Is it just me, or does every random on GTA only use marksman rifles and RPGs?

And they all look like they're dressed for WWlll too.

Is the Marksman Rifle really that much of an issue? I thought people didn't like it due to it's recoil.

Marksman rifles aren't a problem when I can one-shot them with the heavy sniper. I've fought plenty, very few have killed me before I kill them.

It's not that it's hard to deal with, it's just that every single person I run into uses it and nothing else.

I rarely find use for it, and not being able to zoom is very annoying. However, I do like that the reticule changes color when it's on an enemy.

All sniper rifles need a big change. A white dot on a bright background (Sand, the side of a building, fog, etc) makes it almost impossible to tell whether or not you will hit an enemy.

I noticed a while ago when I was in a "Pistol Deathmatch" with a person who decided to use a marksman rifle instead that most MR users are terrible shots. If I only "lost" to this person by one kill while actually using the agreed upon pistols while the other person marksman rifle, I would have leveled that idiot if all things were equal. Even today, from my experience, it seems like most of the people I've come across with it couldn't shoot to save their lives if they used a different gun.

I don't know why but I like the marksman rifle purely for it's mobility, it can ultimately match the distance of other snipers in a shootout unless we're talking real long distance (player not appearing but shooting bullets)

It's just that people don't use the guns advantages to it's potential, like anyone that I engage that has the Marksman rifle don't know how to strafe shoot or something

The rifle in San Andreas was rad, same with the sawn off shotgun. Was one of my favourite weapons in that game.

We have way too many assault rifles and carbine rifles. We need more variety in the other categories, but first we need to be able to choose the only weapons we want to use while inside of a vehicle. I can't stand having to switch through so many handguns and bombs just to find the four things that are actually useful (AP Pistol, Micro SMG, Sticky Bombs, Proximity Mines).

Also, there's no such thing as a carbine rifle. It's just a carbine.

Easiest thing to do is to simply change to the gun you want to use in your car on foot beforehand. Automatically changes to that weapon if I remember correctly.

I'm not very good at timing the explosion of the grenade, especially if I'm under pressure (being chased down, on the run from cops, etc).

But if I need to use my SMG, then switch to a sticky bomb, I have to scroll through the list. Plus, it is VERY annoying when my character automatically uses the SMG outside of the car after using it.

Here's a scenario to explain it:

I switch to my Assault Shotgun so my character uses it as soon as they exit the car. Someone attacks me, so I use my SMG to kill them while inside my car. I jump into Fort Zancudo to steal a jet, and soldier shoots at me. I want to use the Assault Shotgun because it will kill the soldier instantly, but my character still pulls the SMG out.

Another issue is the weapon list itself: When scrolling through them in my car to get the SMG, it had to go through the pistol category. Guess which gun it switches to when I get out of the car.

And the pistol slot glitches on every mission. It puts my flare gun as the first gun in the slot, not my default Pistol.

Found a Futo (yay!) But got sniped by some guy when I was taking it to LS Customs.

Anyway, bought a Speeder, and the Casco (Trying to decide what to paint it now), as well as a Z-Type. I want another supercar as well, but can't decide which one. Doesn't have to be the fastest, I have my Entity for races.

May join the Zentorno owners club. I have no modern Lamborghini knockoffs in my garage right now.

I'm at 10 million now, after buying the Z-Type. My only purchases left are mods for it and the Casco, maybe a pickup Insurgent, and whatever supercar I buy. Then the rest goes towards future updates.

Rode around with some MC today. They were French. Rode up in passive mode, came out of it after a few minutes, and even saved them from an enemy Savage.

Unrelated: Anyone else sort their garages? My first apartment (Del Perro, apt 7) has a bunch of classic muscle cars, both my choppers, and my Slamvan (Still need a Dukes to complete it). Was going for a muscle beach vibe. My Weasel Plaza apartment has most of my sports classics (All but the Tornado, which is with the Americana garage), my Porsche, my Felon, and other high end/luxury cars. And then, my main garage in Tinsel Towers has all my off-roaders (Being my northernmost garage), as well as any cars I might want to start a freemode session in, since I spawn there (Armored Kuruma, Insurgent, Entity, and my sports bike), as well as anything that just didn't fit in to the other two.

Secondary garage (Greenwich Parkway): Other high-end supercars, sports cars, and luxury cars

Third garage (1337 Exceptionalists Way): Lower-end vehicles, although some are still expensive (Insurgent, Armored Kuruma, Dubsta 6x6)

I own all three Del Perro apartments.
Apt. 4 is all of my super, sports, sports classic or most used cars, since I spawn in the apartment.
Apt. 7 is was my first apartment; pretty much has the cars I don't use as often, but still use.
Apt. 20 is for my least used cars, or stuff I find off the street.

I also organize each garage, cars that are shorter in height towards the doors, and taller at the back, on both sides. Just looks better that way.
