I'd just like to point out that I've apparently received a "personalized offer": discounts on heavy duty vehicles, more specifically 35% off on the Rhino and 25% off on the DoD.

It's not that I don't appreciate it, but, considering I already have a tank as that was one of the first things I saved up to (as I imagine is the case for most people) and I'm a returning player and thus gets the DoD for free anyway..

Oh well. It's running until Monday, so bets are on either the Ardent or Nightshark (most likely, was listed before the Ardent on that leaked release-order thingy) coming on Tuesday.

Wait, that means they should reimburse us for that Free thing again :P

It's always the high level players who can't take it when you dish out some of their own type of play.

They're the first to vote to kick, messaging others to vote to kick too. When they can't kill you, no matter how many of them try it's the same old story.

Ghost mode, bounty, fail, off radar, fail etc etc until the vote to kicks start.

I remember one of my friends got someone messaging him to kick a guy we're friends with so he replied with "but he's my friend" and then vote kicked him. It was also (unluckily for that guy) one of the days my crew had the majority of the lobby so he got bounced by us vote kicking him out.

WTF.....What the actual F@#k!???!!!

While I was AFK all my stock was stolen......600k gone

All those supply runs wasted. Rightly or wrongly, Life, actual hours of my life spent on this f@#k over of a game. WTF!!!!! Dick move R*

No need for that at all.

This is your bunker right?

Raids can only trigger if you have more than $350,000 in stock. Sell your stock before then and you'll be fine.

Someone found an interesting trick on getting a deal on fast tracking bunker research.

  • Set your bunker staff to focus on research.
  • Come back when bar is nearly full.
  • Before the research finishes, fast track it for I think 45k, BUT don't confirm it.
  • Wait in that menu until your research is complete and starts the next one.
  • Confirm your fast track.
Don't know if it doesn't work anymore, feel free to try.

Who wants to bet R* will patch rubber banding?

I bet no, but I would be so down with it.

Good info on the raid prerequisite. Not good on what happened to Lee. If I'm around and you need supplies just drop me a message and I can help you resupply, doubling your pickup take to try and catch back up.

I've done a couple of product runs now, but I've kept it below $175k in sale value to maintain single vehicle sales deliveries. While on the topic, purchasing 1 full load of supplies for the bunker will net you $140k(as indicated on screen, before the 1.5 LS multiplier) and doing one steal mission solo will bump that up to $168k. That is exactly 1 stock unit below the $175k single-vehicle sales limit. Selling at this point will produce $252k in gross sales sold long to Los Santos. This is my recommended solo bunker method for those who are doing so.

As well, there is a 'glitch' out there that will temporarily make your purchased supplies disappear. This typically occurs when you purchase supplies just prior to sale(which is probably what most players do.) Upon completion of the sale you will still receive your "Purchase supplies have been delivered but we are going to lie to you and say you should've stolen them because we prefer you to SUFFER FOR YOUR SINS YOU STUPID CONSUMER!" However, your supply bar may still be empty, and because the system will allow you to re-purchase supplies this causes many players alarm. Simply drop offline and when you return online your supplies should appear. There is also a glitch that suspends your bunker production randomly, but only seems to occur just after a resupply. As such, after a resupply/sale I tend to stop back in the bunker quickly(walk in, then turn around and walk out) which prevents production from being halted. This too, seems random and without a precise trigger.

I do not think they will be able to patch rubber banding, and it would be difficult to patch some of the other idle kick prevention methods.

Thanks for the offer @Marcus Garvey but for the time being I've closed the business down. I'm too annoyed to do anymore supply runs. I'll stick to I/E for a while.

I should have asked more questions and done more research regarding raids etc. Still, R* could have set the raids to take a portion of my supplies. Taking them all is overkill and a really cheap move IMO.

How else will they get you to buy shark cards.

If R* was gonna hypothetically patch anything, I prefer it be related to the robot like accuracy the AI have shooting from choppers on I/E jobs.

Two occasions involving the dreaded off shore steal go like this,

  • Do job as normal and get car to the shore.
  • Buzzards spawn and I dump the car on land safely.
  • Land chopper and attempt to down them.
  • Get dropped instantly by the Miniguns which apparently they can aim without having to angle the chopper accordingly. :irked:
  • Respawn and instantly I'm getting shot at by the co-pilots, no spawn protection or brief break by the AI.:banghead:
  • Either take them down or get mown down again(repeat steps 4-6 if killed.)
  • Get in car and bolt it to the road, second wave spawn in.
  • Co-pilots then start shooting and hitting me, in a fast moving car, from quite aways back with a one handed weapon and occasionally with the miniguns to really get the blood boiling.
  • Get back to warehouse, pay repair bill and swear profusely. 🤬
  • Rinse and repeat each time a I/E job involves an enemy chopper.
But next time it happens, I'll take a short drive over to the Maryweather base from my dockyard warehouse and express some good old fashioned rage against those roided up, pains in our backsides and for once, I'll do it with an honest to god smile on my face. :mischievous:

That last bit may sound abit crazy, but I'm pretty sure a few of us can attest to how frustrating the AI can be sometimes. :)

Had this happen yesterday. You can just switch sessions and it'll show your supplies properly again.

Certainly understandable. I tend to go through periods of grinding, which are often brought to a halt when I forget to disband my MC and experience the insta-raid. I usually shrug it off and go play on the tug boat or something at that point and then a few weeks later when I feel like re-upping my account I'll reopen it.

The offer stands if/when you decide to reopen shop, and is transferable to other business endeavours.

Sooooo sources are telling me (and I can't verify right now as I'm a few hundred kilometers away from GTA) that the Cheetah Classic is available now.

In which case, I have to slaughter my bank account yet again.

Also +1 on that Supplies bug. I would just find a new session and all that but an MTU of 576 sort of means I have at best a 10% chance of finding one.

That it is. $865,000

I'm probably not going to get it until it either discounts, or if I can get my bearings in gunrunning expenditure control.

My eyes (and ears) are on the XA-21.

Spoiler alert: the Cheetah (thus far) is money well spent, being bang-on the pace in the Sports Classic Class, only about 1/3 seconds off the Turismo

I feel like it's got slightly less top speed, but I don't really have a history of being right about these predictions, soo..
