So the HVY Nightshark...
Turns it out can bring out the more chaotic/evil side of me quite easily.
Took a little inspiration from the bonkers car manufacturer DARTZ in the visual design(just finished it in gold metal with black secondary colour with a livery on it.
) and plated it with armour all round for good measure.
It's like a mini Insurgent as it'll still bully the majority of vehicles off the road, which ended up being bad news for one 2 man MC club on 2 occasions.(more on that later.
)
But for something this bulky looking and supposedly heavy, it handles like it was a featherweight, it's just uncanny how it grips, stops and goes.
Now while the window plates limit me to only the not to brilliant front mounted machine guns, I still managed to raise some hell with it against quite a few people, starting with that MC Club.
Both times were on the coastal road from LS to the Paleto Bay Bunker, first time was a normal delivery van which I had been bugging since they picked it up.
I spent a good minute or 2 riding its bumper and spraying it with the machine guns and I decided that this wasn't working so a new plan was needed, so I decided to sink it with some brute force.
Just after Fort Zancudo, I bullied the van onto the beach and towards the water, it put up a fight, but after the driver caught a round from the guns, I bulldozed it into the sea.
Later on I noticed they were at the Police station near the LS Pier with quite afew cops around, A quick check of my GTA memory gave me strong evidence that they were there for gunrunning supplies which would be in a big heavy SWAT van.
Sure enough, one bolts it for the coastal road and I give chase and I see it is in fact the SWAT van.
Ok I thought, This will be a challenge to take down, but in the right situation not impossible.
At first I was duelling with him and spinning him out with heavy PIT attacks, but doing nothing major to the Van.
At one of the small bridges shortly before the long bridge through Fort Zancudo I grinded him against the fence and he went over, not in to the water, but into a small gully which goes under the bridge into the water.
So I drop down and go about pushing him down further, but it being a heavier target it put up more of a fight and to his credit he almost got free...
But I got traction and pushed back him back down and as soon as he started bouncing about, he was history and after one more shove to ensure the engine got a nice gulp of water and I was out of there like a bat out of hell.
It then went on to raise hell with me while during an Executive Search, A big golden/camo'd armoured car being the perfect decoy for would-be hitmen, only died twice and they still couldn't destroy the damn thing while I respawned.
(Some smaller GTA Youtubers found out its somehow stronger against RPG's with someone inside it rather than it being unoccupied.
)
So in summary..
- It's crazy agile for what it is
- It's well protected at the front and back, (Side window covers are supposedly not resistant to bullets.) especially if you utilise the ability to duck your head properly.
- Impressive Off road and climbing abilities
- Can still bully other cars quite easily like it's bigger brother.
It's not flawless, but it's a damn good machine even if you don't use the machine guns and if you have the means, I highly recommend picking one up.
👍
Also I realise that this review/story might give some of you the wrong impression of me on GTA, but I'd consider this a cheat day in comparison to helping others and getting money for myself all the time.
Just unshackle me from having to grind, hand me a RPG, an new armoured SUV and one objective...
