Well that's pretty much my point, despite a black spot in a models history, manufacturers know that people have a Passion for these older cars... And that's why they revive classic designs/nameplates.
To suggest that the Z8 is a bad idea simply because the 507 was priced out of the market is silly.
Not saying that its a bad idea because the 507 was such a lemon - I just think that an auto manufacturer shouldn't be celebrating a vehicle that brought them to the brink of colapse. When they have such a long history of producing probably the worlds best sporting saloons, a misjudged sports car isn't something they should be proud of, especially since it was hardly ground breaking at the time, with other manufacturers doing the same thing but so much better. Like WW2 era large Mercedes convertables, they're collectors items due to their dubious connections.
