if you got any special parts for FF cars during the Cafe Menu Bonanza, they could be actually useful this week. i had a few bore up s's for the scirocco (anyone need one??) and it made a big difference.

I sense the Scirocco meta incoming. Especially with Bore Up S adding a nice boost of torque to the already torquey engine. The RCZ might actually end up being good for the same reason.

Can you tell me what the “s” stands for in those parts?

I'm guessing group 2 at Fuji, with the mile long straight, will be a one make.

Yes it seems to be one make but not because of what you think. The AMG and others are 3 car-lengths faster than the meta, Nismo GTR, but in the corners the Nissan is miles faster.

Alien time is in the early 1:28s whereas I've managed an official 1:307 so far after 7 laps of practice. I say official because I did manage a 1:30:4 but I strayed an inch out of the limit heading into the straight and it got disallowed.

My personal target for now is a 1:30:3 and I know I can do it if I eliminate some tiny errors.

The S stands for "Special". Basically an enhanced variant of the regular part that is (currently) only available in roulettes. Check the Special Parts thread in the Tuning subforum for more information.

It is a tuning part that can only be recieved by roulette tickets and is superior to those that you can buy in the tuning shop.

Highspeed
Medspeed
Lowspeed
-tracks
I assume it is the first letter of each.

T1 is a nightmare on this race. Not done Race B yet, but last time out and in a practice lobby yesterday people towards the back don’t understand the concept of they need brake earlier than normal, but instead they use the same braking point and slam into the cars up ahead.
Dirty air and dirty tyres is a big issue too i found last night. I got caught up in the idiots at the back, and I ended up getting shoved off track, picking up dirty tyres and was in the dirty air and I couldn’t keep the car on the track. Plus the other around me were diving for corners

I was having disconnections last night. The game was going into to offline mode about every 20 minutes. PD defo have connection issues by looks of things

What is your DR/ SR if you don't mind me asking? I'm quite sure you're A/S or similar ..

I ask because I just did my first Race B, started 11th and finished 6th. Could have been 5th (was my position before) but was punted by accident on last lap and the guy actually slowed down and let me pass, but unfortunately, P7 saw the chance and passed us both.

I didn't notice anyone punting, shoving, etc, just a few track limit pens... Maybe I had a one-off, clean race a s the rest will be miserable 🤣

Speaking of.. The game focuses on collecting cars. Is there a place to view ones collection in a nice way? All I found was the menu page in the garage, which is just a list of my cars. But not like a real garage, as a scape, where its nice to look at my collection. Kinda strange that a game which puts so much priority on collecting cars has only a "paper list" of that collection.

I’m still at B/S. I dont do enough daily races to bump up my rating.

I think last time I raced this combo I was down at C/S and it was just crazy. And I think yesterday issues where people just going for it as it was a practice lobby.

Put another 10 minutes in qualy and got down to 1:30:4 and was starting in 8th place.

I could have gone elbows out and overtake without problems but wanted to do it the right way. Go figure...

Undecided if intentional/ dirty or just an incident (leading towards dirty) but I'm convinced i was ahead enough that both should have realized I'm through and back out and keep the race clean...

Thoughts? Ended up with severe engine and side damage, dropped from 7th to last but managed a 13/16 finish in the end... 🫤🫣🤐

Last time.......it was a cameo only by name...........but this time..............

And yeah, I basically let your through; it would have been impossible to match your pace

But yes, the Mercedes is really good (at least for me) in this race

No previous history or any bumps, etc. 2nd race this week and never seen him before. That all happened lap 1 turn 3 or 4 and he only got close because I was slowed down trying to go past P7 with no contact and be fair, as it should be!

I'm expecting a better starting position next time I race as after that one ended, i watched Tidgney's vid for a couple of pointers and went from 1:30:5 to 1:29:9 after a few tries 🙂 And i know I got a few more tenths to find!

Race B is a dumpster fire so far. Just so much diving, punting and pushing. Ran 3 races, all ruined by either stupidity or malice.

Race C is better, but boy the tyre wear is brutal. RSR was unmanageable after 5 laps on mediums. I tried to do 7. Big mistake.

So in race C in the Porsche, what's the ideal strategy? 11 on RH, 4 on RM? I'm unavailable with how much time is lost pitting on this track, but assuming with only 15 laps that one stop will be quicker than 2.

Daily A has been alot of fun. Still not idea why the Scirroco is so much faster on straight a ways. I have won 3 of 6 using the FK8 Civic Type R. It seem to handle better than the VW but I am losing on straights like .2 to .7y on the front straight. I am at 1:22.3 in TT but I have actually done 1.22.0 in the race.

Still can not figure out the last sweeping right handers either.

I wonder if the Golf would be as good.

So ended my run of Race B fun with this nice two lap battle last night in A+/A lobby. I started on pole and messed up first bus stop run and got a penalty and ended up back in pack... honestly worth it, was more fun than a lot of the wins I got without any close racing.

The two pack runs through the bus stop were terrifying though...

Don't you just love getting a better exit after going around the outside at Heel, only for the asshole on your right to force you onto the grass all the way up to T9, getting off scot-free while landing you with a cut track penalty? 👎

I don't want to drive the Scirocco there, so I'm going with my good old MiTo. Cant't hold up on the straights, but in the infield it's fun. P5 in a grid of mostly DR A drivers with Sciroccos. I'm so proud of myself...😜🤣🤣

It was a very good race! I bottled it at the end, I think I over-tuned the VW because nobody needs brakes that are quite that sensitive.

Gonna stick with my original plan and go through my garage FFs just to see which brings the most fun.

I had a similar one. I'm not in front but he gave me space until I started to brake... I'm just a passenger then. Maybe it wasn't deliberate
