Been there, (not) done that. many times. Don't forget you can save a recording of the gameplay after the fact.Kicking myself in the ass for not remembering I wanted to save it until AFTER I exited the room...
I'm actually with you on this. If I had it to do over again, I would have slowed down and avoided him, especially since we were so far in the back of the pack - what did I really gain from it?It's interesting seeing the majority view on this, I'll have to try and take it onboard as looking at this I don't think it's unreasonable for him to get back on the racing line for the turn. There was no sudden movement or swerve and it seems you had enough time to react, it was very predictable and you can't expect to just hold throttle 100% regardless of what's happening in front of you.
Speed doesn't give you right of way.
However my view appears to be the minority, I thought it worth sharing for that reason.
It's not the worst thing to ever happen anyway but could have been a bigger incident on another day.**
**EDIT on rewatch I can see what happened in rear view. Ooh I'm not sure dude, I don't think this is a good move. As above others disagree so hey, take it for whatever you think it's worth but I would have felt an apology was owed there.
you sir, are quit philisophical today. Think I appriciate that you take time to reflect on your driving, more people should do that. Indeed, even though it is just a game, you do have an influence on other people's live, no matter how small it might be, with your actions in that game and one might take that into consideration.Been there, (not) done that. many times. We're all people, and it would have been the nice thing to do to avoid him. In the end, it's just a game, but how we treat people is real life.
Wow, that came out of nowhere! But I think it's true. I may add that to my signature.
Luckily there's DRWF on a Friday.Would be cool if there was a standing GTPlanet race in the lobby...run the same tracks as the dailies and we can (try to) use that as a meeting ground? I know these things often start with grand intentions but die on the vine but, and with enough interest, maybe it could happen?
Just thinkin' out-loud, which is rarely a good thing. Though, when done in public, tends to earn you a good berth from all those around you. 😁
Thanks for the hot tip @Mercia ! Gave the huracan a crack and managed to improve my quali time by 0.3 secs over my ferrari time. Took a bit of getting used to but you can really throw it into corners and it takes off like a rocket out of the double rights onto the back straight so makes up a heap of time there too.In better news the Huracan is a monster in Race B, looks totally slept on in the standings but trust me, give it a go.
Only know the tracks thus far:Any info about next week daily races (tracks, car groups)?
Now mind you that your total points don’t intermix between your account, if you care about that sort of thing. I don’t, but I know it matters to a lot of people. But having an account in each region, has more or less allowed me to do the complete schedule one way or anotherI can't believe I never thought of this! So many years of FIA races written off because I work nights... Never once occurred to me I could just set up a backup which has race times that favour my schedule. Damnit!
It pulls really well up the hill after the final chicane too - you can leave people behind there. Thanks for the hot tip @Mercia ! The view might be crap, but I've found GT by Citreon the fastest around Road Atlanta. Taken me from fighting in the last half the field to top 5 qualifiers and a 2nd place last time out.It pulls really well up the hill after the final chicane too - you can leave people behind there.
As you say, it takes a bit if getting used to - I used it successfully all week last week at Spa, but it feels like a totally different car at Road Atlanta.
And, as per usual, people don't like you overtaking them when they're using the 'fastest' car!
Only know the tracks thus far:
A - Grand Valley
B - Spa
C - Nurb GP
I'm glad I'm away for 2 weeks can't be doing with your singingI'm Sparbie girl, in Sparbie world.
We just did Spa last week.I'm Sparbie girl, in Sparbie world.

Unlikely to be the ambulance on Sports tyres. Most likely going to be the MC20 or something like the Ford GT, if I had to guess.A: the ambulance
B: Gr3
C: Gr4
Guessed
This is unfortunately the second time they have done it. Earlier in the year they did the exact same B and C combo but combind it with a repeated A too.Repeating an entire week for a couple of months ago this week is an all-time low for the daily format.
Life in Spa-stic, it's Spa-ntastic.... 😁I'm Sparbie girl, in Sparbie world.

Race C is another duplicate from this week.
I've actually lost hope in them. They are funneling people into Sport Mode, and then put in less effort than they ever have before?
Whatever. I'll be back when there's a ranked road car or tuner race. Tired of Gr.3 and Gr.4 ad nauseum. If I wanted that, I'd play ACC.
Exactly how I’ve been feeling towards the game. This week was the first time I’ve enter Daily C since May.I don't know when the last time was I did a Daily Race, like actually into it and trying. I want to say when it was Nurb Nord 24h layout back in May. So, three-ish months? I did want to do the Dayton RC in Gr3 but my rig was torn down so I missed it.
If Daily A is something cool like higher end sports cars (similar to the quali even for the GTWS Nations race maybe?!) I'll do some of those. If it's the Ambulance, I am out.
The Manu/Nations/Gazoo and TTs races are the only things keeping my interest... and I am using "keeping my interest" lightly.
Remember when Road Atlanta dropped and the following week's C was the Miata Touring Car there? That was so much fun. I don't know why they can't do something like that at least once a month, if not every other week.Exactly how I’ve been feeling towards the game. All I do now is mess about on offline mode for 30 mins, run the weekly time trials, enter any GTWS races and I’ll jump on to any open lobbies my friends are in.
Just wish PD would listen to people more and give us more of what we want.
I want a 30mins race, that has strategy or dynamic weather. Give us single car classes like a Porsche cup in the cayman Gr, or do the GTWS Scirocco race again, or an Audi cup in the R8 Gr3. I’d love to see some of the least used cars get some time.
