I thought the same. Why is the Mini not in the used car dealership?
I've got two heavily tuned ones, with changes I cannot take back.
I think it will be in used car dealership , later this week
but if you got one that you want to make into a default state , you have to buy new engine and then new body

please share with us your car's detailed settings! thanks a lot!
Share the wealth.
Okay. The person who sent it to me wanted to win a few races doing last to first before I shared it because soon everyone would run basically the same tune. I was thinking of doing last to first but he also said that dirty driving is extremely easy with the track being open, so this may be my last video on the race.

Other than what is shown, widebody and wheels, all aero parts and roll cage. ASM on immediately gained me 4 tenths of a second.

Race B, well, the circuit itself is quite interesting, in my humble opinion. Some challenging sectors, with difficult lines to figure out and improve on.

That is, of course, for TT / qualifying. In a race, though... I can't think of another track with that many divebomb and punt-to-pass opportunities. Just drive around it once, and you can literally feel every spot where people will be crashing into you from way behind.

Another week for my burner account.

thanks a lot!! i appreciate it!

I really don't get the obsession with fuel savers I don't recall a single one on GTS.

Like above, make it 6 laps, evening into night with a chance of rain but not guaranteed. Just liven things up a bit and give us a new experience.

They started out with these kinds of ideas it's sad how much it's fizzled out into the same rehashes week in / week out

Wouldn’t it be nice if I could buy the car being used in the tuning race?! The one I’ve got can’t be needed enough to use.

Thanks, PD, for another **** week of races.

Sometimes the game helps you out. One of the early cafe menus requires the Mini so it may appear in the dealership then. Maybe, don't quote me on it.

There were plenty.

The Menu that requires the Mini is Menu 6 I believe. Considering online unlocks at menu 9, it's probably a safe bet they've passed that chance :P

Well what's their excuse? Anybody who sells this classic car should hang up their keys.
A lot of people will have shoved a K20 turbo into it, along with other irreversible modifications.

Switching to a different settings sheet will help, but unless you've bought a second one at some point you won't be starting from the same baseline.

Certainly worth a go, just expect a push to pass punt fest.
I did one race B #lunchbreakracing on my second account. Polesitter was a WRX by a wide margin (seems that there are some aliens among the low-to-middle DR B drivers), the rest mainly Alfas. Started P4, hit the car before me when he braked early and I was too slow to avoid him, waited until he had recovered. Was P6 then, but finished P2 1 second behind the winner (people repeatedly missed the hairpin onto the Miyabi section, and I scared someone into going wide onto the grass in the long uphill 180). Surprisingly clean and fair race. Which of course won't be the case when I try it on my main account 😆.

Surely they could have duplicated the WTC700 event details for race C, adding in weather. Such a boring race set.

Why bother with race C when I can do the WTC (same time frame) for 550k credits
The Gr1 cars suit the track better than the Gr.4/ 700pp ones in the WTC race, plus it's just more fun racing real people rather than the AI - just to see the incredibly dumb overtakes people will attempt. At some point you just get bored of picking races because of their grinding potential - I honestly have no idea how many credits you get for Sport races, I don't really care.

So A is a one make, B is an Afla fest, C is a fuel saver?

This seems like as good of a week as any to take the week off.

And to think i was criticised for saying this weeks races looked bleak 😂 another week off, well done PD, well done.
After seeing the settings for the Mini I can already tell I’m going to hate Race A. Given how much I hate the (lack of) penalty system I’m clearing away from Race B, and Race C doesn’t interest me in the slightest.

I’m seriously beginning to wonder if we are being used as real time beta testers for the dailies. They keep using the same kinds of races with the same setups on different tracks in a way that leads me to believe they are collecting data for the next BoP update. Surely they aren’t trying to draw in more new racers with these recycled races, are they?! I’m hoping there will be a bump in new ideas after Christmas, but I’m also expecting to be bitterly disappointed.

Jumped in race B on my alt to see how is "Sport Mode" right now... Waste of time... No sport, no racing, no penalties for dirty drivers, penalties for being pushed to the wall... Ahhhh I hate this game right now, thanks PD
Edit: didnt mentioned that after 3 races I dropped from A/S to B/C
Last week was definitely a week that tested any A/S or B/S drivers. Amazing how quickly the DR and SR can drop!

I went from B/S to C/S due to a few bad drivers in race B. The tricky part is grinding back to the higher DR level. Seems like it takes forever.

We’ll see how this week goes.

Question for those amongst you, how do you take it when you get into a collision that is your fault? I did this yesterday being a complete numpty full of adrenaline.

In the process punted off someone in their Z4. I got a bit rattled that I did this and so for the rest of the race was a bit too aggressive and all over the place. Every day's a school day though and I dived straight back in afterwards so I could have another go and attempt to race properly:

I pause on the straight if possible and write "Sorry mate" and then apologise at the end as well if they haven't left. Doesn't get to me or anything, it happens in racing.

I'll always let them back ahead as well, not fair otherwise.

I will wait for the person to recover and let them pass. I won't write sorry during the race as I am afraid my car will auto-drive into someone else's way, but I will after the race. It's about all you can do. From there, it is what it is...

You kinda missed my point, the WTC700 has tire, fuel and weather for roughly the same amount of duration as Race C, not that it needs to be a 700pp event! The current race C is not anywhere close to its full potential of what an be done with the settings imo.

I take a look at what's going on around me and depending on where other cars are I'll let them pass me when it's safe.

To my surprise, Race B is not so dominated by the 155. I never fancy being another player who uses the META so I wanted to troll a bit using the Suzuki Swift :dunce:

This little boxy machine can be pretty useful - 2:28.525 is my best lap so far, behind only a Peugeot RCZ and an Audi TT in the leaderboard if we sort it with FF cars only
I'm racing in lobbies with B ranked players and I came close to winning on many occasions, hopefully I can cause some more upsets with the sleeper I chose :mischievous:

None of these will be applicable though when I go up to DR 'A', I guess.
