It may be common knowledge but what's with the mystery bunker hatch at the top of mount chiliad ?

Its where the nuke is stored when Avon tries to escape via jet pack and you guys are spawned near it after that cutscene. ;)

Just had an awesome contact mission session! Got teamed up with a player who actually knew what he was doing and wasn't just trying to blindly rush through the missions like most people do. Most fun I had in this game for quite a while :)

And as a bonus I've now got 150k more credits on the bank. Didn't even feel like a grind.

Feeling awesome...

By far the worst part of the whole Act 3 Heist is the Agent 14 rescue setup. One side of the dry dock has almost zero cover and thermal vision makes it difficult to see anything other than enemies. I know you can just toggle it on and off but its still really awkward when you get forced to the wrong side of the dry dock. It also has more jugs than the finale.
That setup is just a pain.

Is it worth it to buy a facility? Is there any way to make money with it besides the Doomsday heist? I want to get one but even if I get the Paleto Bay one, I won't have much money left over since I bought the workshop in my hangar and spent a lot on plane mods.

The only money making the facility allows is from hosting your own heists. Other than having the orbital cannon, a bedroom, living room and a weapon room it doesn't do much.

You have to do heist setup missions that require you to collect vehicles and other things for the heists but they don't earn you money.

If you want to do the heists and save your money then obviously just join friends or randoms on the heists.

Personally I like having it, it looks good full of the new warstock vehicles and the avenger.

TL : DR - There is no business opportunities with the facility.

The Facility will give you a few more parking spaces for Personal Vehicles and the larger Weaponised Vehicles/jet pack introduced in Doomsday.

And it lets you host your own Doomsday Heists.

And it, for a "small fee" (that's a reference to something), allows you to experience being a hacker who can turn anyone from a living human being to an insignificantly small piece of burnt flesh in about .3 of a second.

That's all it really does.

The orbital cannon makes me laugh. After all the complaining people did to Rockstar regarding modders blowing them up on both past gen and PC, they put in a weapon that allows everyone to blow up people from afar themselves. Logic.

Of course, on the day I get "Kill another player while off the radar" is the day I can ONLY get into single player lobbies

Rockstar are against modding...

...until they find a way to sell Shark Cards because of it. Then they're all for it.

I suspect that the Facility will act similarly to a Hangar and more large vehicles are gonna be added in a future update. If you don’t care about hosting the doomsday heist, I suggest waiting a few months before buying one.

Also, I learned the hard way that Sandy Shores > Lago Zancudo.

I have mixed feelings about the Orbital Cannon.

On one hand, it’s just inconvenient enough that you can predict when someone is trying to nuke you and act accordingly. However, that only works when you’ve been fighting someone and you know they’re a bit unhappy with you. There’s no way to predict random attacks.

Once every 48 minutes...for a minimum fee of $500k. Even if the player has infinite money, one shot/hour isn’t really bad.

Yeah, and It's still gonna be a pain dumping that much money into something that can be done for $100 worth of ammo. Lord knows I'd never use it.

Just feels like one of those things where you know it's there, but would make you feel better if it wasn't, if you catch my drift.

I think it's stupid.
Im not saying it’s the best thing in the game, but it’s not that bad either.
You could just as easy go into stealthmode with an Akula, sneak up to a player, get out of stealthmode, kill them with the homing missile and get back into stealthmode and fly away. Without cooldown-timer. And for free.
Or go off the radar with a Hydra/Lazer/whatever you want, and have a 1-minute killingspree for the cost of $500. Or Ghost org and do the same for...$12-15k for 3 minutes?? I’ve only used it once or twice, so don’t know for sure.

All the time we have spent in public lobbies recently and we have seen it used maybe 5 times. I dont see the OC as a big deal. It is only mildly inconvenient if you get killed by it.

True. And the 2 times we received it when we “tested” your Avenger weren’t really uncalled for
