I'm no expert on currency, especially ones "across thr pond", but from a very bare bone Google search, 27,000 euros is the average income for a full-time employee in the UK. Like I said, it's bare bones.

Converting that to US dollars roughly comes out to $31,000, hardly considered a well off, dare I say easy lifestyle to live on, over here at least. I highly doubt he's over there "rolling in it."

Who says he's "rolling in it"? Add donations, ads, sponsors and subscriptions and I'm sure he's doing well enough that it pays his bills.

??? I'm not saying using recording equipment is bad, I'm saying he benefits from it much, much more than he benefits from any shark cards.

A. How is that relevant?

B. If he genuinely dislikes shark cards and his business is not dependent on them, why does he keep using them?

C. I bet that he would have less than a quarter of his followers if he didn't use shark cards. His most popular videos (by far) are the car test videos, which takes a lot of game credits to do. Even if some of his audience likes his other videos as well, it's reasonable to assume that many (or even most) of them found him through these car tests.

So yesterday while I was doing act II, I decided to see if the heavy utility vests still work during the doomsday heist and sadly it seems Rockstar took away the effect to where you get extra health but walk slower when you put on the vest.

Well this sucks, especially considering the doomsday heists are harder than the original heists. Not that a extra bit of challenge is unnecessary.

I'm having great fun with the Akula in stealth mode (off radar). I just un-cloak next to someone with a bounty, destroy them then shoot off un-detected.

It's strange that the position lights stay on while stealth mode is active. I wonder if they'll patch that.

Positively surprised by this update so far, the missions of the new heist I played so far worked quite good after randoms got their **** together and didn‘t leave on the way to the vehicles drop-off after finishing all the missions objectives (sorry for wasting your time @driftinziggy)
However I don‘t see a point in adding even more (unrealistic) vehicles with guns or rockets attached but I guess it‘s the easiest way to make players believe 4 millions are well spent money on a car that can hover, fly and shoot missiles. Personally I‘d rather see the game get back to a less pvp-war kind of thing.
All good, mate.

The double-action revolver is starting to show up in loading screens. I’m thinking it’ll probably be released in the next week or so.

Another revolver?

So we’ll have both the heavy revolver and its mk2 counterpart and this as well?

Colour me slightly excited :P

“You’re pretty good.”

It’s unlocked via a treasure hunt, so check your email in-game.

Its already in the game. Once you get the treasure hunt email follow the instructions and you get it. Headshot 50 AI civilians/enemies or cops to unlock it in RDR2.

Just got done helping a fellow crew member complete the Doomsday Heist acts 2 and 3 and my god, it’s a challenge.

The Final heist is very easily the toughest mission I’ve help complete in GTA5, 2 guys, hard difficulty and dwindling armour and snacks.

It’s the sorta challenge that makes you knuckle down and tough it out, no mics yet we had an unspoken agreement, we ain’t letting this challenge beat us, no matter how long it takes.

I ended up clutching the hacking section with about a minute left on the clock and I enjoyed ending this heist.

Sure in the time it took us to polish off act 2 and go through act 3 I could’ve made a lot more cash via Bunker and I&E work, but the satisfaction of knocking out this heist is ten fold over doing that. :P

Started the session with 50k, got the new revolver, did 50 headshots, got the cash bonus and went and helped my crew member out and now i’m sitting on just over a million dollars.
👍

Best part? It’ll be my turn to lead next time and we’ll be running it again.

I completed that treasure hunt for the Double Action Revolver, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. There wasn't any catch, paywall, or overpowered AI; just zero BS in general. You could even do it in complete peace from a private lobby. Will the revolver be useful to me? That remains to be seen, but it's a nice little addition to the game anyway. I hope for more of these treasure hunts in the future (preferably underwater so I'll have a reason to buy scuba gear). It's more fun to do a little mission like that rather than going AFK for "research" to be completed.

Will it just be you two when it's your turn to lead or can i join too?

So basically you have to reenact the Utøya massacre. No thanks.
No.
1) This is a game
2) Your character is not a right wing religious nut job, thinking he’s doing the world a favor
3) This is a game
4) Your killing digital representations of adult. Not children trapped on an island
5) This is a game
6) If you have a problem killing random nps in a game like this, why are you even playing? Do you have the same moral quarrels about killing virtual police officers? Cause if you draw these ridiculous comparisons, then surely killing hundreds, if not thousands, of police officers, must make you go to bed at night felling like a horrible person?
7) THIS IS A GAME
8) And most importantly! This has absolutely NOTHING to do with Utøya! There are no parallels, what so ever!

Didn't realise it was such a sensitive topic for you.

And yes, killing 50 civilians by shooting them as they are fleeing in panic and chasing them down in the water would definitely make me feel bad.

How do you prefer to get your 50 kills? 50 headshots at that? Any particular virtual representation of a real human that you feel less guilty about killing than others?

And it’s absolutely not a sensitive topic, that’s the whole point. I couldn’t care less about Utøya when I’m playing GTA. I’m able to distinguish GTA from the real world. I don’t feel guilty about ANYTHING I do in GTA, cause I know I would never do any of that murderous, depraved, psychopathic, sexist, etc etc stuff for real. Heck, throw in some kids, and I’ll run them over as well, or send them flying in a glorious explosion of red, white and blue with the fireworks launcher. #GoodTimes

If it's not sensitive, why so much caps lock?

And what makes you think that you know my feelings better than I do? If I say that it makes me feel bad to kill 50 civilians by chasing them down in the water and shooting them when they flee, because I associate that with Utøya, why can't you accept that?
