No. More scapes!
Am I the only one hearing Zoidberg noises from the penguin at the end?

A turkey car with 8million BHP that you unlock by completing 1hr Spa race 356 times in a row. Without breaks.

Cars: Ford Pinto, Chevy Luv, Lancia Scorpion with light blue livery and an attitude. Ranger EV. Toyota Tacoma. All available from Auto Plus except the Ranger EV, which McKeel brags on for being the only NiMH model still in existence and asking 3 billionty twelve credits for.
New skin for Pinto with flames on the back.
New pickup truck races with the objective for collecting light trucks but you can only enter with an EV (how convenient).
New scapes on Jupiter (with a beautiful background for a Geo Storm you can't buy), Saturn (with an Ion), and Uranus.

It’ll be interesting to see if this November update is early again. No explanation for last month. Maybe they just want stuff ready for the World Finals. Or want an early December release to avoid Christmas and staff being out of office.

I think we’re very much overdue for new events at Monza and Mt. Panorama, as both of these venues only have a single event each.

Since the WEC races at the former, I could see there being a round of the Gr.1 Prototype Series there. As for Mt. Panorama, I’m still amazed there isn’t a WTC 700 or WTC 800 round there yet.

I also think Interlagos could use some new events. This could host a round for any of the three aforementioned events, too.

Otherwise, I predict at least three new cars, at least one new scape, at least one new Bonus Menu and at least one new Extra Menu, and new engine swaps. Other than that, I think it’s almost anybody’s guess, which I’d argue is part of the excitement.

A new venue would be very nice, too, especially for a circuit experience. I heard a rumor that Grand Valley is coming, but I’m skeptical. (Suzuka West when, PD?)

We more need ability of sell the whole game, they promised so much and gave nearly nothing.
Just like GT5 and GT6. I'm starting to regret buying a PS4 just to play this game. Even freaking Asphalt has better cars than GT.

I'm rejecting reality and substituting my own for this prediction:

Minolta Toyota 88CV
Peugeot 905 Evo I
Lancia LC2

A Group C Championship

Grand Valley

Let's get a little bit positive while trying to be realist:

More useless Scapes.
No new tracks or events.
3 new cars nobody asked for:

-SRT Challenger.
-Some Skyline/Miata, because PD still has a thing for those two, and we can't have updates without having trash cars on them.
-A Porsche. Pick one that isn't in the game already. It will be a good one.

Aaaaaand... maybe car selling.

I hear the SRT Challenger Demon was in the datamined list, as well as the NB and NC Roadsters. The Nismo 400R and '07 version of the GT-R are also in the list. (I really want the Nismo Skyline GT-R LM Road Going Version, too, but I didn't see it.) I think there was at least one Porsche in the list, too. Personally, I'd love to see the 959 and 914, but I unfortunately did not see either in the list. However, we cannot assume that just because a car was not in the datamined list that it's not getting worked on.

As for car selling, I'd prefer it not be as simple as it is in most racing games. I want it to be engaging in its own right.

I was thinking about those stats you see in Sport Mode, such as how many top 5 finishes you've got, or how many silver record finishes you've got for online time trials. Y'see, maybe instead of almost always renting cars for Sport Mode events, you could enter with a car from your garage, and for each time you get one of those stats with that car, it would notably increase the car's value if you eventually want to sell it. It's like how the Porsche 919 and Toyota GR010 are more expensive than the other Gr.1 cars from those brands because they won at the LM24 in different years. Whereas if you enter with a rented car, you won't get that bonus because the car wasn't yours to begin with.

Furthermore, even though the special parts are stated as not being for sale, I'd also have it so that if you install something like a Stroke Up S, an Ultra-High RPM Turbo, or a Weight Reduction Stage 5, that car will also go up in value.

This all could make a lot of business sense for PD/SCI, as it'd incentivize players to buy more of the cars in the game instead of just renting them. I know I'd do that, though I still would never buy any credits with my real-world money.

That is... actually a very nice group of ideas

But they make so much sense is impossible PD would ever consider them. :indiff: They are all in for the nonsense, it's been that way since the GT5 days.

It's a bit sad but I believe that the earlier updates are for Christmas indeed. Enough time to roll out the update and maybe fix some critical bugs a few days later.

Last night I had a wild dream about the November Update.
I read the update notes and my mind just blew up.
PD announced a collaboration with... Best Motoring! Some conversations at the cafe were added with Dorikin himself. And this was just the beginning...
There were no tracks nor scapes in this update, but there were these cars:
  • Mine's R34 N1
  • Amuse Supra A90
  • BBL R32
  • TRD 3000 GT
  • R32 Touring car
  • Sierra Cosworth RS500 Touring car
  • 2022 Supra SuperGT
  • 2022 Z SuperGT
  • Nismo Omori factory R34 CRS
  • Toyota GT One
  • Nissan R390 GT1
A new set of missions by Best Motoring, most of them 30 laps races at Tsukuba:
  • FF Type R battle
  • Supra vs. Skyline battle
  • RB26DETT battle
  • Tuner battle (for cars under the professionally tuned category)
  • Roaring VTECs (a NSX-only race at Suzuka)
  • AE86 battle
  • Evo vs. STi battle
  • Japan vs. Germany battle (10 laps around the Nordschleife for German and Japanese cars)
  • Drift battle
  • R34 vs. R35 battle

I was high as a kite on Hopium last night it seems...

One last guarantee - the Escudo will at least triple in price - it's been missing from Hagerty's since mid-August just like the F40 was missing for a month and a half before its near-doubling in price in May.

They’ll absolutely raise the price of the Escudo… unless it comes prior to mid-November.

Christmas isn't a big deal in Japan. It's not a public holiday. New Years is the big end of year holiday in Japan.

But Christmas is a big deal in a lot of the rest of the world and people buy a lot of product, so I'd imagine they'd be happy to kick the news cycle off in early to mid December to allow time for the marketing to influence people to purchase the game/console as gifts.

It’s going to be GT’s 25th anniversary, but I still doubt they’d do anything to commemorate the occasion.
