I had been doing some QT laps on daily race B, and I had just gotten my time into the 1:30's. I had to leave for a while, and I come back and see the leaders are in the 1:14's! So I watched the leader's replay, and saw the glitch in action.

So does this mean that if I want to race a normal race on daily race B, I'm SOL? Is everyone glitching the race? If so, that really sucks!!

Yeah i just did a race in A/S and top 5 all cheated. Don't think I'll be doing another one. 😕

I'm finding mixed lobbies. Some are clean and some have the top drivers with glitch times. Basically I call out the cheaters when I join the lobby if there are any, and then focus on my race. If they win it's tainted, if they don't, great. Either way I'm just vibing with my car

I can't begin to express how angry I am at this game right now. I've run Race C all day and I've come in last in all but one race. ALL BUT ONE! That was only because someone pulled over rather than quit. I'm still ranked A for some stupid reason, racing in A lobbies with people who are qualifying 5 SECONDS faster than me. I can't even find .5 seconds on my quali time. What the hell?! I resorted to using the meta cars and I still can't touch any decent time. I'm not even getting CRBs because I can't run a clean lap, let alone a clean race. I hate Spa, which is fine because it hates me right back. I wanted to like this race, but there's just no way. I'm terrible at this track. I can't make it through lap 1 without getting knocked off the track, and after that it's just a boring parade. One lap of bad sportsmanship followed by mind-numbing lack of any kind of strategy.

Why can't PD fix the stupid cars? I don't want to race in meta cars that are fast but unstable. I'm tired of running laps from last place. It's not fun. I'm not even learning anything. I had such a horrible race just now that I GOT LAPPED! I took a week off last week because the races sucked, and it looks like PD has assured that I'll take another week off because these races suck too.

And now there's a glitch on Race B?! I can't even switch over to try my hand at that. This is INSANE! I'm beginning to hate this game. Just hate it. Another week off is probably going to turn into retirement for good because this game is just so boring, unfair, stupid, unregulated, poorly planned and even worse executed. Just . . . ugh. I'm out.

Edit: Ok, I did one more race after I cleared my head. Here's a case in point: I ran all race pretty clean, moving up from P11 to P9. I was approaching the back straight on lap 7, and the guy I was passing lost control and took the turn wide. I swerved to avoid being hit by him and/or punting him off the track. I got a 1 second penalty for not obeying track limits. By the time I served the penalty (which is ALWAYS in the worst possible place) I didn't lose 1 second, I lost more like 5 seconds and got passed by every other car. I finished P15 only because the guy in from of me inexplicably crashed ten feet before the finish line. This game is stupid.

Yep. That'll do me. So my race B qualifying time went from top 50 to well outside the top 1000.

Thought I'd do a race and see it for myself. As expected, I was 9th on the grid behind a bunch of talentless cheats. Passed half of them on the first half a lap, then copped a 3 second penalty for plowing into the rest as they slowed down for the glitch.

What sort of times are people setting at Spa? After about 10 quali laps I managed a somewhat scruffy 2.16.0 in the Mercedes. Was surprised that got me 4th in an all B lobby. Had a really enjoyable race with a couple of really good battles, one of which included going side by side with a Nissan GTR through the left kink before the last chicane - both making it through there and the following chicane side by side without touching.
I managed 4 laps on the softs before pitting for mediums. Ended up finishing 3rd. The lobby was also the widest variety of cars I’ve ever seen in a gr3 race - Supra’s, Mercs, GT-R’s, 911’s, Mustangs, Vipers to name a few.
Hope Race C continues to be this enjoyable!
I'm a high 2:13 using the old Skyline, I much prefer the Supra but seem to be around 2 /10th's slower in that, I think if I run any races I'll be using the Supra...

Does anyone know (based on the history of these types of glitches), can they fix it soon or are we facing a whole week of 12 year-olds and insecure adults winning Race B by 3 million seconds???
In GT Sport there was a glitch on Spa that allowed to cut Bus Stop(last turn) driving onto the grass, they added barriers in like 2 days?

Yeah they generally correct these things in 2/3 days, like the bus stop cheat at Daytona where they placed barriers in the way.

I don't know what they'll do with all the glitch wins, mind. I guess they can clear the qualifying times but it would be probably too much to take the wins off people.

I can't even imagine how it might bring any fun to "win" a race using that kind of cheat. The excuse of "I have to do it because others do it, too" is just... yeah, fill in any expletive.

And has PD in the meantime pulled a plug on that race, as they should have done instantly?

PD should run a Sophy lap at Maggiore to find the fastest possible Gr4 time, anybody with a quicker lap time on the leaderboards is a cheat and should have their account suspended for the rest of the year.

I get it and tend to agree, but that would also ban the people who have done that out of curiosity, expecting it to be fixed soon anyway.

The curiosity argument only applies to the first person who did it in my opinion, they got reset and drove over the line to see what happened, I reckon everybody after that has seen the lap replay and knew exactly what was going to happen.

I was curious too so looked at the ghost for the WR lap.

I'm with you there. Personally, I just watched it on someone's YT video and had seen enough.

On a side note, I'd be interested to know how anybody actually FOUND that very specific glitch in the first place.

If you're curious and want to see teh glitch, you don't have to finish the lap. Once teleported, just quit out.

Anyway, moot point now as the daily has been changed.

14 minutes of qualifying for the new "glitchless" Race B, only to enter the lobby with frozen video and audio. It didn't even finish loading the list of opponents. It's been a month since the last time I saw this happen.

OK one step at a time.

1) The meta cars are rock solid stable, the SUpra and Nissan are bolted tot he track compared to other cars
2) If you're still losing it, turn on ASM, it helps immensely
3) If you're 5 seconds off A rated players, something is wrong
