There are, because a lot of people actually were surprised about the overall size of the game. Packed it's 60GB, unpacked it's 120GB.

The Steam overlay service has a built-in counter, even if you own the game outside of Steam you can add it to your Steam library as a shortcut so you can use the overlay. If you go to settings (in Steam), then the in-game tab, there's a drop-down menu for you to choose where you want the counter. It's the best counter I've seen because when you're not looking at it, you can't see it - others are huge and bright, the Steam one is (by default at least) low-contrast and small.

So after about an hour to download the first update and unpack it last night and then another hour+ to tweak the graphics settings, I did get some solid play time... until about 4:00am est 
I've got an i5-4670K @ 3.4GHz with AMD Radeon HD 7700 and can only run everything on normal so far. I just don't have enough memory on that thing (1GB) to do anything good. Then I found an AMD driver update for this game and installed that only to find that I couldn't even look around without getting 1 fps and making the game unplayable, but that kinda fixed itself after about 5 minutes. It made the game look really good on normal textures though, but I really need a new graphics card. And a new monitor while I'm at it. Using an older one stuck at 1600x900 and I can't even use all of it on this game.
Also, I actually managed to get a lot of time online with my transferred character without any issues 👍
But I noticed that I was only credited with an extra million online and not the 1.3 million I was supposed to get with my preorder... first world problem I guess but that extra 300K was supposed to make up for the delay 👎

Some of the bonus money is for GTA V, not all of it was supposed to be for your online character.

Maybe but I could have sworn it was just for online. It's not a huge deal but still can't help but feel a little salty about it. Am I alone in thinking that we were supposed to get a delay bonus?
Still trying too download the the update.................its only been nearly 6 hours
Is the download stuck? That happened to me and had to restart Steam (if that's what you're using).

I've got the Retail Boxed Version all 7 CD's m tried restarting it god knows how many times , gets almost to the end then I either get "Error 01" or it simply says Server Error reconnecting" and downloads the same thing again

When I finally get GTAV on PC I am thinking of making a series of videos using the editor based off Gone In 60 Seconds. I will call it "The Wheelman" and basically, the character has 36 Hours to steal 36 cars or he gets killed by the Mafia. How possible it will be I will see when I get it.

I have two questions for people who have the PC version.
1. Can you import your own music for a radio station like the Independence FM station in GTA IV to listen to whilst your driving?
2. With the Video Editor, can you export videos to your documents like with GTA IV or can you only upload them to YouTube/Social Club?
Just thought I'd ask seeing as I won't be buying the game for a while.

So got my shiny new DS4 all hooked up and played for a bit tonight. Since I am using my TV it will only go up to 59Hz refresh rate, so I'm locked to 59fps or lower. Mostly runs in the high 40's if there is a lot moving on screen, but saw dips into the 30's. I have everything on high or very high and just a notch or two over the recommended video memory usage. No complaints here coming from PS3, looks fine to me. Using a controller though it seems to block out my keyboard, my Windows + Print Screen capture doesn't work.

Not sure about the screen capture, but I switch between controller and keyboard all the time and it hasn't given me any issues, works flawlessly.
Been playing a few hours yesterday and the game runs really really great. I do hope they address the shadow/texture pop in (most notable during flying). Other than that I think this is a very smooth release. 👍
