GT7 Tuning Calculator - Download v3.3 all new cars added!!

lol. So I did it, I raised the frequency hardness to get within the parameters. At the moment I don't want to add weight to it, I want to see if it is capable of turning well with adjustments. If not I will add weight

Merry Christmas to you all!

Just wanted to check in and say I am looking to tweak the calculator in terms of tyre wear settings. At the moment the tyre wear selector is only low/moderate/high.

I want to change this to the same as the game settings x1, x2 etc…

I also want to add downforce calculation into the tyre wear selector.

Does anyone have any other tweak that they think should be added to the tyre wear setups? Springs, dampers, LSD etc?

More research suggests that your setup is not going to do much for tyre wear only camber and toe are really a factor. Downforce obviously has a major part to play, more downforce = more grip and less slippage. It’s more the driving style that will affect tyre wear.

Please release the ios application as soon as possible so that it is easy to use and open anytime and anywhere. Also, we need the latest version of video guidance. The previous version is too different from the current version. It is best to have application video guidance. Also, man, this thing you designed is great

Hi, i'm all new to this whole Tuning Topic. I try to dig me in to this at the moment and your Calculator helps me realy much. Thank you.

I found a smal Problem i ran into, but i'm not shure how to handle, I dont know if this can be added to your Formulas.
Today i tried to Tune the RS5 DTM and the Spring Rate from the Calculation is 0.3 lower than the lowest Value in the Game.
Should i just stick with the lowes possible Value or do i need to adjust the other Values around it?

Maybe there is a Way to give the calculalation a defined Limit of a Value if its out of the Range in Game?

Increase stiffness on the calculator.

I am so blind... It's even in the description...
I'm sorry for that stupid question :banghead:

In the risk to ask a stupid question again,
Is there somthing similar for Cars with fixed Camber Angle?

Not sure what you mean? What cars have fixed camber angle?

The Ride High and Camber Angle of the BMW VGT is Fixed.
I saw it somewhere else but i cant find it.
Some VGT Cars have weird restricted settings sometimes.
I just wanted to ask if there is something i can do in the Calculator.
If not, I fiddle a bit arround by myself

Ahh I see, not much can be done with that. You just need to find the the right hardness of springs and roll bars to suit the camber.

Is there an option to calculate based on BOP, where GT7 gives you everything fixed but antiroll to natural camber are adjustable? Im having a hard time with my f458 italia gt3 in bathurst for the manufacturers Series. ive bought your calcuklator allready but dont know how to get the parameters to match negativ camber angle and toe angle

You don’t need to match the camber or toe angles that are fixed, if all you need is the roll bar, springs and dampers are adjustable then just input the figures on the left of the screen (weight, ride height, downforce, stability and G force) then enter whatever figures you can adjust.

Tweak them using the corner entry/exit selectors, along with the mid corner over/understeer selector.

If you need any more help, I will be happy to help, let me know.

First of all, I have to thank you for putting out such a great tuning sheet. Definitely worth the money paid for it. I'm currently running in a SCCA style league where there are restrictions on weight, HP, and PP. On one of the tracks we are running, the slowest speed corner can be taken in second gear instead of first. The issue that I'm having whether I manually input the gear ratios or calculate them is that the gearing is out of range, especially in first gear.

I have thought about adding in another option to select what gear the lowest speed corner is using. However for now if you look at the shift point graph you will be able to see what speed the second gear has its peak Tractive force. Use this as a guide and move the lowest speed for 1st gear to to make the second gear the correct speed.

It’s coming together nicely, I can’t can’t say exactly a release date yet.

With the web app looming on the horizon I am reluctant to add new features or tweak the calculator. But the comment that @n10secapricorn mentioned has prompted me to add this feature in. I have also tweaked some of the other areas to give better results, LSD settings being the largest and a small tweak to the camber alignment.

Expect an update from me in the next day or two.

Hello there excellent app, for someone who has played GT for some time I am terrible at tuning. Quick question does this only work with fully customisable suspension, or does it work for height-adjustable sports , as this is what we use in our sim leagues?

This will work with height adjustable as well. Any issues give me a shout and I will help you through.

Screen shot the problem and I can advise

Lowest i can go on compression is 33 and damping is 43
