Hey guys this is the topic "Dayli Race" for the tickets we have an extra topic.

But we can already place bets on which routes there will be next week.

I type:
Race A = RBR with Gr3.
Race B = Deep Forrest or Monza Gr4
Race C = Fuji Speedway Gr2

Warning... these would not be my desired events, but since PD is sooo boring, I think it's likely.
No no no. Race B is gr3 interlagos!

Well, something i really like to be honest and i know it inside out :D And before the penalty changes it was quite easy for me there to fend off potential divebombs but now...?

But i‘ll be on vacation anyway…

Can you turn off the ingame chat in daily races without turning off the whole UI? It’s distracting seeing people rage quit and sending salty messages to everyone.

I would also like to disable the other players names above their cars. Is this possible?

Yeah I’m strong there too but with no penalties you’ll just be pushed out down the inside in the infield like it was with GTS, basically not worth racing

Would like to see a Gr2 at somewhere like Spa. Like to see two mandatory tyres in Hards and Softs. Could get some good mixed up racing with this.
Gr4 at Laguna. Would be absolute chaos through the corkscrew.

Ive looked to change this feature to in disabling the names above cars, but couldn’t see a way to do it. Had it the other day where the name was right on the horizon and I couldn’t see the corner or my brake point.

I liked the Gr3 race at Brazil a few weeks back, but I didn't play GT-S online. I know it came up a TON on that game so I can understand the apprehension. I wouldn't be mad if it was Gr2s at Daytona road course again as I really got along with that combo. Regardless, they shouldn't be repeating tracks already anyway (cough RBR cough).

To me, having a Gr3 in race B is nice since it's less of a time investment than C.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Death Race. Jason Statham would be proud 🤣

At this point I'm not even getting mad anymore.. Starting to see the funny side of it, sadly.

Not even a single penalty was given all race. I'm surprised my driver avatar didn't fly out the windscreen at some point..

Absolutely hilarious and a good representation of a standard Race B experience this week. The usual push to pass and blocking is constant, and then you get one utter pratt like the guy in the blue Alfa (always the Alfa). It’s basically impossible to run a race and put in some good laps. Just constantly waiting to get rammed, giving space in turn 3, sharp right up the hill nearly always ends up in getting driven into the wall as it did for you. Turn 1 lap 2 made me laugh, you could put Benny Hill music over that mess.

It’s a joke, but tbf that race was pretty mild, or at least standard, if I compare it to some of the ones I was doing earlier in the week.

There just isn’t any incentive to race properly, and they’re pretty much training people into bad habits for the future (even if they do reintroduce penalties at some point). I genuinely suspect many of the drivers doing dodgy stuff in that video might really believe they’re ‘just racing’ and doing nothing wrong (not the deliberate ramming/side-swiping, but the push-passing and blocking).

Edit: I also suspect the F1 thing about having a wheel alongside, on the inside line going into a corner, even marginally alongside, meaning the ‘outside’ leading driver has to leave space, is muddying the waters; idiots seem to think it gives them licence to launch it up the inside any or every corner, as long as they think they’re pointing at the apex they think it’s ok, whatever speed they’re carrying.
Added to that there’s the lack of visibility for the leading drivers. At the end of GTS I made a decision to switch to cockpit view because it just feels better and more immersive, despite it almost certainly costing me a bit of time (bumper cam is faster for me at least), and with cockpit view in some (most?) cars you can only really rely on the radar to get any idea what’s going on behind; and if someone launches it inside, well, I’m usually focussed on the apex not the radar as I’m turning in...

Exactly. If you don't punish bad behaviour, it becomes the norm for those who do it

The push to pass is some thing that ruins racing even if punting gets penalised, pushing people wide is too tempting apparently so the system needs to punish it otherwise it’ll be a standard move

One possible solution could be to have penalties for any contact near a corner, but always blame the driver behind. To make it fair though, take away everyone’s ability to look behind, whatever cam, no mirrors, just radar, so leading drivers can’t deliberately/easily get the driver behind penalised.

Come on, that was a rather friendly one in actual Race B standards. CRB for everyone! Except the Alfa, because... reasons. :)

I love having this burner account... it's so refreshing to go into a race and just not give an eff. I still don't want to be rammed, but if I don't place well I couldn't care less. It's also fun to use some different cars.

Did a Daily B in the Bugatti. It's got 16 cylinders and four turbos but somehow it's so damn slow on the straights, whereas a four cylinder turbo is one of the fastest (Subaru). Go figure. Was out ahead by ~6 seconds coming out of the tunnel and biffed it. Left rear caught the grass and I spun. Made for an exciting finish as the Toyota was gaining quickly ~.150 back at the line.

Took the BWM M6 to Suzuka a couple days ago and just decided to just go for it. Did a one stop and won by like 30 seconds. Almost lapped the guy who was in last. At this point I think there were only five players left in the race. It was primarily C ranked lobby. Didn't even feel good about it. It was like playing against a bunch of 3rd graders in dodgeball.

I absolutely love this DTM livery on the Bimmer. Kudos to whoever did it.

The game is a bit of a joke right now, so I treat it as such and I don’t really care where I finish, but there is just no racing happening; only ramming so while it doesn‘t matter I don’t really feel motivated to play.

Just back from holidays, first thing I'll do is create a second account. Planning to do some... err... research in the E or D ranks.

Anyone have more than 2 accounts?
I have a UK and a Asia account but is it worth making a 3rd for the Americas? Are we ever going to get mix world lobbies?
While the lobbies and penalty systems are a joke I might make a 3rd anyway for UK just so I can race dailys without worrying. Mainly do dailys on Asia account but seem to be having poor server connections so not really fair to those in that region if I’m lagging with poor server connection
