Let's talk about LSC.

Many players, including me, are quite indecisive when it comes to visual customization of their cars, especially in the case of paint jobs. The only exception to this is if one desires for a car to have a specific real-life counterpart, such as making a Bullet look like a GT40. However, we get penalized for being indecisive in that there is no "shopping cart" system to allow us to try certain colors without having to pay for every single one. Consequently, it is impossible to try out primary + secondary color combos without paying at least once. Add to that the relatively obscene price of certain paint jobs and we have an integral part of R*'s shark card scheme, which strives to deprive players of money at every opportunity (insurance fees for armored and weaponized vehicles being another obvious indication of this).

If R* ever manage to look beyond milking bank accounts, I'd be much happier with an update featuring quality-of-life changes, e.g. a shopping cart system for mod shops, rather than a major DLC. That's probably just wishful thinking though... :indiff:

I think it's @leeislee that wrote that the cash didn't get deducted from your account until you leave LSC. So that if you close the game when you've found the pains you want, and the start it again, you'll have all your cash left and can go paint the car in those colours

Really? Even though I can see the cash explicitly being withdrawn on the top right? That's very nice to know then.

I think this is new.

There are now 2 options in the Interaction menu>Style for putting your hood up/down and for opening/closing your coat/jacket.
Seems not all hoodies and jackets are suitable for this option though.

Yup. Brand new. It was mentioned somewhere in the latest change log.

🤬 now I can't make fun of @leeislee

"We gotta sell these crates to make profit
Cocaine Lockup deliveries
We gotta move these exotic cars
We gotta move these guns and ammo"

Also it turns out I can't open my favorite jacket. Good job R*. /s

I haven't tried it personally, and it could've been changed with the latest update. Just try it out with a licenseplate or something else that's cheap first to make sure

Also not compatible with all the hair styles either.

Got the MOC :D I tried it out with a friend and I gotta say, just the badass value of being driven around in a luxurious trailer while shooting at everything at moves with near impunity was worth $2 million.

Now if only I could put white wall dollar wheels on it

The MOC takes exactly 33 hits from the Buzzard's rockets to be destroyed, upon which it despawns around you and respawns back in your bunker automatically. This left the occupants standing on the spot from which the MOC despawned, but @ExoSphere64, myself and Slaney were all on the same CEO group so we were unharmed despite the destruction of the MOC. I would assume, but have not verified; that under normal circumstances where the MOC is destroyed by an unfriendly the occupants would perish.

Been on vacation all this week, probably haven't played since last Wednesday or Thursday. Crossing my fingers I get at least $500k.

Not like it help with purchases a whole helluva lot.

Incorrect. Tested with other GTP'ers in separate organisations. No insurance fee either.

Thanks for checking. 👍

I did not state it as fact, per my original statement below because it was untested and I wanted to be safe and not cause anyone harm with misinformation. My apologies if it was interpreted that way, I tried to be as clear as possible. I will do my best to be clearer in future posts as to not cause anyone undue confusion.

I figured that I should allocate staff in my bunker for research because I'm not earning much money at the moment. If I can sell weapons of a higher value, it may be worth the effort.
