I respectfully disagree. The single ability to tweak a car is definitely a great thing, although it is not enough to make it superior over a game that has better physics, better car tuning, waaaaay more content, better FFB, better AI, no MTX, variety in its singleplayer content, perfectly scalable difficulty, mods, and complete freedom to complete it in any way you see fit.

GT7 is the most linear, frustrating game, with some of the most ridiculous design choices I have ever seen grace any game, let alone a driving game. It takes the crown there.

I kind of agree that ac has much more to offer in content, pretty much any car you want, and you can actully upgrade cars by Edit its data files even more so than you can in gt or forza, i find ac more enjoyable at the moment recently bought it and have over 2000 cars downloaded,

will get srp becouse its one of best mods for assetto corsa, with stuff like that you barely don’t need a forza horizon, you can’t customize cars through in ac like widebodies front splitters etc, that needs to be created when modders create the cars, hopefully that something ac2 improve on, their is talk about ac2 featuring garage and take care of your cars witch would be Nice feature,
Career mode is not the best in gt7 but it has more of it than ac witch are one of weakpoins in ac, but their is mods for it, but it won’t feelnthe same in sense of progression as you already can drive any car and can’t buy them, maybe the gran turismo mod will be super once it fully released to ac, assetto corsa is still a masterpiece in my opinion, the best racing game overall, its still gets tone of new content despite being almost 10 years old,
It has been huge sucess the most popular sim ever created for a reason, but that only apply if you play on pc,
On console i rather play gt7 than ac

I just noticed this:
McLaren MP4/4 '88 (Purchasable at 'Legend Cars' from 26 August);
Pontiac GTO 'The Judge' '69 (Purchasable at 'Legend Cars' from 26 August);
Well, there it go for anyone wondering if the MP4/4 would be at Brand Central or LCD.
I hope we can edit liveries for it 😬

Dior Mangusta is 500,000 Cr. and the Cayman GT4 is 130,000 Cr.

Physics definitely feel different for me. More lively in the rear on exit, like the original physics, but losing grip much much more gradually instead of instantly. Perhaps too gradually, but as a controller player I'm not complaining.

The update pace for this game is so stagnant. And one of the cars is already there, but now has a road car interior. Don't work yourselves too hard, PD.

Yikes. The miniscule payout aside (consider that the WTC600 and Rally Challenge are end game events only available after watching the ending credits), am I seeing it right that the event with rally cars doesn't even take place on the rallycross layout?
No, that race is on the Rallycross track.

Well that's disappointing. 3 new track layouts, only 4 new races that pay peanuts.

I think I'm officially done with this game, it's just a waste of my time updating it each month hoping to get a decent single player content update, something that wouldn't cost PD anything beyond their staffs working wages and normal operating costs to add.

It is such a shame that they've screwed long time players over with false promises prior to GT7's launch. Some of what they have is good, the wide bodies on most cars for example, but it's just boring now.

Did they change something about tire wear? I’m on lap 4 if my daily Spa grind and my tires are almost gone already.
1. Physics Simulation Model

- Adjusted the suspension geometry;

- Adjusted the simulation for tyre heat generation and wear ratio. This adjustment makes it easier to see the remaining tread;

- Altered the simulation of the differential gear (with a Fully Customisable LSD). As a result, it's now more effective when decelerating and provides a much smoother driving performance;

- Adjusted the Performance Points (PP) of some cars;

- Changed the conditions for mechanical damage occurring from a collision or contact if 'Mechanical Damage' is set to ‘Light’ or Heavy’ in the race settings.
What tires are you on ?
