i'm a bit jealous of people who avoided / delayed using the Alfa. its been what, 6 months since the Alfa has been the top Gr4? i remember some weeks with the GTR but I'd say by July I'd had my fill of Alfa Romeo Simulator. wouldn't be a real problem if i could handle driving more than one of the GR3s on TCS0... alas. That d@mn Alfa just drives so well...š a PP correction is overdue, really.
i think you're right, and i'll add my own hypothesis: a fair percentage of the A+ drivers made secondary accounts, mostly high-playing users. i don't have anything against people doing this, but its had the effect of shrinking the A+ pool. And although my evidence is anecdotal, my guess is that a lot fewer people are running the race, because of the number of "A" and "A+" drivers that end up in the same race as me, a lowly "B" with a long way to go to reach "A".
while i believe there are fewer active players today than there were five months ago, i've noticed that those who do play - play nearly every day. i have to think the task of getting to A+ from B is immeasurably more difficult than it would be if every user only had one account. again, i don't have any issue with people doing this, but its clear that the practice has made the rankings process more convoluted. for me, the bigger problem, is only having half-full races at nearly all times of the day.
random daily race gripe: i wish A was like, 3 laps shorter. especially when theres a top 100 time on the grid and youre kind of in a procession. and while i find the car settings updates to be a farce, i think it opens things up a bit... i was able to get the 89 vette under 58 seconds pretty easily, and i suspect theres plenty more
