The Hotring races might be some of the dumbest fun I’ve had in this game. As long as you understand how physics work in the game and aren’t a dick to every one, it’s fairly easy to always finish top 5.

I actually just won my first race at the typing of this.

I can report this to you before the usual Twitters because holiday and apparently FoxyBot is being lazy again, but the Tezeract (..which looks kinda alright) and the Ellie (the real MVP of this week) are out. Which means the original release order posted is probably right, and the Sports Classics update is last in line.

Unless the usual sources find out before then, I'll snoop around and see what happens in the world of 2x cash. Certainly not the Bunker, though. Hotring seems to still be 2x.

I'm 90% positive Hotring will remain 2x. It's a brand new mode that Rockstar would clearly still want to push next week. Would be really surprised, otherwise.

Tezeract is about on par with the FMJ. Not the fastest car in the Supers class, but not so off the pace that it's completely unusable, which is fortunate considering it costs $2.85 million.

The Vapid Ellie has a messed up engine model, 7 inlets . I much prefer the Dominator, sounds better and drives better.

Seems like almost none of the cars in this update are all that great.

The Jester is unfinished, the Ellie hasn’t been getting a lot of rave reviews and 2 of the super cars are massive. Only the Koenigsegg-inspiration, GB200, the older wagon and the Lada are liked.

Friday 3/30

Room will be open by 7PM EDT, with gathering to begin between 730-8PM EDT

Current plans are to host in the same 'private' public lobby that I usually have going. If that appears to pose a problem, alternatives will be explored at that time. This will be a low energy, relaxed car show. There are no vehicle restrictions. If you want the world to know you're the kind of person who rocks gold leaf and dollar signs, have at it. I won't stop anyone from making fun, though. This is, as everything I've hosted; a peaceful gathering. Don't 🤬 around. I'm a pretty lazy individual, so if there is any outrageous clowning towards other players, superstreet has permission to kill the perpetrator until they are dead.

I actually bought the Ellie the other day; I really like it despite some mixed reviews. Could be better but I think it’s one of the best cars released so far.

Why does the thing where you shoot the wheels to lower the car only work on some vehicles? Some cars work perfectly, some it works on but blows it up and, some it doesn't work on and still blows them up. I know it won't work on bulletproof tires but I have only tried it on NPC vehicles.

Had a load of fun last night, except for that arse who orbital cannon'd us and the numerous randoms that felt the need to shoot us. Overall the first meet was better in my opinion, but I'd be such an inconsiderate jerk if I held the problems of this meet against the folks that organized this. You can't help the behavior of randoms.

I would definitely be down for another show. Maybe we could do this bi-weekly or once a month?

My favorite part of GTA Online is having your mechanic deliver a car and the car is hit by an NPC before you can get to it.
