I have a 3 race limit. If I end up been involved in a crash or incident that wasn’t my fault in 3 races in a row I stop playing Sport for the that day.

I think most of us want to be clean racers, but recently when I have been mixed with these lower SRs drivers I can see why some of them have been given that rating.
Majority of the time these drivers are over driving trying to get the win hoping that will boost the DR/SR but in fact they end up getting involved in incidents that then stops them gaining that ratings. It’s knowing when to push and when to back out that some seem to not understand.
Yesterday I lost patience and punted a guy who deliberately kept hitting me instead of braking at RBR, SO on the next to final turn I gave him a bumper and sent him wide out of the track limit lol .... sometimes revenge can be sweet

Well, last time when I stood where I stand now, ratings-wise, 3 races were enough to get me from A/S down to B/A. Two more and it was B/B.😬

Tried to qualify for about an hour for race B, got a 1:28.597 with the Viper. I have about 3 tenths left to eek out give or take, but I think a rest is due. I'm really tempted to run the GT-R or the NSX since I can see those cars can just exit a few tenths faster in T3 alone in the races.

Got myself down to a 1:28:7 in the NSX, got a :3 in me for sure but I can’t really be bothered. Probably not going to do many races to save my DR from being wiped out.

Another useless racing week PD.
It really seems that whoever sets the dailies, don't test, don't care about it, or ...
One week left for my annual subscription... Will see.

Man you guys are flying at RBR, I managed a 29.3 and felt that was competitive as I started my two races indecent qualy spots but seems like a lot of you are in the 28's. The Lancer is the dark horse around this track, it turns in so nicely in sector 2 and the back end is pretty stable. I used to love the Z4 around here but just struggling with it a bit, the SUpra, as ever for me, feels the safest in the race, especially out of turn 3 (some will see it as turn 2) as it can go hard in 2nd gear without spinning.

Only two races last night, in one I finished a boring 3rd, never got anywhere near the cars in front or behind. Second race was quite stacked, started 7th, made a clean pass plus managed to avoid some carnage and found myself 3rd. Then I get hammered from behind, down to last and recover to 6th. Post race chat the guy said he hit me on purpose for hitting him on lap 1, except it wasn't me.... like really dude?

I tried the Z4 as well, liked it because it was super stable and user-friendly.

But then I found out that it's slow as ****.😆

The old AMG was already three tenths faster after only two laps, and then the 4C another half second with some room to improve.

How come that the GTR 13 seems to be the fastest car overall here? Shouldn't the GTR 18 at least be equally quick?

The Z4 has poor top end, it accelerates fine though, and understeers a lot. BUT, you can absolutely lay on the throttle. Not tried the GTR's as they always feel so sketchy to me. The Supra's gearing REALLY works for me at every track, i can dive/trail brake into a corner and it seems to intuitively change down at JUST the right time to engage turn in.

The GTR is the quickest for sure, but it’s a beast that needs taming. It’s very spiky coming out of tight turns on the gas. I’m loving the NSX, can properly step on it coming out of turns, it’s just the inner section of the track where the nose wants to run wide.

GT-R '18 has terrible top speed. I should know, I currently drive it in a national league series I partake in.

From the blog post about the next update. This is awesome! Increased credit rewards for sport mode.. I can hardly believe it lol.

Tomorrow is my day off, when I usually do lots of daily races.
None of them really interest me, so I'm going fishing, instead. 🐟

I'm sure when I get back home, I'll still turn the game on, but will probably try to knock out some more gold Circuit Experiences, and complete some liveries.
A week of lousy races is good for taking care of those solitary tasks. 👍

Goes to show this is still a game, the cars in Group 3 from GTS to SPORT are TOTALLY different. Remember when the SUpra was loose and the GTR was a gun in a straight line? How about the Aston? Completely different personality. The Mustang also sounds neutered now and is borderline undriveable.

Question: how do you feel about people overtaking you on the inside of corner #1 of RBR?There's a 90% they will push you on the outside and possibly make you lose a few positions.

