Does anyone know how the Nightshark compares to the Insurgent? I’ve never had an opportunity to drive an upgraded one. The Insurgent is one of my favorite vehicles because it’s perfect in almost every aspect. The speed, durability, all-terrain capability, and effectiveness as a battering ram has made it a near-perfect vehicle for the hellscape that is GTA Online.

There's apparently also a new Enus in it somewhere, for anyone interested.

I’m calling it now: the new Enus will be a Rolls Royce Cullinan clone.

I think the Nightshark can take more explosions, but doesn't have the weight to power through things like the Insurgent.

That’s too bad. Blasting through traffic, roadblocks, or golden private jets is the best part of the Insurgent.
 
Our good friend Nightshark has better performance than the Insurgent, can tow an AA Turret, weighs less, has in built machine guns (can still do drive bys when windows aren't covered), access to proxy mines, and more customization. Their armor are similar.

I'm down for a free Revolter, and I have a fully researched Insurgent Pickup Custom for my armored truck needs.

And it doesn’t have its own icon when you look on the map. Your enemies can only see a normal, circular blip on the map. Unlike the Insurgent.

Yup. I logged on about an hour ago and got the notification that I’d received 300K. An “ok” profit for doing nothing:tup:
 
Im ready for this Update to drop, hopefully within the next 2 weeks. I’ve taken some time away from GTA to play other stuff and ready to come back to the grind.
 
So since Rockstar hasn't told us of the event week this week, I decided to dig around in-game to find anything.

To be honest, I'd have been more surprised if they *did* release the Jester in its current Standard Car quality and general brokenness.

Then again, at least it wouldn't detract from the entertainment that is the Jester Classic Fan Club :lol:

Also I feel like it's somewhat appropriate that I'll have 80 million + change to spend on nightclub stuff.

Although 40% off the Ultralight is sweet, even though I own an Akula for sneaking around up high now. And top battle jets the Pyro and Starling as well.. hmm... I'm sorry, but I've vowed to save my remaining change for the next update.
 
I'm guessing they ran out of ideas for discounts and just recycled a whatever.

I mean, I'm not having a hard time thinking up a pretty good not-out-of-the-realms-of-possibility get-yourselves-ready-for-Nightclubs event week right now, but that's a moot point, isn't it?
 
I decided to controversially sell my Akula and nab the Pyro on discount.
 
..just to be absolutely sure I'm missing something blatantly obvious, but is there really no way of making a Capture: GTA where the Capture Vehicles don't respawn? In a fit of boredom yesterday, I may have made what I think could be an.. "interesting" Capture if played with at least 6 people total and preferably at least double that, but it all sort of falls apart if one goes for a respawned vehicle.

And yes, this is what I do when I'd want to get people together for a freemode "heist" but remember how things usually turn out.

Don't think so, couldn't that result in an un-winnable game if all the cars were destroyed and the timer was disabled?

..that is an issue, yes. But if I at least could make the vehicles that have already been "scored" not respawn, that'd be something. At least then you definitely can't run off of one car for the entire game.

Besides, being able to create missions where one team can only "win" if the other team "loses" would only open up even more interesting missions. Again, consider them mini-Heists.

I do find it some weird kind of amusing, however, that people will gladly take a leakers word when they say an update releases on a certain date, but when the exact same person then says it's been delayed for some reason, suddenly they need an official statement from R*, the leakers were lying etc.

I mean, for all intents and purposes, it looked *a lot* like it was going to be today, what with the leaked you-yourself-can-confirm-this-info-is-correct Guest List stuff and so on. Unfortunately, as people have had to be reminded of several times, sometimes 🤬 happens, schedules crumble. Heaven forbid any of those people ever have to deal with the danish public transport system :lol:
 
Well I am very happy the release is delayed, it fits my plans and next week is good for getting back into GTA Online.

It's been quite a nice break since the end of March but I'm looking forward to seeing what's new with the DLC and also what cars are coming, hopefully today's newswire post may give us a tease!
