NEW MODE: HARDEST TARGET

As it turns out, those imaginary haters you're always ranting about are real, heavily armed and totally out to get you. Jump into Hardest Target, a brand new mode now available in GTA Online with a clean objective - slaughter the other team's Target and protect your own at all costs. Only the Target's life matters (and you can rack up bonus points for Target-on-Target violence), so the gung-ho approach is strongly recommended. Keep an eye on the timer though - the designated Target switches every minute, meaning you could find yourself attracting some unwanted attention at the drop of a hat. Earn Double GTA$ & RP in Hardest Target now through February 5th.

There's other planes in Warstock on sale not advertised. I saw the Lazer selling for, I believe, 3.9 million. Pretty generous saving.

I love how the Neon looks. I'll definitely get it no matter the performance
I picked one up yesterday and I'd say definitely get it if you can afford it. Like most electric sports cars it has incredibly good acceleration at the cost of a low top speed. Plus it handles really well and is actually decent at off roading thanks to it's 4WD.

Unlike the Revolter I'd definitely say the Neon is properly worth the $1.5M

Not as bad as having some idiot who started attacking you killing you, then getting in your own car and running you over
Immideately set it back to „friends and crew“ again after that  so annyoing there is no „friends, crew and passengers“ tho

I used to put ignition bombs on my car before I set to passengers only. Those quickly made people stop trying to steal my car after killing me.

Was bored doing some low altitude fly overs over some randoms and done something I've always wanted to do but never could.

I fully expected to crash but I got really lucky.

Sent him a text saying "I didn't know I could do that!" and he replied with "That was 🤬 awesome!" I love good randoms. :)

Well, it took me until now to realize how effective selling cars from your warehouse with a friend is. Didn't take me long to be able to afford the discounted Cheetah Classic :)

The cooldowns balance it a bit where it's about the same profit long term whether you do it solo or not. This is because even though the second car only increases the cooldown by 50%(instead of doubling it over the single car cooldown) a pair of players will not be able to source replacement cars before the cooldown ends anyway. Player 1 sells his two cars(begins 30 min cooldown), player 2 sells his cars(begins 30 min cooldown) and by the time player 1 has helped player 2 sells his two cars and sources two more of his own the 30 min cooldown has passed. Now, if you have cars stacked up in the warehouse, of course you'll want help selling; but that's another problem entirely.

Similarly, as I've detailed before even the 25% speed increase in bunker production doesn't gain the average player anything. Using the max single vehicle sale amount of $175k(on the meter, sells for $262k) it'll be nearly 12 hours before you get an additional sale over the standard rate. Of course, this is only true if you are present and ready to sell at the exact moment the warehouse hits $175k. If you are doing something else and arrive 20 minutes or so late each time, you push the gain out another hour and a half.

It does look awesome on the newswire and gets all kinds of people logging in to get their 25% bonus that isn't so, though; so it's good for that.

Did Rockstar fix the handling bug on the Infernus Classic? I'm saving up to buy it and I prefer it wasn't broken.

I broke down and bought the Starter Pack and I can say that I'm not mad. I wish that it would have included a facility. The cars are nice, but they are a little dated. I wish they would have included some newer vehicles. But all in all I can't complain.

What's included with the starter pack Ken?

I'm busy with playing GTS atm, was too annoyed by all the idiots I came across recently and just running after supplies solo and doing nothing else really got kinda boring :D Might get back to playing on tuesday if they release the Kamacho (is that due then?)

While we wait for @Custom878 to get some issues figured out before doing more Busted (which you should totally join when the time comes), I figured I'd put forward the suggestion of actually doing an evening of FailRace's Survive The Hunt. And I'm throwing it in here instead of the Events thread because that's about as dead as the last three online racing series I've tried to set up.

There have been various variations of it over the last few years, but, for the sake of less-is-more, we're going with the original version as seen here:

..or, if you hate videos, here's a quick rundown:

2 teams: Hunted and Hunters

The basic premise is pretty self-explanatory: the Hunters hunt the Hunted - the Hunted wins if they survive for 24 in-game hours, the Hunters win if they don't.

There are just a few additional rules to be aware of:
  • Radar and Player Overhead Display must be completely off for everyone. Also no pausing the game and using that as a "radar".
  • The Hunted has a two minute head start
  • The Hunted cannot leave the city of Los Santos*
  • You cannot shoot while in a car, not even if it's one of those newfangled vehicles with what amounts to softguns on them
    • I'm also going to add that there is to be no explosives, no minigun or any form of MK II special ammo
*If we get less than, say, 10 people, the play area is subject to further restriction.

It's basically a slightly more elaborate, tactical version of Busted.

A microphone is not required, but definitely recommended, especially if you plan on playing as a Hunter.

If this sounds anything like something you'd want to spend an evening doing, let me know. If there's enough people by then, I'll do a lobby on the 17th because I've decided I can't be bothered with the other thing I intended on doing on the 17th. And yes, this particular member is on PS4, so have a guess at which platform it'll be hosted on (that's a rhetorical question, in case you couldn't tell).

I would throw in the added incentive of an $8,000,000 Shark Card for anyone who manages to survive the 24 hours/kill the Hunted because nothing makes people do things more than a monetary reward but my Eurojackpot investment is worse than the Bunker when it comes to time taken to make ROI so..

I'm on both Xbox One and PS4, but primarily use the Xbox for gaming. My HDMI situation only allows for one console to be plugged into the TV at a given moment, so almost all of the time I just leave the Xbox plugged in.
