I take it the Hermes won't be able to be modified in Bennies, since it is on SSASA instead of Bennies website? A little disappointing but still one of my favourite cars from the series.
To those who say it will be the festive surprise, I don't think that means it will be a free gift because the Tampa was also a festive surprise but we still had to pay $400k for it.
 
I got the Deluxo and I love it. It's a lot of fun with the Avenger for obvious reasons, but the Bombushka + Deluxo combination makes for some good times too. Now that the Bombushka can open the back door, the Deluxo can go inside and keep itself in place by hovering. If the Deluxo slips or glitches out, it can just fly back in because it's faster than the Bombushka.

Today my friend with the Bombushka was taxiing and I was heading for the cargo door in my Deluxo when a jet blew him up. I took off, dodged two missiles and blasted him with my own missiles for one of the most satisfying kills I've ever gotten :D I also managed to hover out of the burning remains of the Bombushka when he crash landed with me in the cargo door, it was like a scene straight out of an action movie.
 
Decided to reinstall the game against my better judgement. How can and should I raise the money to afford the bunkers, hangers, etc. so I can actually do their respective missions? I only have around 550k in the bank, I do have the import/export facilities but I'd prefer to avoid the public session nonsense if possible.

I/E-work. Change your MTU to get a solo public session. If you are on PS4.

How fast is the Deluxo in flight? Also, how well does it control?

It's not fast in flight. Feels pretty slow but it's not bad. It handles really well once you get used to it. After some practice you can be very precise with it.

I really enjoy it but it's not as fast or deadly as the oppressor. Worth a test drive though if you can get one.

It's always best to try before you buy.

The combat performance isn't a major concern for me since I mostly play in peaceful lobbies, but thanks for letting me know anyway. :) I just have two more questions for you:

1: If you could compare the Deluxo's flying performance to any aircraft in the game, which one would it be?
2: Can it be stored in a regular apartment garage, or does it require a new property?
 
Haven't played since before any of the Smuggler's Run stuff came out. How quick would I be able to turn myself around if I invested in I/E? I have $1.7 mill right now and I imagine starting up in I/E is going to take a massive chunk of that, if not all of it.

Well I haven't weaponized my Deluxo as i like it stock and I have the oppressor for that. Plus the 300k for the missiles is better spent on other things.

1, hmm, it's not really like anything else in game as it's quite floaty. It doesn't have flaps or props that can steer it. The only way I can describe it is like floaty drifting on super slick ice.

2, Yes it can be stored in any garage where you can store normal vehicles.

I've been getting reports from friends that the modded Sentinel XS doesn't spawn anymore. I've also been unable to find one during my time in lobbies. Anyone care to confirm?

It goes about 88mph. Could be an Easter egg. :D Let's take a moment to realize that the Bombushka flies slower than that...
I'd say it turns pretty well, but sometimes it seems to take off slower than you think it would.

It's 1.7s faster than the Elegy so it's disgustingly broken. Also, its top speed trumps even the 811. Needs a nerf, badly.

I can't use ethernet at my student flat (APPARENTLY stretching a 20yd ethernet cable all the way from my room through the hallway to the router is 'forbidden' and a 'major safety hazard') so I have to use a crummy USB wifi adapter, would that work?

Hmm maybe, I don't use wifi for my computer so I don't know.
 
Control Alt Delete -> Task Manager -> Performance Tab -> Resource Monitor -> Network Tab -> Right click on GTA V application and select "suspend service". Wait 5 seconds. Right Click on GTA V application and select "resume service". Voila, private public lobby.
 
So... I went to source a vehicle, but when I left the office and my phone call with the assistant ended, the vehicle was immediately destroyed...?

We had a griefer who almost destroyed 2 of the cars and you guys helped us out. That was pretty cool :cheers: :gtpflag:

Side note, the Deluxos were able to withstand 2 rockets and being upside down inside LSC for quite some time :lol:
 
It was quite a fight to turn that one Deluxo on it‘s wheels again haha
That griefer was hella annoying, I had to get rid of him with the passive mode „trick“ and somebody‘s Vigilante :D
Was quite fun tho

Unfortunately now my all-in-order-bonus is screwed :(

That was awesome, I'm glad we made it in time to help. We were finishing Most Wanted & saw the killfeed of our peaceful lobby go crazy. We tried vote kicking him but then rushed over with an RCV, Savage and 2 Akula's in stealth mode and just kept taking him out until he left the lobby :D So much fun!
 
I wouldn’t really call it griefing. Had he done it for the hell of it, fine, but now it was during a freeroam-mission. Personally, I’ll only consider it griefing if it’s done without any clear reason. Now, he had big notifications telling him what was going on.

However, it was awesome to see crewmembers come together 👍 It also made it clear to me that I have to buy an Akula.

That sucks @Nuschel01 :(. But also, good to know for when we’re going for the CMM-challenge
