[SomePlayaDude quote]Savestra: a Lada[SPD quote]
Lada? That's an RX-3, :irked: any Lada coupe you'd find here would be a shoddy custom
Shame too, was almost hyped up that I could drive around in a 2105 for :censored:s and giggles

More service for everyone:

Legendary: Tezeract - Flash GT - Tyrant - Jester Classic
Southern San Andreas: Ellie - Issi Classic - Dominator Whatsitcalled - Cheburek - Michelli
Elitas: Seasparrow
Warstock: Caracara

Coming additions:
  • May 1: Special Vehicle Circuit 2.0: Deluxo, Stromberg and Thruster
  • May 29th: New Stunt races because R* stunt races are always popular
  • Later this spring: Creator updates, including wore weather options (hopefully weather in Stunt races), custom team names, and (get hyped) WARP CHECKPOINTS FOR TRANSFORM RACES and other requested features
Also the Jester in the LGM image is hot pink

Damn. Just about everything looks perfect. I might buy that Hotring Sabre today, but I also want to wait and see if it’s worth it.

Someone got into the scripts and spotted something regarding suicides/EWO now possibly affecting K/D.

If this is a catch all scenario where suicides and EWO both negatively affect K/D, Then this is great freaking news for the non tryhards. :D

There may be hope after all!

Should have been that way since Day 1 of GTAO but better late than never.

I‘ll need to grind a lot I guess to get the Hotring, the Volvo and the RS200 :nervous: So if anyone is willing to help I‘d greatly appreciate it

The Sea Sparrow looks interesting (mostly out of VC nostalgia) but I'm a little burned out on car updates. Do we really need more? The supers, especially, just blend together now. I'd rather have more game features/modes/mechanics. Oh well.

Also, that Michelli is an Alfa Romeo 1600 GTA and the Issi 3 is a Mini Cooper, any differences could reasonably be described as resolution of detail (as in, if these were in the days of GTA III, you could reasonably say that they are exact copies of the real IP). How long are they going to keep getting away with pretty much blatant copyright infringement? It bothers me in a few ways. First, they are profiting massively off of others property. Second, it starts to break down the satirical nature of the world, which GTA needs for it to feel immersive.

My only use for the easy way out was a quick loss of wanted level, and of course fun with other players trying to take each other out with the shot. Will have to keep in mind to make others aware of the change going forward in the event they care about k/d.

Yes. Not that I am to complain about the additions in this update, as I think they are great; however I would prefer more things to do rather than more things to do nothing with. Not that cruising isn't great and a large part of my activities these days, but I'd like some more destination activities for my cruises. Bar hopping the same couple of places along with the clubhouses and certain hangouts does get a little stale. That's why I went for a 3 hour hike the other day hahah.

Broughy laptimes for the Taipan and Entity XXR are out, and they're almost comically slow. The Taipan gets a 1:05.898 which makes it the 2nd slowest car in the Supers class, and the Entity XXR gets a 1:04.332 which barely scrapes out the Sultan RS by less than a tenth of a second and is 2 whole seconds a lap slower than the regular (and much cheaper) Entity XF. Essentially the only reason to buy them is if you absolutely adore their looks, though IMO they aren't particularly good looking and I don't think they get any decent customisation options either.

thank GOD I didn’t sell a few of my cars to get the XXR oh my god

how did y’all manage to make the new entity slower than the old one goddamn

Apparently there's a new handling value called 'engine resistance' that affects all the new cars. No idea how much it affects the RS200, and it doesn't really matter if it affects the Hotring Racer because the new Hotring races are one-make races anyway.

Funnily enough R* seems to be very good at introducing new handling values and then adjusting them so that loads of cars become faster/slower every update, making it difficult to figure out if a car is going to suddenly become competitive or suddenly stop being competitive...

Oh wow. I'm watching the replay of Broughy's stream right now. On the new Vespucci Hotring track, you will miss the first major jump if you do not take a boost pad. Nice track design. :banghead:

Looks like they say they fixed the magical Hydra insta-pancake that they quietly introduced last update. I'll be the judge of that later.

I suspect some of the VTOL max speed may have come back, as the previous nerf really killed the top speed. Such that I haven't used it nearly as much in recent months.

..I think they've fixed the turned-wheels-when-ducking thing.

R* bug fixing at its finest.

I wonder if they removed the whole "car steers the opposite direction" when steering input occurs driving while ducking, as the wheels turned (opposite from input) when parked always seemed to me to be directly related to that.

So this is a motorsport I didn't know I wanted, nor knew I was apparently not-completely-terrible at: Blista NASCAR.

I'll have a video of that race up at some point because that was bloody good fun, but basically I started in the back, got to the front, slipstream-trained with a random, had things go all sorts of wrong, then made the pass for 1st on the final straight.

They will still take killing themselves with a grenade over letting the other guy kill them. They don't want the other person to have the satisfaction.

$3.9 million............Should I or shouldn't I get one of the new cars? Well, one of the two supercars anyways? I have a Vagner. I bought the Vulcar Fagaloa already.

Only if you like how the appearence of one or both of them, their laptimes have made it very unpragmatic to choose one in a race.
Save up for the Cheburek instead, only 145k

That's what I'm trying to figure out. There's more I want to buy in game, like a hangar. But damn if I don't like them

So I've just had a race at Trenchaway. The concept of it reminds me quite heavily of demolition derby from Grid. To the point where I'm fairly certain I saw someone perform an aerial overtake and I managed to clip at least three cars coming from the other direction.

I ain't even mad. This is good, silly fun. Especially in a good lobby.

Edit: Had another at the Sandy Shores one. Quite messy, but only .008 seconds off victory in the end.

Edit: AND ANOTHER at Vespucci - .05 seconds, four wide across the finish line.

By nature, ovals as tracks are quite boring - but this kind of racing does produce some moments!

As I don't find myself in combat often, yet have been witness to many exchanges due to the company I keep; this reminds me that in practice I believe I witness far more of the above and things like shooting the rocket launcher at the ground than use of the actual easy way out feature. Probably makes little difference to the pvp types, while does put a damper on some of my fun time.

Despite not carrying financial concerns in game, I still tend to wait a couple of days and see what still retains lustre in my eyes. Unless the car is a proper fit for a particular collection, in which case how it drives, etc may not be important to me anyway.
