Personally I believe all that can hurt Polyphony is a boycott. Kie has replied to me on X and said yeah its his livelihood at stake- but as an example, Warthunder had an issue with its economy. Plus bots. But we as community simply stopped playing it, the creators had a small break/ vacation and it actually worked. They are busy changing and addressing all we as playerbase have issues with.
Its not major but my Driver rating went down from B to D. I am a daily player as well, but if it wasnt the race taking 10+ minutes or the game giving an error, it was because of hit and run drivers. Thankfully I am back at C rating but exclusively race in two communities in lobbies now.
Daily races are quite repetitive now anyhow- but really, why even bother.
The added cars over the last few updates, the lack of new tracks or endurance events, heck, its tiresome repeating the same complaints.
In 2024 Assetto Corsa 2 will launch, if Gran Turismo keeps on this trajectory I will only see it again once its stable. For the moment having simple old school races against a pretty okay AI and with interesting old race cars (60's F1 cars) is fine by me, on AC.
Why support a game which clearly has given up on itself and never listened when its players have begged for change?
