I felt a lot more relaxed in today's meet than in the past ones. It's nice to crawl through the desert at night in a giant truck listening to Vinewood Boulevard in the background. I was trying to keep my distance from other people, while trying to keep up. For the most part, we did have a really good run.

Unfortunately, we had the cops show up at LS Customs along Route 68. Guys, seriously. Stop doing stupid crap in the trail meets.

Now, I'm thinking of replacing a vehicle in my garage for a Rebel. Would you guys recommend it over the Sandking XL? I'm not getting rid of the Sandking, that's for sure, but is the Rebel worth owning?

In my opinion the Rebel is unmatched when it comes to off-roading. I know a lot of people go for the Sandking and it's a great vehicle, but depending on the type of trail you're running on I've found the rebel can out-perform the Sandking.

Definitely recommend getting one if you don't have it already!

It does look very fun to launch off hills. I guess I could use it for trails that are narrow, since my SKXL is gigantic.

The Rebel is a good all around offroader. It's my go to for trails.

I've just used the Sandking for everything since it has significantly more ground clearance and power than the Rebel. That means it can get over pretty much anything. Big rock? No problem. Guardrail? No problem. Extremely steep hill? Once again, no problem. I always see Rebel drivers having problems with these things.

I don't believe the LSPD showing up was the result of horseplay. With about 10 trucks lined up to pull into LSC, some lag caused a weird overlap and an explosion. I know we're trying to simulate real life, but I think calling the mechanic for a new truck is a better option then using LSC during our meets.

I think the Rebel is definitely a must-have in any LS4x4 members garage. It's really the only purpose built rig designed specifically for trail riding, if you ask me. IMO, the Sandking is too big, and the MerryMesa is a military design (Not to say I don't love all three). Each of those are always in my garage, while the stock looking vehicles often get swapped in and out. With the vast customizing options on the Rebel, it's not hard to make it appealing even with the rust.

All of that is true. But, if you need something for a narrow trail with some decent sized rocks, the Rebel is ideal.

I pulled into the ls customs, and then somebody pulled in behind me, and then everything flipped out. my truck ended up upside down in ls customs, and then it flipped out some more, and then i was outside, falling through the world in a blown up truck. pretty fun actually

Long time member, but changed ISPs and cannot reset my password.

What does it take to get my crew request approved? It's been about 48 hours or so.

I drive an orange Karin Rebel with a confederate flag on the driver's door (current crew emblem).

Just a few pics from the XBL offroading session today.

Great pics! Nice job to you guys organizing the crew over on the Xbox side. It's pretty cool seeing the crew participating in the same event across multiple gaming platforms. 👍

I have a Rebel over on my other character. Fully built, its a really nice offroader. "Sandking of the Hill" can be made in a single run. Not many vehicles can.

I have a few more pictures of tonights Xbox Live meet. I'll upload them tomorrow probably.

It was also decided (by me) that our backup off-roader is the Crown Vic. Taxi, I called a few out for somebody whos Rebel had been impounded, but he opted to ride shotgun with me instead. I did obviously get a picture of the backup off-roader though.

There was also another rule enforced which was by a friend of mine which was ”If you ain't got bulletproof, you ain't drivin' it”. Which was quite funny, turned out the only person affected by this was me XD.

How do I go about joining the Ps3 Team of this crew, I drive a XL sand king but going to get a rebel, ASAP, Hope to 4X4 with you all soon!

Thanks SDC.

My apologies, I see you've posted interest in joining a couple of times. We weren't intentionally ignoring you, we've just been dealing with a lot in here this past week.

To answer your question, you only need to be registered at Rockstar Social Club. Provide me with the name used on the Social Club and I'll send you an invite. Once a crew member, you can use the GTA online options to find other crew members to trail ride with. :)

It's fine, seems like a lot of shenanigans going on from what I have read.

I have registered and have had a rockstar social club account under my PSN name: Shoot_Da_Car, I hope my timezone is suitable for 4x4ing with you all!

EDIT: Invited accepted how do I make this my main crew?

ShootDaCar, your invite is sent, welcome! We've got members in many time zones, you shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to ride the trails with.

Thanks a heap! Now how do I make it my main crew?

To make it your active crew in-game:
Pause > Online > Crews > My Crews > LS 4x4 > Set as Active Crew

This might not be 100% right, since I haven't had to do this in a while, but it should get you close to what you need.

Cheers Dan, Spot on.
Edit: anyone else having GTAV problems?

Mine is still showing "request pending". Social club name = Beaver_Mounter. I'm a member of several 4x4 crews, but this is the granddaddy of them all.

Thank you so much for setting up today's event, let's set something up for next weekend. Also, before I got offline today I built an Obey Rocoto to take out on the trails next week. Also, to answer a question from earlier today. The product of a Jobuilt Hauler and Vapid Sandking SWB is an International CXT (pic below).

I have to bring this up I was singled out.
@JDM SRE70 trails are not racetracks others complain about your connection tailgating n slamming into them so we stay away from you. Then you kill someone I know, if we wanted to kill people we would all be in a free mode. So my opinion thats a no go so I locked my doors like a timeout.

WHY DO WE KILL OUR OWN MEMBERS?? GO KILL A RANDOM IN A RANDOM SESSION
Ok then jdm throws a sticky on two crew members vehicles killing one

@Fastcarguy You were on the wrong side , I didnt mean to lock you out and yes it felt bad leaving you there but we get to the airfield and im waiting in a plane for the others or you 2 get in but no you sticky it and kill me . I dont have no sorries for anyone, and since you said sorry I'll let it go further notice but dont get in my cars with police unless I say its ok

For the meet I wouldve drove my tahoe (swb bootleg) but I got work ill catch up after . I hope all goes well

leave the kid shoe size behavior at home act your age and not your shoe size

Who the **** did i slam! I only hit the White Mesa, and that was by pure accident. How come i'm copping all this BULL****, what about the guy who was grenade launching me THE WHOLE TIME.. I don't really care, i have been kicked. But kick the other guy.

I sent a request to the crew a few days ago (Xbox) Social Club is Roflkent and XBL is Furious Sausage
I was certain I had sent your invite, but I guess it either got lost or I'm just mistaken. I just sent a fresh invite.