Since I am so respectful towards every player, I never try. If I see I'm faster and I have a chance to take the inside, I don't. I lift my foot from the accelerator and get behind the car in front of me.
I tend to avoid this race because of that.
Defending the inside results in turning way off the better line and probably resigning 2 o 3 positions on the uphill.
Take the apex correctly and you probably receive some massive dive bombs and losing some positions too.

This race (as Monza) is a fest for dirty drivers.
Not my cup of tea...

Tried the qualifying for Race A last night, couldn't make a turn without the car spinning out.
Race B, did a few quali laps, had a time of 1:31:xxx, just didn't enjoy the track/car combo for some reason.

Not a good daily races week for me.

I race clean but if people want to race like bullies I have no problem running them wide or just generally making life miserable for them... maybe they'll get the message someday about racing with respect and etiquette...

Did the system really punish me even though the NSX and GTR both lost control on their own and there was nothing I could do to not collide with them afterwards?
In short, yes. The system can't determine why they loose control, it only registered that youmade contact and they went off

The Mustang also sounds neutered now and is borderline undriveable.
I can't comprehend this... I loved the Mustang in GTS and I love it now. I also think it sounds better.

And finally, to all you in very mixed lobbies, are you on a PS4 or a PS5? I think the player base is far smaller on the PS5 because I never experience this

Tried the Skyline, the turbo lag kills it exiting the slow corners. I can't pull a time in the GTR '13, just can't. The RSR is OK but it's too nervous over the kerbs and bumps. The NSX feels good and has my qualy time right now but I still suspect it's the Supra that will generate my fastest time.

But the system can determine if I've been pushed on the red part of the first corner of RBR, so it doesn't assign me any penalty for running there without braking or decelerating.

So PD did half the job, as always.

It's not even remotely the same. In GTS the Mustang was one of my most used cars, it sounded like a Coyote engine too. Now, the rear is so loose, i find it undriveable and it sounds way, ay too quiet and more like a high torque, low rev chevy engine.

I've not had any stability problems with the mustang, if anything I find it surprisingly stable for what it is. I think its easier to keep the rear planted on it than it is in a fair amount of other cars.

I agree it's more loose. I always made.mine more loose in GTS with BB but I don't need that here.
The sound is different yes. More low rumble throaty now.
I would love for it to be the Cross plane Voodo, but considering when the car is supposed to be made.it makes sense not to be.

the system determine that there was contact before you left the track. Penalty free. That's why people at Monza touch at the entry to Roggia then cut it

have you tried the Mercedes AMG GT3 '16? I find it to be incredibly planted through all the kerbs and bumps. About the only place it wants to kill me is exit of T3 but basically everything wants to kill me there. Curse of controller and whatnot lol

The WRX GT3 is also pretty planted and takes the 6-7-8 complex at a higher sustained speed than I can pull with anything else. It does lose time on the two long straights but not a whole lot and can make up the time in the fiddly section starting with T4 all the way through the end of the lap

The Coyote still likes a rev though, it's very different to the Chevy 6 litre and this sounds like the chevy. I nearly bought a Mustang, great engine, went 997 instead but it was close.

Here’s an idea.

If PD were to introduce a paid sports online mode for say £7/$8/€8 per month would you sign up? In Sports mode you would get the normal free service that offers the 3 current Daily race options, but paid service has those paid services but maybe includes an extra Daily race?
For your money you get access to better quality servers that have better stability, less connection issues (like ghosted cars), more cars per lobbies upto say 20/25 cars in a race and a proper report feature that allows you to send a report to PD who will review the incident and then hand out penalties (i.e DR points drop, SR points drop, day(s) bans, weekly bans upto lifetime bans)?

For me I can see they been lots of pros and but they are also coms to this too

I wouldn't pay more than 5 USD for that. That said, why not just do that only without charging extra for it?

There'd need to be far more added than 1 daily race for me to pay anything.
