Is it possible they've changed the physics? I'm at least 2 seconds slower around Spa. I know I suck, but that seems excessive.
It definitely has changed as I have only just gotten used to driving gr3 again, my fave Porsche was undriveable for a while but since then I’m good back with it and also the supra is my new friend, never used to be able to drive it 😁

Update installed...

I've managed to go a tenth quicker in the Scirocco on A - it maybe feels more understeery but I'm not sure.

I tried the Supra on B again and it's still a rocket. Lap times about the same as before - a tenth slower, but optimal time is still quicker than my previous best. EDIT/ I did a race with the 458 and was more competetive than yesterday, and not losing out so much compared to the Supras and BMWs

I tried an SF car... And the FFB is still just about non-existent 😭 feels like there is no grip available, and I would find it impossible to race.

FFS people really need to learn to adapt to racing situations. I'm starting P2 or P3 but still get pushed out at the last sector by people not understanding that overtaking is hard / tricky in that section and that you cannot drive through the car in front.

It is a real bumper car fest this week. In almost every race I've done, only 12 people made the finish line. With me limping home at around P11, just about keeping from rage-quitting. I'm going to do something else with the rest of my day. The sun is still shining outside so that's nice 😅

I've just tried in the Supra and improved my lap by 4/10s

Some of that is a bit more practice and also I'm not very fast there anyways so way off the pace I'd normally aim for. This is post the BoP nerf for the Supra.

I'd say it was more about my QT being poor in the first place rather than any physics changes and that I'd left a lot on the table on previous sessions it appears.

I agree with you. I felt the same way in the races, some people don't know the braking points or try to overtake in impossible places.

I find the nerf of any car in the middle of a week where there's two event where that car can compete a lil unfair. I'll not be really able to "feel" such nerf unless the max speed at Kemmel will be lower than 274 km/h (whiteout toe from anyone). I'll check later. That said, is there any particular buff that PD made to other gr3 or gr4 cars? (imagining a nerf also for the Huracan, maybe)

my pedal settings changed after the update

my time with the supra is .6 slower

PD works in mysterious ways, I get the nerf on the Supra, it's manifesting in an odd way for me. The hesitancy to rev now is what is telling. Pre patch I could exit eau rouge at 160/162 on a really clean line. Not now.

But and I mean this after years of this crap now. Starting the back half on a chicane with auto drive in a weird place is really poor. I mean it's not a fun player experience nor is it realistic to gain control of your car at half throttle turning 90 degrees right/left. It's just not fun.

I imagine it's to curb congestion at T1 but why can't we start rolling up the hill?

And they shouldnt dev. anything special to this because the 24 hours "layout" is already in the game and you just start from there 🤷‍♂️
On that layout you start down the hill after La Source (dont know if its the same place you are pointing out?) and even the pit exit is safer in this layout because you avoid congestions at Eau Rouge.

We are talking exactly the same place.

It's just frustrating that it's available and yet...

Hopped into some Race A with the Scirocco and its 1:29.531 QT. The grids weren't full, but the racing was mostly clean and fun.

Race 1: Started P4. Gained a position. Lost that position. Finished P4.

Dropped my QT down to a 1:19.050.

Race 2: Started P5. There was some sloppiness from me and the other cars. Finished P5.

Dropped my QT down a bit more, to a 1:28.549, which turned out to be my wall for the day.

Race 3: Started P4. Struggled to keep up with the lead cars, but slowly pulled away from the pack behind. Finished P4.

Race 4: Started P4. Bonked a Scirocco while braking into the Andretti Hairpin on Lap 2, lost a position waiting for them to straighten out, and fell behind a bit. Finished P5.

Race 5: Started P2. Lead Scirocco inexplicably lets me by at the start of the race. Doesn't take long for them to get past. I then got swallowed up in traffic. Finished a frustrating P6.

Race 6: Started P3. I had no pace and quickly lost a few positions, but was able to get a couple back on the final lap after, um... I linked the video below. Finished P4.
