Hey guys I got the last lap to upload… The other videos are kinda long but they are in the works.. I will also upload the replay camera angles from the last lap.
@MroczMR

Unrelated, but could you share your damper tune? I’m curious to see if the 458 can be tamed with damper settings alone.

I need to figure this YouTube stuff out too!

If there's some demand for VR replays, I can chip in with a full race run from GT1 for those who are interested, running in the McLaren 650S. Didn't quite go to plan as I got taken out on lap 1 and then made a major mistake later on coming out of the pits, but such is the nature of the game. :)

If y'all are looking to watch some VR replays that's literally all I post on YT. I started saving them just so I could re-watch them or show them to friends/family etc., but some people have found them and watch them, so I decided to actually start adding titles and descriptions so they weren't just "GT7-003836455273" or something. Haha

I post unedited footage of the in car/VR and then the TV replays of the footage. Usually just casual play, or TT events.

Feel free to check out the channel if you like these, because it's almost all just GT7 PSVR2 replays.

Great :) Definately will watch them.

Here are some of mines: :D

You guys ever have psvr2 get stuck on cinematic mode? Dropped into atlanta and it borked to cine, rebooted everything a few times and had to bail for dinner. Im suspecting it’s either the, ‘play area,’ or the middle of the forehead, to see if your wearing it, sensor/camera. Im going to clean it all well tomorrow and hope for the best. Figured i’d post the question just in case i’ve done something simple.

One last thing, it happened around the time I’d accidentally triggered video recording. New wheel, the f1v2, lots of fun..but the button mapping is just roughed in and god knows what i hit when in vr. I was mash. Anyway, thanks if you have any answers..otherwise,🤞

Never had this to be honest.

It worked again after cleaning everything and resetting the play space. For whatever reason, it refused to invoke full vr. Kinda felt as if the front facing cameras wouldn’t engage, or didn’t recognize the area and the temp space thing noped as well. Now that im typing this, it occurs to me that my new wheel’s led’s may be cranked up, cause new, and the room being kinda dark, may have messed with things..possibly…
…just glad its not being a jerk anymore!

Guys I bit the bullet and bought PS VR2.

All I have to say is it really changes the way videogames are played.

Nothing quite experience of driving an LMP1 at the Norscheliefe I really felt like I was in a real racecar.

One thing after use I get is headaches and some dizziness.

I felt slightly weird/dizzy after first day playing it (a few 30 min sessions spread out). It then went away next session, and even when I had a month off a while back, I was fine when returning.

Nordschleife went from a track I dreaded/hated for years, just playing it when absolutely necessary to complete races in career, but never voluntarily choosing it beyond that... to a track I've played the most since getting vr. I'd say at least half, perhaps 3 quarters of my many hours in gt7 in vr2 have involved the track.

To me, in vr, feels like you're able to use more of your senses that are used in real driving, rather than making allowances for playing a game. Easier to judge turns, depth of them, where the car is positioned, spatial awareness etc. Much more carry over of real skills/senses.

Also, I think vr2 gets better after initial adjustment period. I feel like I could drive for hours and hours each day in it, and this is after using it most days since vr2 was released. Just doesn;t get old for me, regardless of the negative things people raise about the game. Driving experience feels so good/immersive.

I have FM8, Crew Motorfest and ACC installed, but can't bring myself to play them as it's not VR.

Yes, we all like that feeling of racing for real 🙂

The headaches should go once you get used to the headset, although loosening up the head clamp a bit can help, and personally, I always get a headache after racing for two hours or more. But it’s a price worth paying, and it only lasts for a couple of minutes once you take the headset off.

Yeah I found you can loosen it a fair bit without it sliding about/off. Takes pressure off nose area too. Plus rear part can/should? sit farely low down.

Great to hear of your purchase!

I bought the Sony Pulse headphones after reading that a VR2 user had success with finding the 'elusive' sweet spot after fitting the phones over the top of the VR2

It made little sense to me, but heck, it worked! Seems that placing the earcups directly over the ears (d'oh!) provides the perfect positioning of the VR2 headset. First, though, make sure the back part of the VR2 frame is down below the bony ridge at the back of your skull.

Re sickness, I agree with all that has been said, but would add that having a fan blow air into your face greatly improves things, and also chewing a couple of pieces of ginger.

I can put the VR2 on and ready to go in less than a minute now, whereas it took me up to 5 minutes early on. Be persistent, it's worth it!

Good point re headphones. I use Mezes Classics and they probably assist with slight clamping effect - they are farily large and I thought they wouldnt fit at first, but they did click into place nicely.

I usually always click PS button, go into vr settings and check lens allignment each time too.

I also usually play naked as the day I was born, apart from driving boots gloves and headset. Sometimes with crocodile clips attached to my nipples/car battery, to give me a 'zap' and maintain focus if tired ;) :D

I'm excited because tommorow the Globular Cluster CMP2 will be delivered. I hope it'll solve the inconveniece and my forehead won't be covered in sweat anymore...

I took a brake with PSVR2 for a week, and first combo tommorow will be 787B + Nordschleife!
Talk about hitting the ground running! Well done, lad.

Thanks; you’ve put a picture in my head now, and I can’t 'un-see' it! 😳😱

I got no mans sky and first time i got dizzy and felt like puking was when i started flying around in the space ship.

When aces of thunder comes out im pretty sure that game is gonna make me puke

With the new 'huge' update I'm hoping for some way to show yellow flag warnings in the HUD.

Numerous times now in the Spa 1-hour race, and Le Mans 700pp 30 minute race I've not been aware of yellow flags being out, as there are places on the tracks which don't have marshals waving flags or lights.

I've lost clean race bonus a number of times.

Grrr ...

I downloaded Project Wingman the other day just to see how I did on its VR flight missions. I don’t suffer motion sickness in anything and have no issues on GT7, but I thought a flying game might do it. But nope, had no issues, so really looking forward to Aces of Thunder. Just wish it was a modern jet game and not old prop planes LOL

I’ve played a ton of VR on quest 2 and psvr2. Hundreds of hours in tons of games. No Man’s Sky VR straight up sucks for UI jank and discomfort, huge disappointment as I’ve played a ton of NMS. Even with the recent graphics update.

I had light motion sickness when I started with the quest 2. It went away very quickly for me and I can do anything in VR now without discomfort without using any comfort settings (vignette etc) for hours at a time.
