I was about to head on to GTA, but then I noticed everyone was getting temp banned and progress wiped, definitely taking a rain check on that one.

From what I’ve seen so far, it’s only affecting PC players, Haven’t seen anything regarding console players being banned, but I’m gonna play it safe just incase as i’ll be damned if I’m gonna lose everything I’ve built to date.

Yes, it does appear to be limited to PC. On PS4 anyway, because there isn't really anything you can do to get banned* I don't think on it much.

*anything you can do unintentionally, to be specific. You can get banned on PS4, but I've yet to find someone banned there who didn't know exactly why and completely expected it.

Why do I get charged insurance for destroying someone's personal vehicle while I'm doing I/E? I thought insurance costs were stopped during missions.

Yep. It used to happen a ton on past gen as well. I think it still happens, but I haven't seen it happen in a while.

Now, if you are a badass there are other options. @superstreet556 and I did a sale with 3 insurgents with 5 stops each with only two of us, in a full public room. Whoever arrived at the next stop first called the buzzard and flew back to grab the last insurgent from the prior stop while the other fought the room off the other two insurgents haha. We completed it, under attack by Deluxos, and they took out one insurgent on the final stop. We lost 1 drop-off unit of the 15(3 vehicles, 5 stops each) while being constantly under attack and finished with a few minutes to spare. Probably 95% of folks would not be able to do that, which is why I try not to recommend things that I don't feel *most* players can successfully accomplish.

Me and a guy who didn't exactly know what he was doing did it this way, it was just that I ended up having to be the one going back to get the other insurgent. We were in an empty lobby by ourselves, though.

Don’t know tbh. I’ve just seen people advising to stay in invite only sessions til it’s addressed.

I don't know if the recent update changed it or not but just adjust your connection settings.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong in the process for getting a custom plate?

First, I get on the iFruit app on my phone, then I make my custom plate and then order it for a car. Then, I take the car to LSC and the plate is not there. I've tried it multiple times now and it never works. I hope it's not just a bug that R* can't be bothered to fix.

I did, both times. And it comes through just a few seconds after I place the order on my phone.

I'll provide a couple of screenshots just in case I'm misunderstanding something.

And then this screen comes up and I click accept

After clicking accept, I get this, and I click yes

And then I get this

Seconds later, this text comes through my in-game phone.

I go to LSC and it's not there. I can't even remove the stupid "CHOPPER" plate that I have on like 75% of my cars.

And when I go to LSC in a car that doesn't have the "CHOPPER" plate, it shows the option to add it:

I don't know if that last part is related or not, but it's definitely annoying.

Not sure if it'll help this issue but last time I had problems with custom plates I found re-linking my PSN on the Social Club worked.

This was my first theory as well. Usually when you start having issues with plates, the game may have marked the car dirty for some reason which is weird because there's only a tiny, tiny amount of cars people rely on duping that usually leads to that outcome.

Hopefully, it gets fixed for you Josh.

Thanks! Just got home and I'm going to try some of your suggestions and see if they work.

I had trouble with plates a long time ago, and I found buying something else(tint), through the app, made the plate show up in game.

So I tried this and it fixed the cars that I didn't already have a CHOPPER plate on, but it still doesn't work on the ones that do have it. I tried @Katiegan's and @leeislee's suggestions but I don't notice any difference.

Current plans are to host in the same 'private' public lobby that I usually have going. If that appears to pose a problem, alternatives will be explored at that time. This will be a low energy, relaxed car show. There are no vehicle restrictions. If you want the world to know you're the kind of person who rocks gold leaf and dollar signs, have at it. I won't stop anyone from making fun, though. This is, as everything I've hosted; a peaceful gathering. Don't 🤬 around. I'm a pretty lazy individual, so if there is any outrageous clowning towards other players, superstreet has permission to kill the perpetrator until they are dead.

All are welcome, no invites necessary.​
