I wouldn't even count that as being right. I'm willing to bet the dials in cars don't show the actual coded speeds. To truly figure out the top speed, one must look at the game files themselves.

I used a mod that tells me the exact speed, and pretty much the same method. And my VSync is "off", which is unlike Broughy who uses it at "Half" for the cars that could normally be untestable.

May pick up a Chino. Not big on lowrider mods though.

Geuss I'll be grinding missions like crazy and buying the upgrade for the Faction & Voodoo.

Unfortunately, I think I'll pass. My Faction is more than ample for my bouncing around.

You know, THIS should be the sort of discounts we get when the update is fresh out.

9F Cabrio, Rapid GT, or Surano?

Was thinking about buying one, and maybe selling my Carbonizzare. It's a little too hard to push for me. I spin it out all the time.

If spinning is the problem, avoid the Surano. It's more rear end happy than the Carbonizzare. But it's better than it in almost all ways.

The Rapid GT has a really wide steering width (a really bad thing), but has good traction for rear wheel drive, and acceleration ratings that rival some Supers.

The 9F is like an Elegy: 4WD, but sometimes tail happy. It's rather unbalanced for it's drivetrain, really. But it's got great acceleration, and handles like if the Surano has less traction problems.

Considering this, might get the Rapid GT. It's just for cruising, not racing.

I'll try them out in a race.

So, @e rikkie let me try his 9F and Rapid GT out. I also managed to steal a Surano for a stock joyride. My impressions:

The 9F Cabrio in stock form is really, really floaty. The rear spoiler looks nice and makes it feel a lot more planted. Fully customized, it was fast, easy to control, and looked nice.

The Rapid GT was nowhere near as fun to drive for me. Although it was a hardtop, trying out the convertible showed that it didn't change much. It has a blocky feel to it, where as the 9F felt light, and was great fun to drive around.

The Surano was my favorite, looks-wise. It looked fast, but classy as well. Suffered from the same problem I had with the Rapid GT though. Driving was as exciting as a dead fish.

I think I'll pick up a 9F Cabrio eventually. Now, the only question is: Should I sell the Carbonizzare for it?

One thing I want to know is if the Z-Type maxes at 130 MPH, and if the Adder can go beyond 150 MPH.

I'm sure the Z-Type can go faster. I'll try it out in a moment.

If you have to know, the road I took was the long, wide one at Rockford Hills, or maybe a more identifiable way to put it: the start line for Life Invader Circuit, but heading west.

EDIT: RESULTS!

BY THE POWER OF MODS. I HAVE..
AN EMPTY ROAD, DEVOID OF TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIANS.
A SPEEDOMETER IN MP/H.
AND 2 TRUFFADE CARS, BOTH MAXED OUT.

But no pictures. Sorry.

Either way, since this is a curb happy road, the speed values are really going to be off the charts.

On that road, the Adder can reach 160! Which surprised me.

The Z-Type.. can also do the same feat. But it's the suspension that makes this a pretty hard thing to achieve. It hates to bounce, and it's so stiff. Took me a 2nd try to actually get the 160.

For giggles, I put in the PiBwasser Dominator and the Hakuchou. Both fully upped, and the Hakuchou in full banter wheelie.

The Dominator manages 160 like the Adder, and just as easy too.

The Hakuchou though...

Okay if you let it go.

But wheelie it.. IT IS A MONSTER. Will you believe me when I say, according to the speedo.. 180 MPH?!! IT EVEN DECIDED TO RAMP OFF THE CURB, JUMP ON TO THE HIGHWAY, FLY PAST THE HOUSES, LAND ON THE BEACH SO FAR AHEAD, THAT I BRAKED IT AND IT STILL ENDED UP IN THE BIG BLUE!!

One thing: I want to see this thing slaughter the Z-Type in a Broughy speed test.

Some butthurt guy put a 9k bounty on me after I beat him in a freemode challenge. Anyone want it?

Haha.... Someone sent a mugger after I collected and delivered a death drop. I was trying to deposit my winnings and heard " Oh no you don't!" The thief stole $6900 and and even took off with my Hakuchou. Luckily I recovered both. I'll post the video after work.
EDIT: Here's the video

 He sent a mugger after me too. I was idling around in the little bay by the heliport on my Dodo and the mugger was swimming after me.

Why do people feel the need to shoot at an innocent red Sentinel sitting at the lights? Happened 3 times today.

Also, hit 130 in a Bati

Might pick up a Moonbeam on Thursday. Don't get me wrong, there's no chance of me being able to get enough money together in time to upgrade the darn thing, but I want a cool lowrider van and I might as well buy it whilst it's cheap. I wish I just had a SLIGHTLY faster PC on which to play this game - might plan my first ever custom PC and try my luck at asking for some parts for Christmas and/or my birthday in April.

Didn't earn enough for the Voodoo upgrade yesterday, only earned 200k which I used to buy another 10 car garage, but will hopefully be able to have enough for the Faction upgrade by whatever day that is.

Also, what's the highest anyone's got in Criminal Damage? Had my first go at it yesterday and with a mix of a tank & minigun I got around 3.5 million total.
