GT7 November Update Predictions

Ladies and gents! My predictions:

Since we’re heading into the dark season (in the northern hemisphere, at least), we’ll get scapes. Dark scapes. 1. Deep space. Way beyond the realms of light. 2. The Mariana Trench. 3. Caves. At night. (Nope! Not the Batcave)

It’s high time we got a new version of a track, and this time it will be the Nordschleife. The Holiday Seasons version! Every tree along the circuit is properly decorated. And yes, this is what has been keeping the track department busy the last year…

Carwise we are in for a proper treat. The Mazda MX-5 Colgate edition! It’s… urrr… white. With them prominent front teeth. And you will find paste and brush in the glove compartment, wich now, naturally, opens. Be sure to close it before driving, or you will be hampered by dental products flying around in the car.

The Extra Menus will bring a thrilling new feature. Parts collection! Collect the sports medium tires for the Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Touring Berlinetta, the Ferrari 250 GTO and the Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. Prize: A one star ticket (parts).

Missions will get the Let’s Do the Samba! An (this one goes to…) eleven chilli (this is due to the absurd difficulty of the drifting part) mission, celebrating the samba bus. BOP on, of course.

That’s all from Nosfedamus…

(Disclaimer. In case any of this senseless drivel should in any way come true: I am in no way connected to PD or Sony. And I would also like to offer my most profound apologies to the community. Please don’t ban me!)

PS! Maybe we could use the words of Phil?

I'll give you an update prediction: It's gonna be cold, it's gonna be grey, and it's gonna last you for the rest of your life.

...for Citroen.
oddly enough that would make me a very happy bunny - i only have 1 car left to collect and you guessed it, it's the Citroen invite car. Apart from the freebie invites we all got when they properly screwed up an update I've never seen one - never even appeared on the roulette never mind had a sniff of winning it...

Would like to get these 3 features:
  • Share Car setting, Car seeting can be shared the setting across community like livery, can be searchjed and downloaded&applied to the right model car.
  • Add the home button in the events, so we can one click back to home page.
  • Tuning and buy parts can be done in the race event before starting.
The last two ones are similar in the GT5/6.

This would be so cool. I would love it if they did this.

I’m predicting either no update for November because Sony wants the attention on God of War - Or maybe they’ll add a pit lane on the back straight of Northern Isle.

I think we have to get somekind of announcement at GTWC in November, like it can be a new track (please anything, but Grand Valley...we really need city circuits or more real-world tracks). Until then...

Probably this thing. Assuming PD isn't saving a GR86 for a more special occasion.

Dear god no...

Tired of this car

I was looking at the car list of FM6....

And this is where I can actually tell that polyphony as no car education.

Looking at the European car list of Turn 10 (bunch of uneducated americans... joke tbf), I'm really impress with their knowledge of car from the 80's and 90's

And I'm disappointed about polyphony lack of car education. Their car education is basically, we are Japanese... yeah we can tell.

Seriously, they brag about the new Toyota Supra... And have you heard about the Z4? That use the same motor?

Do we really need this much of GR86? Especially a Toyota and a Subaru? Not with the same PP even if it is the freaking same car?

But , but, without Toyota, GT wouldn’t exist…. Just saying.

Well, since this thread is still going, gonna ask it here. Are there any unavailable for public custom wheels in datamining? Like for example there's this Corvette with something similar to Work Ryver S003H, but the wheels can only be seen on a thumbnail, the actual car has stock wheels.

Other than engines, wonder if we get updated wheels and various parts before the end of this year. Could be a Thanksgiving feast or Christmas bonus.

I would expect to get any new wheels or other parts. New engines were in their "road map" and they keep adding it, but wheels or other parts weren't, and they didn't add any, so I don't think it's gonna change.

Probably a deal that went sour. Shame PD make their own wheels like they make up other parts.

Now, maybe another not on the radar.

I’m sure many of us would rather see updated GT3 & GT4 race cars, but this looks like what PD would add unexpectedly.

Most pointless additions considering how nearly impossible they are to get.

I would be a lot more into new GT Auto Parts and Wheels, since at least I can buy those whenever I want. And not rely on the 1 in 100 chance to get them over months of playtime.

I think we found a few of the cars that will have massive price increases at the end of the month based on their being skipped in the Hagerty's rotation:

  • 1998 Suzuki V6 Escudo Pikes Peak Special (last appeared 7/29, last sold out 8/11)
  • 1963 Ford Ford Roadster (last appeared 8/15, last sold out 8/25)
  • 1969 De Tomaso Mangusta (last appeared 8/17, last sold out 8/28; its evergreen Dior "twin" is currently 265,000 Cr. more expensive, or just over twice as expensive)
Edit - The Mangusta showed up on 11/7.

I would take being able to buy engine swaps over selling cars anyday, even if they were a million credits each thats only 2 races on one of the 3 big earners.More scapes, for me personally, are a pointless extra as are more duplicates, just increase payouts for all the races, maybe have a`mega`payout for a dozen or so tracks/races.Who knows what goes on inside the minds at pd..Eventually its going to be a chore to keep coming back to the game after every update to see whats changed, and be disappointed. 👍

november update will be the worst update

3 cars but 1 vgt and 2 dupes
no new tracks
"selling cars when"
some bugs

Update 1.07 is hard to surpass.

But I also have a huge feeling that this November update will be incredibly lackluster, and that the December one, since it's on the year's end, will have a "bit" more than usual, but in all likelyhood, nothing exceptional either.

If November gets skipped, I swear they better add two tracks at once in December. Otherwise, I genuinely don't know what PD are on.

We are a small minority of users on GTPlanet. GTPlanet has no real influence on Kaz's decision. Twitter may be more an influential play in anything they do for the user's. I use the word 'may' lightly. I would like to know where he frequents the most though. So we could throw tomatoes 'ahem' questions like "When will Requested Features and actual cars from GTPlanet fans come to the game ?"

Well, there's the instance of Midfield being added in GT6 after basically everyone on this site suggested it...

With GT5, 1 year, 3 weeks, 5 days after the game's launch, a big update with SpeedTest DLC and Route X was released with the 2.02 update.

Can we go by a similar cycle time though for any major update with GT7 ? We are only 8 months, 2 days into GT7 since it's release.

In GTS PD had a tendency to debut content in World Series events. Although everything was leaked prior to the live show!

Given the World Finals are Nov 24-27, I'm curious if PD will debut the new track (probably Grand Valley), at the event. As a preview to a December release. Or if the track will come in November.
