Hold on I'm Division 2 make me sound slow already lol

I am team less this down to my shifts at work, I'll not be able to make all races.
In less I can talk Blue into a 4 week break lol.

On a good note when I can make it, I'll be testing your all welcome to join.
One little question blue you hosting the races?

I'm just asking down to you DC alot on race nights before!
I know your not slow mate, as I mentioned in PM it's because of your time shifts etc. Some really quick guys in D2 anyway
Yep, replaced everything and net seems to be working ok at the moment. But we always have back ups to keep the room going if I do 👍

How points going to work lets just say I win a race in div 2 and Skeng wins in Div 1?
Who watchs the races and make sure there clean, you know what I mean no using the car in front as a brake or barrier help in or round a bend?

you score for 1 division. If you win D2 and skeng wins D1 then you both score max points for your own divisions.

This may seem weird, but honestly I find it much more fairer then Pre-Q. Putting in all that work just to be knocked out and no racing, that seems harsh. This way people can still get some racing with a decent size grid

I'll be there to watch, and others can jump in to have a go to

2 separate championships. Unless the points could be merged?.... Although this could be a bit unfair, but there will never be a way to satisfy everyone.

You would have to keep them seperate really, merging them wont make sense because the overall "winner" could top the championship without ever beating someone from Div1, that doesn't really work.

yep my thoughts exactly, the only other thing is merging the 2 seperate results. So calling it room 1 and 2, then say the two race winners, the overall winner is who completed it in the fastest time

Also I not understand the Success Penalty read it a few times and I'm hmmmm.

Sorry for moaning blue, I just don't get it.
If I finish 1st then 4th it = 12% + 3 in the last race, so that -15% bhp in the last race!

Want if I come 1st in both 1 and 2 races then what?

What is -15% on 280bhp, I no good at working % out

No worries mate
If you finish 1st you must run with 1st place penalty for race 2.If you come 4th in race 2, you will need to run 1st and 4th place penalty.
This may seem iffy, but last season drivers had a pen for race 1, which gave them even scores. People would rather have no pen for race 1, so you can have 2 good races then the 3rd will bunch people back up

The exact numbers are in the spoiler :)
BHP: 280
1st: -25bhp
2nd: -20bhp
3rd: -14bhp
4th: -8bhp
5th: -3bhp

Wow! At the end of this some people are going to have so little BHP!

It would be better of you did percentages. If you took 15BHP off the car with the most then 15BHP off the car with the lest the car with the most BHP is going to have less of an effect when reducing the power. The car with the lest is going to have a bigger effect on the cars poformance.

That's what we've done, hence it's a percentage 👍

The penalty is lower then what it was last season, so even at race 3 if you win both races, it balances out. realistically you shouldn't though

Right, just thinking out loud here.

If I joined one of the current teams (2 drivers), raced under the team name but stayed as an independent, if one of the 2 team drivers couldn't make a round or one of the races on the night could my results then go towards the "team" championship for that round/race?

But would this mean that if I do cover for a vacant driver for a round/race that my points wouldn't go towards the "independent" championship?

yep, you can stand in but points won't be scored for indy 👍

That's only softcore mate, when it comes to PS1, this is the hard stuff... :D
