Don't expect too much. It might be a poor Nov update in anticipation of a bigger christmas/new year update ...
Yeah, not happening. They've had 7 months to listen to the community who aren't asking for much:
  • more events (allocate just one person to this and we'd get many events a month)
  • stable lobbies (this should be a high priority)
  • no more scapes (who the hell is asking for toy scapes)
  • a few tracks a year (to keep it fresh)
  • communication

In november I predict:
  • No communication
  • 4 new Tokyo events
  • No Mt Panorama events
  • A menu card asking you to buy a million dollar car and rewarding you with a 6 star ticket for parts I don't need
  • 3 cars: A BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, a VGT and a Volkswagen Up (non-GTI)
  • An FFB downgrade
  • Sell feature that allows you to sell only bought cars for 25% of the price, unless it's a Hagerty car, you can't sell those.

Sorry, PD has got me a bit negative and bitter the last few months.

3 Cars - one old, one VGT and one car that is already in the game, but a different color
2 menus and one extra menu
No new track
No new 500 000 cr. events
No sell option
Scapes from Moon, Mars, Sun and some black hole
And last but not least, more push into microtransactions

Ferrari-> FXXK EVO/ FXX/ F1-75 (thanks to the 75th anniversary)
Ferrari-> roma/ portofino/ 256/ 488 pista/ 812 superfast/ SF90/ Daytona
Lamborghini ->Sian/ murcielago SV/ all the aventadors/ Gallardo/ huracan STO
Lexus-> LFA
redesigned menus
selling option/ trading option

new tracks.

3 new cars, a couple of Extra Menu's, they'll fiddle with pp so you have to go into tuning and lower all your favourite cars by 1 bhp to comply, they'll break something (badly because they didn't seem to break anything this time) and we'll get at least one new Scapes.

I'm hoping for a good December update for Christmas but not holding my breath - holidays and not wanting to break anything they have to fix over Christmas will probably mean a really bland update then as well (though I think New Year is more of a party season in Japan - certainly used to be when I worked for a Japanese company)

One thing I forgot - the Hagerty's cars get a cumulative 10,000,000 Cr. more expensive. Yes, it's that time again.

Wait, did I say 10,000,000 Cr.? I meant 24,000,000 Cr. The first price jacking was a shade under 11,000,000 Cr., and the second was just under 17,000,000 Cr. Also, it will be the month PD breaches the 20,000,000 Cr. barrier, and not by a little.

Is this for sure? 24,000,000 Cr... the horror

Educated guess based on what PD did the first two times...along with sneaking in an additional increase on the Nissan R92CP between the time it was supposedly locked in at the end of August and its post-1.20 appearance in Hagerty's. This IS the prediction thread, after all.

5 cars this time - 3 GT3 already in the game but 2018 versions , 1 VGT, 1 random real car from the datamined list,
3 new scapes with track locations or roads that should be in the game as playable,
1 new menu book that pays 50.000 cr

Tomica Town is the coolest location for scapes and I'm willing to fight over it!
It's certainly at least got an atmosphere that is completely unlike any other scape in the game. There's only so much value in adding yet another scape in a pretty tourist location when there's so many of them already. I'm not particularly into Scapes at all, but if there was more weird stuff like this I'd be at least somewhat inclined to look into them after a few beers.
tokyo open world
Should honestly be it's own game to compete with Forza Horizon. It's unclear why Sony didn't want to do this when they still had Evo as a secondary racing game studio. Do they not like money?

I would assume that they're at least planning to release something biggish in early to mid December in order to push GT7 back into the news for the Christmas buying rush. But planning to do it doesn't mean that they're going to accomplish it, because Polyphony.

AI that now pushes you off even when you're in the pits!
3 more menu books that take about 1 hour to complete for minimal pay
A physics model that gets revised again
1 new track that has exactly 1 event made for it (I'm looking at you Interlagos)

New courses: Red Rock Valley, Road America, Pikes Peak, Seattle Circuit (all variations), Tokyo R246, El Capitan
Every model of the 3rd and 4th generation Pontiac Firebird.

.... just let me dream ok? :grumpy:
