Unless anything has changed in the EMEA region they are early evening in a window of 5pm to 10pm usually.Anyone know what the time slots are for manufacturers round 1 for 'A' drivers?
I'm asking cause I finish work at 8pmUnless anything has changed in the EMEA region they are early evening in a window of 5pm to 10pm usually.
The lower ones seem not changed from all day.
Exactly what I and numerous others have had. Seems to kick in around the second lap. No warning at allEMEA, Race C. “Unexpected error” crash from race.
PD are a shambles. They must be the laughing stock of the esports community.
It’s time the community voted with its feet and boycott this rubbish until they fix ALL the issues with Sport mode.
This is a Rory problem, not GT. He's having problems connecting as a whole, not just with server instability.Rory can't get through a Daily C without crashing. And it like kills the whole game to where he has had to reboot his PS5.
Here’s hoping they’ll stay that wayDone two Manufacturers races this afternoon as I'm off work, my lobbies (UK) have been fine. Compared to the last two days where every daily booted me out, it seems okay on my end...might be random luck though.
My skill issues cannot be improved even without lag though...
Except the experience and behaviour of the lag is very consistent between dailies, world series and gazoo. It would be interesting (and strange) if it were different architecture for these.I don't know, haven't had time to race all week, but AFAIK daily races are P2P while GTWS are dedicated server, so not really the same thing
@Famine will know
I agree, in the finals where they use a different UI and cameras that seems like dedicated servers but the rest im not even sure how that would work making dedicated servers for these races outside of lobbies and dailies. I also wonder what difference it makes when it's dependent either way on your own connection?Except the experience and behaviour of the lag is very consistent between dailies, world series and gazoo. It would be interesting (and strange) if it were different architecture for these.
Wow - well done, sir!I've just released GranTracker, which is a free Windows and Mac application for keeping track of your DR and SR.

Any news on server status? Don't want a bunch of red cells on that software to show up Also, what are this week's races?
Yeah 100%. GR4 also helps.I think Daytona Road is a track that really suits the daily race format. You get almost guaranteed close racing and close finishes, and the big slipstream means there's overtaking, but the races are short enough that it doesn't feel like a slipstream lottery. Good fun.
I need the sprint races for life reasons so haven't don't a lot of Daytona. I just wish there was a strategy for tires or fuel beyond the mediocre saving stuffYeah 100%. GR4 also helps.
There was a GR4 daily race at Le Mans (no chicane) not to long ago that was also awesome for the same reasons.
I've done that many, many times. I spend so much time looking at the car jumping all over the place that I forget to drive.I did a daily race B today, it had some lag, enough to distract me to hit the barrier.
I did the same method during the worst of the lag in the manufacturers race, I actually got into a zone where I ignored all the teleporting cars around me frozen in time or rocketing away in spins all over the track, then suddenly appear just millimeters in front of or behind me still racing.I've done that many, many times. Then I swing the other way (ahem) - I assume everyone's not really there, and I end up smashing people!
That is exactly 100% my experience also.I did the same method during the worst of the lag in the manufacturers race, I actually got into a zone where I ignored all the teleporting cars around me frozen in time or rocketing away in spins all over the track, then suddenly appear just millimeters in front of or behind me still racing.
I only completely smashed into a car once. Because it was actually there. It's funny when you are surprised you hit a car you are deliberately driving into. But that was the game GT7 gave us recently.
