Endurance racing!
How many of you would be interested in a longer format endurance race run a few days before the main racing on Thursday nights as a warm-up/tuning session and as a separate relaxed championship series.

Exact times and dates are up in the air but if we have a few who are interested then it is something that I will run, I have enjoyed it in the past.

You have the backup car then.I managed to start my engine on the first day of the season
I have spoken to true about this and he is well aware of my plans, SJTCC Endurance, if people want it, will probably run on Monday nights assuming that is the most suitable night for everyone who wants to get involved.
Monday? Surely it'd have to start after or before GTTCC Endurance then?

The plan is that its not really a separate series, it is more of an opportunity for everyone to get together and tune things before the main series on the Thursday, with a points system to add intruige and strategy.
Endurance might be the wrong term, It would probably only be an hour long.

Laid back yet has a points system? Seems a bit counter intuitive.
Laid back as in not the main focus of the series, a points system just because its hardly any more effort so why not, it proved reasonable popular in GTTCC and made for some decent racing so I would like to continue it over here.

Don't mind endurance, but I'll only make the ones I can make.
Need I say my work can get in the way lol.
As for going flat out where the wall of death is no I don't go flat out.
Think the best min speed from me round it been 104mph, but I can hit low 90s to.
It's a bend I do thinking right going in, but I never really know the out come!

Of course mate, do your Mondays tie in with your Thursdays or would another work better for you?
Agreed, 104s is about right, I saw 106 in the Mini but I couldn't string much together through there in the other cars, in truth I was gaining most of my time by sliding it through the complex heading into the tunnel.

Monday the 6th will be my first Monday off, so my shift will roll for 4 Mondays meets.

Sb360 I work 4 on 4 off, I leave for work about 17:00 and get home around 07:00.

Announcement time:
The spreadsheet is finally (I think) finished! The link to it is here, I have done it so that the sheet can be updated during the evening in real time. Everything should automatically update the scores, standings and positions. Please have a poke around and see if you can spot any problems with it
I am thinking that we will implement a minimum of two drivers scoring for each team in every round subject to the current plan as detailed in the OP, I don't want to have a situation where one team fields only one driver and everyone else is penalised for it, what do people think about this?
Edit: I have changed the link, editing is now permitted but everything should be locked down enough that nothing can be broken, please feel free to try though. It is only a copy of my master sheet and knowing what does and doesn't work now is a lot better than finding out mid season

I know I need to add an endurance tab on the spreadsheet, I think that endurance is going to be a straight up race, no points for anything other than finishing position as it is aimed at being an opportunity to test/tune/practice with a simple championship built around it.

What a motogp race tonight, never boring like F1 lol.
Also got a new game coming for my PS4, I'm sort of jumping up and down.
Well I sort of agree with what this youtube guy says this game maybe a little like GT6.
A racing game not a sim, I'm a little shocked I missed this one coming out
But it's on it ways
Anyway I good youtube vide of what this game about, oh and it's called Ride.
