Well Dunc didn't play today so he's now 1 point behind Casio but he has a game in hand. The next games a big un for me, it's me v Casio again. Last game was pretty cclose, finished with me winning 1-0. Since then we've both made additions to our teams so this will be interesting.

Sorry Omnis if my team hammered your team 6 nil, but you knew it was over at half-time since you were losing 5 nil during that period.

Update:

Just looked Omnis has been sacked. However I am fancying my chances against Magson FC in my next game.

MP United must have played really, really badly because despite you winning 6-0 and one of your players scoring a hat-trick, no-one from your team has got into the X11 side this round. That's hard luck if you ask me.

Stephanos scored twice today, he's now scored 4 goals in as many games so that's good. Hubert is fortunately back for the game against Casio, he was suspended for the last match. Sadly one of my young hopefuls has been injured, Norm Greaves, he's going to be a fantastic player in a few seasons imo and his form is incredible at the moment as well, I hope the injury doesn't sky dive it. His average is high though so it won't be hard to get it back up and it shouldn't have a big effect on his average.

I would rather have my team thinking about future matches, then being in the X11 side, because I reckon when ever a player makes it into the X11 side, the player will most likely has his mind on two things, which is not good.

Anyway I reckon the main game for me in the next two games, will be against Red Star Belgravia, because that team is above me and keeping out of my reach at the moment.

No the X11 side is just the best perfoming players of that round, it doesn't affect your players performance in any way rather your players performance affects the X11. All it does to your player, is increases his stats for the number of times he's been in the X11 side. The plus side to that is that whoever has the most at the end of a season get's some cash and they get a merit in their profile. The other side is that if you have a player who's nearly always in the X11 side, you know he's a far more consistenly good player than someone who's not been in it that much.

5 yellows in my game (some aggressive play no doubt), but luckily only one to my team.

I play Omnis next but I'm worried they're due for a win - could be interesting. I'm still way ahead of my pre-season goal so I'm happy.

He got sacked, didn't you see the status in his teams main info page.

My first Golden League match starts today. Too bad they run a 'cup' series too - it means I only get one league game a week. Maybe I'll get past the first round of the cup and get a few more games in.

i have a team in the Master league, rubbish team, I only took it over a couple of weeks ago. They were bottom of their division and my first game was against the team at the top. I won, I am no longer bottom of the division eaither. I'm not all thast fussed though with this team, as soon as I've been in charge long enough I'm going to take over a better club in the Job center. Unless by that time I've somehow become attached to this team.

4-1 Victory and I came back from 1-0 at half time to score four goals in the second half :)

I've been beaten for the first tme this season, a big well done to Casio. He got his tactics right and I got mine very wrong for this one. Cut's my lead down by 3 points, if Dunc wins his game in hand then he will be in second place. 3 points behind. This season could end very tight, I tihnk Casio has done fantastic to come back upto the top like he has done though, 3 weeks ago he was mid table, a couple of weeks before that he was right near the bottom.

I am glad my team won there last match, but I am not happy about two of my good players getting injured for such a crucial up and coming game.

Big gmae tomorrow, not decided on my match tactis yet. I will be trying sometihng different to how I played against Casio though, my team didn't play well at all in that match.

The table so far with 10 rounds to go.

Finally got within a game of the top. Although my heart did skip a beat when they got the first goal! Lucky I managed to get the next 4, and they were nice and made it 5 :)

Got myself back on top of the all time list too. 👍 I'm quite happy that I'm the third lowest on the Goals Against list, if they can't score you're much more likely to win.

Next match hopefully will be pretty easy for me, maybe SMFC can draw with Brackley to make it even at the top?! 💡

My game against Somebody FC could decide my team’s season for me, but what do you guys think will be the main game for round 19. Anyway I am glad Ed Teather got into the Xpert Eleven after scoring 4 goals in his last game.

True I do apologise for not noticing how close you are. Dunc, should he win his game in hand, can go level on points with me.

But at least you have this round off, while I've got to play Red Star. Two big games for me in two rounds is begging for injury or card problems.
I hope Red Star can win there game against you, so I can have a chance to close the gap on you.

No-one has taken over, it's being run by a caretaker manager. AKA the computer.

Nice press release Brett, it certainly was a performance showcase round for us top 4 teams. I didn't realise our combined scores were 18-0. not a single goal scored against us.

Win of the week goes to Brakley FC, 5-0.

Casio takes top spot in the league provisionally since I didn't play this round, regardless though, that's a big achievment for Casio since he had such a poor start to the season. Casio doesn't play in the very last round, that's where I play my game in hand and that could well be when the title is decided, as well as second and third and potentially fourth. Only 7 rounds to go. Last but not least, congrats to the manager of the month, TVR&FF. Again, you've had quite a few of thoes if I recall.

Ah crap! I drew with Downley Athletic which means the title is pretty much gone for me. :(

Winning the game in hand puts you level with Casio for points, but casio has the best goal difference in the league.

Yay, 2-1 Win over Red Star, if they lose their next game or two then I could go up to 6th.
