Crazy lag at GV yesterday and today. Cars moving around like a bad acid trip!
And as it happened everyone’s connection went to one bar red.

This happen to anyone else?

Yes it does and to many, so something must be wrong on PD/Sony side.

I had the same experience yesterday with the daily race c at GV and the Nation’s races also at GV.
I think we had race together yesterday but I didn’t recognize your name until after the race when you exited 🍻 always fun to see other’s from here on track

Same stuff. Definitely a PD problem. In fact, it's been happening in Daily races as well. Daily A specifically.

In my Nations race there was a car in front and a car behind me. All of the sudden, both of them just stopped accelerating. They were still steering around the turns but like the drivers forgot where the gas pedal was. I 'passed' the car ahead, the leader board changed, and it stayed like that for probably five seconds. Then, the other cars snapped back into place, the the car behind was ghosted inside my car, and I lost about a second to the car ahead as I went off line to avoid his non-accelerating car. I got lucky, many people just get their races ruined.

When you think you're quite a decent/good driver and an actual top tier driver comes along and gives you a reality check. Utterly demolished, haha. :lol::eek::bowdown:

On the topic of lag it's definitely something wrong on PD/Sony's end today, indeed. Had several of those where everyone goes one red bar and end up everywhere on the track. Fortunately no mid race disconnects though.

Yeah did one C last night, red internet for everyone, bouncing cars, invisible crashes...

And people still flashing their lights like its the car in fronts fault.

Controller players just accidentally flash our lights when reacting to something last second. Lights are assigned to L3.

I know it can be changed, but I like the way it looks on replays.

I have disabled it, annoying to see the flashing lights almost every time when turning and pressing a bit too hard on the L3 stick.

Looks like the servers are crashing! Just seem a streamer have two races effected by really bad lag and loads of people getting disconnected.
Glad I’m not racing this weeks daily races as I can image it will kill some peoples DR.

Just hope the issue is sorted for the GTWS.

This has been happening in the US for like a week and a half. Just now hitting the Eu?

But agreed, that much more glad I am not interested at all in this week's Daily races. I might do a couple, but only on the #2 account for sure; obviously a big risk of SR|DR reset with all the disconnects and lag crashes. Might just TT them and see where I end up.

Yeah looks like EU is getting the same issue.
Ive seen the US have had issue last week and saw lots of people in the GTWS saying they had issues, but I’ve not had any issues.

skip to 2:21:37 plus a few previous races they had issues

Alright!!! Lego Magori again!!! In a gr3 to boot!!! What a unique combo. 🙄 The Mazda race would be fun but I already know how it will go down with no dr/sr updates.

Hmm sounds like I skip this week's dailies then until it gets sorted, especially since I only do TGR GT Cup and Nations Cup.
 
Ahhhhhh the laaaaaggggg is real ⚰️💩🍌

Went slightly faster on 2nd account and started P3 only to experience multiple glitches in the matrix...

Cars seeming to be up on the hills lol and spawning in front of me, etc. Lost P3 to a push-to-pass (I'm almost sure) but gave benefit of the doubt due to the lag..

The amazing things was a proper act of sportsmanship on last corner on last lap by a driver who was behind me all race and tapped me by mistake and let me back through. Well played sir, may you receive many riches in life 😁

Well huh . . . . This was going to be the week I started racing again but it seems like PD is intentionally trolling us again. Not only are the races stale, now their servers are garbage? What in the world are they trying to do? I mean seriously, as a business, are they actually trying to drive people away? Drive us insane? Drive their profits down? Because that’s the only driving I’m seeing right now.

I imagine they’re banking on their movie to create a bump in sales in August, but what in the world are people going to find when they try these races out. PD should be embarrassed!
 
Going to skip all daily race untill the servers is fixed, I only subscribe to PS+ for GT7 online racing and the time trials, at least they work. 🙂

And to be part of the Toyota Gazoo Racing GT Cup.

Had a quick run at Daytona this morning - field gets spread out quite quickly, there was a ton of dirty driving on the straight to the bus stop with people leaning on other cars to help them into the wall, and there was also a lot of dive bombing going on. As soon as you lose a slipstream you’re nowhere so you need a lobby where drivers understand how to work together for 20 minutes… which is not the lobby I was in 😂
 
I hope Race B has good parity between cars like last time. Last time the Mustang was the META, but the Jag and Porsche were also very competitive, and I saw a bunch of other cars running near the front on occasion as well.

Hopefully the Corvettes can be competitive in both B and C for a change...otherwise hopefully my backup Mustangs can get the job done.
 
Definitely noticing the lag issues racing from the back, being at the front in the series race yesterday I didn't see very much but wow.

14th to 3rd was the positive, but 14 players to 7 in a Thanos style click of a finger made that happen.

A bunch of cars just driving against the wall? Timing was all over the place...

Car I saw hit the wall in my rear view was on my bumper a second later.

Not fun PD
