Whoever I managed to hit in that race, sorry. I decided to troll my co-driver and it may have resulted in a head-on collision.

Shows how much I've actually cared for the metal paints.

I'd like to make a quick note about the Creator, because it's a bit weird. I know places like the Mission Row police station is unlocked (if you enter the Creator from story mode, at least) while you're in the Creator doing Creator things. As that is open in story mode, I sort of assumed the Creator just used the map from regular GTA V.

What I didn't realise was that it's basically an Open All Interiors mod, in that any section normally "inaccessible" (i.e. the little entry ways to the garages, the foyers of high end apartments like the Eclipse Towers) are actually open, some obviously being more interesting than the others. Of particular note is the parking complex in Del Perro, which is completely open from the north side.

From left to right: Maze Bank Office garage entrance, Eclipse Towers garage entrance, Eclipse Towers entrance, parking complex in Del Perro.

I'm amazed they bothered to go this much into detail with some of these places, considering they're not really used in normal gameplay and could've easily been left out entirely.

I wanted one of my car's to have a brushed aluminium look hence my recent interest in the metals.

And thanks to you guys my wish was granted. My standard voltic looks great in aluminium.

One a separate note, how many times do I have to drive out of my office garage and go to LSC before I remember I actually have the office custom shop?..... Idiot!

So the HVY Nightshark...

Turns it out can bring out the more chaotic/evil side of me quite easily. :mischievous:

Took a little inspiration from the bonkers car manufacturer DARTZ in the visual design(just finished it in gold metal with black secondary colour with a livery on it.) and plated it with armour all round for good measure.

It's like a mini Insurgent as it'll still bully the majority of vehicles off the road, which ended up being bad news for one 2 man MC club on 2 occasions.(more on that later.:sly:)

But for something this bulky looking and supposedly heavy, it handles like it was a featherweight, it's just uncanny how it grips, stops and goes.

Now while the window plates limit me to only the not to brilliant front mounted machine guns, I still managed to raise some hell with it against quite a few people, starting with that MC Club.

Both times were on the coastal road from LS to the Paleto Bay Bunker, first time was a normal delivery van which I had been bugging since they picked it up.

I spent a good minute or 2 riding its bumper and spraying it with the machine guns and I decided that this wasn't working so a new plan was needed, so I decided to sink it with some brute force. :mischievous:

Just after Fort Zancudo, I bullied the van onto the beach and towards the water, it put up a fight, but after the driver caught a round from the guns, I bulldozed it into the sea.

Later on I noticed they were at the Police station near the LS Pier with quite afew cops around, A quick check of my GTA memory gave me strong evidence that they were there for gunrunning supplies which would be in a big heavy SWAT van.

Sure enough, one bolts it for the coastal road and I give chase and I see it is in fact the SWAT van.

Ok I thought, This will be a challenge to take down, but in the right situation not impossible. ;)

At first I was duelling with him and spinning him out with heavy PIT attacks, but doing nothing major to the Van.

At one of the small bridges shortly before the long bridge through Fort Zancudo I grinded him against the fence and he went over, not in to the water, but into a small gully which goes under the bridge into the water.

So I drop down and go about pushing him down further, but it being a heavier target it put up more of a fight and to his credit he almost got free...

But I got traction and pushed back him back down and as soon as he started bouncing about, he was history and after one more shove to ensure the engine got a nice gulp of water and I was out of there like a bat out of hell.

It then went on to raise hell with me while during an Executive Search, A big golden/camo'd armoured car being the perfect decoy for would-be hitmen, only died twice and they still couldn't destroy the damn thing while I respawned.

(Some smaller GTA Youtubers found out its somehow stronger against RPG's with someone inside it rather than it being unoccupied. :dunce:)

So in summary..

  • It's crazy agile for what it is
  • It's well protected at the front and back, (Side window covers are supposedly not resistant to bullets.) especially if you utilise the ability to duck your head properly.
  • Impressive Off road and climbing abilities
  • Can still bully other cars quite easily like it's bigger brother.
It's not flawless, but it's a damn good machine even if you don't use the machine guns and if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up. :)👍

Also I realise that this review/story might give some of you the wrong impression of me on GTA, but I'd consider this a cheat day in comparison to helping others and getting money for myself all the time. :P

Just unshackle me from having to grind, hand me a RPG, an new armoured SUV and one objective...

"Go Nuts for today"

GOLD.

ARMORED.

KURUMA.

You know you want it.

Inspired by me trolling my co-driver, I have also just added some form of orienteering to the list of things I want to do at some point.
My one is gold and pink, raises eyebrows but too many people have all black, I actually want people to see what they can't touch.

I put not futo in aluminium, looks pretty decent.

There is a few vehicles like that, the dukes of death is something like 3 times as strong to missiles with an occupant. Crazy.

So Broughy's just uploaded a video giving his view (but no specific times or speeds) on the XA-21 which releases sometime this millenia.

TL;DR much like how the Bunker is Biker Business 2.0 and I/E is Crates 2.0, this is Tempesta 2.0 - very good in the corners, but the top speed leaves something to be desired. Could very well take top spot on the track (according to the video timer, we are indeed looking at somewhere around 1:00-1:01), but not a good all-rounder and not worth selling other cars for.

..again, I'm buying it regardless of where it actually ends up, but it's interesting to think that the Super class is - and will remain for the foreseeable future - basically divided into cars that perform well in the corners, cars that perform well on the straights and the X80 Proto/Nero Custom.

Since when did GTA V turn into NFS Carbon?

So I'm pretty certain I've come across a left-over of the shoot-a-plane-down-and-get-up-to-30k event:

Grand Theft Auto V_20170810133634.jpg

Let's look at the evidence:
  • It's a Cuban 800
  • It's following one of said shoot-plane-downs flight paths
  • NPC controlled planes generally don't happen in Online
Prove me wrong, but that's the explanation I'm going with.

Those types of things are some that folks begin to notice when you slow down a bit and enjoy the scenery.

There are a lot of NPC aircraft, ranging from the Froggers that linger between Marina Del Rey and Bunker Hill to Mammatus pilots running North or East over the Santa Monica mountains, East from Paleto out to sea, or even landing at Roys/Amboy. NPC pilots have appeared in the Mammatus, Dodo, Cuban, even the Luxor. I'm certain I'm forgetting others.

Cyclists of various types also appear in several places. BMXers often meet with their VW Bus at a trailhead into Griffith park just north of Lake Hollywood, and can also be found near the various skateparks round the city. Road Bikers can be found on Rte 66 just west of LSC between the two convenience stores, as well as the turnout near Ventura/Point Mugu base overlooking Mugu Lagoon and along the PCH. Mountain bikes are found regularly at Palm Springs Tramway, another trailhead near Griffith Park, and riding along the trails near San Jacinto. As above I'm certain there are others I'm not recalling at this moment.

One of the oddball NPCs I look for are those towing a Toro on a trailer. Always fun to take that off on holiday.

..ok, slight rephrase, NPC aircrafts do exist, but perhaps not usually in that particular aircraft on that particular flight path. At least I can't say I've come across them at that point.

Then again, I'm not Marcus. I'd like to think I'm doing a better job of noticing these things than regular GTA players, but ^this guy^ is on a whole other level. When's that guided tour going to happen?
praise lord marcus.
