To LVracerGT .... after reading your comment in the News Section describing PD's intention to ban hacker accounts, I'm afraid I am removing myself from your series. In my opinion hybriding and hacking is destroying the game and in the big picture, can only hurt the francise. Those who defend the practice (again, in my opinion) are only looking at it from a selfish perspective using classic "rationalization" and "denial" to support their actions. I'm all for PD including a livery editor and customization but when people modify code in order to gain any advantage (and they do) it only lessens the value of the game and turns people away. I know you think the opposite, but that's what "denial" is all about :dopey:

Um, sorry to hear that I guess. But I only make realistic hybrids that are for personal use. I also host one of the biggest and most popular drifting series on GT5, and hybrids were huge for that community, allowing swaps that are done in real life to be replicated in the game. And PD is only hurting themselves, if they had released a finished product in the first place that wasn't already behind Forza in everything but graphics and physics they wouldn't have this problem in the first place.

To each his own I guess, good luck.

I am not going to comment on 'hacking' other than to say I do not have the time to do it; but have seen it online (supersoft tyres).

This series needs drivers; the fuller the grid the better :dopey:

Every online series I have joined ends with too few drivers :grumpy:

Please re-confirm the grid, thanks 👍

Hahahahahaha..... That's what I call putting your foot down in style (sarcasm)

You have no idea what kind of cars LV or myself make. If anything, it's a disadvantage as we make cars that bring smiles to our faces rather then making others mad. It's funny how, the highest asked for feature for GT6 (engine swaps etc) is finally available to everyone and it receives back lash.. Can't please everyone. You may disagree with me, but that is a huge part of denial ;)

I disagree with people modifying code that allows them to run more grip and more downforce than other competitors. I disagree with people getting longer tire life on Softs than others do on Hards. I disagree with people being able to run more speed and HP while still being able to adjust PP where it needs to be. Yes, call me old fashioned and call me old school, but I've been involved in professional racing for well over 40 years and I know what real racing is.

Satisfying your selfish interests is of course more important than the ideal set forth by Kazunori-san and the millions of others who love the game for what it is. As far as I'm concerned, there is no further need for discussion. You are who you are and I am what I am :)

For what it's worth, I don't think you can modify tire life or PP freely. And I'm right with you on people using the code modifying to cheat. I only make realistic cars that make the game more enjoyable for myself. In fact, I'm even in the process of modding the FGT to make a replica IndyCar. I don't and never will use it for performance advantages while actually racing.

Back on topic, everyone should still be on the grid with the exception of taddy93 unless he has a wheel. And I have 2 friends that will be joining the grid, but maybe not until round 3.

I cant make the next race since my ******* boss changed my schedule again. Hopefully it will get switched back before round 3.

I'm going to have to withdraw from this mate, sorry, But your totally right, This entire game needs updates galore, not just for the DS3 vs wheel but other things too, Spent the better part of 3 hours testing in public lobbies, seems that this is just junk! sorry, hopefully we can get something together with F1 2013 with less issues,

Congratulations to Hawkeye134 on his win at Malaysia! Had a great battle to the end

We really need to get some more people in this, had some pretty good fun just with 4 guys and some AI drivers. I'll get points updated later today, got some chores to take care of.

EDIT: Points updated. Hawkeye134 is now the points leader.

I was battling with Kimi and Roman on lap two or three; 3 wide and then Roman spun me out:crazy:; did a 360 and continued on with my race :). Never a possiblity of catching the front runners, but enjoyed holding off the A.I. for half of the race 👍:)

Didn't I say before the race to watch out for Romain?!

He was just looking to make an impact on the race.

Yeah, and I said before the race they did not model the A.I Romain like the real one , D'oh :)

From now on he will be called : Lettuce (romaine) Grosjean :sly:

Didn't we decide to drop the Korean GP and tack Interlagos onto the end of the season?

Edit:

Silver-Sylph
Just as a track suggestion is to take out Korea because the track is honestly really bad and replace it with brazil or something else.

I'll have a look. I haven't driven it yet, but I remember it being a good race last season.

I think I would be interested in joining and I might have a teammate. Can I reserve the Saubers for this weekend?

Do you use a wheel or controller?

Edit: I have modified the drivers entry list, removing the guys that have not showed for the first two races and the guys that have been removed/removed themselves.
