Dan Vimes doesn't seem to be anything more than average, you've got better players than him in your squad. You've got 4 other mid-fielders who I'd rate as better than him overall or as having more potential than him.

Having a closer look I can now see that he's not that important. Maybe I still stand a chance of 3rd for the season after all.

Have no fear, my 1st choice captain is still ready to go back into the squad. I have my doubts over if he'll be ready in time for the game and one of my two strikers has been injured today, he'll be out the game. Still, it should be a good show either way, don't forget, we play each other twice, and I'd expect the games against Casio city to be tough as well. I don't expect either of us to go through the whole season unbeaten, it's going to be a question of who loses one game and whole loses two imo.

Would you believe it, a 1 all draw 👍. Keeps it interesting and in terms of points per game, it keeps us level.

Looking at the match report I'd say that was a pretty easy win, 60% possession, 5 times as many chances, their only chance was their goal. He's not got a bad team but it looks like you got the tactics right.

On another note 4 of my players got in this rounds X11 team. Out next game is against Casio city, after than Dunc plays Casio twice in a row then shortyl after I play Dunc again.

My god I'm having some bad luck with my team captain.

I just got this mail today.
The trainer is so angry after a training session that his football shoe flies through the air and hits Brett Lightbody right on the forhead so badely the player has to have seven stiches. Brett Lightbody wants to leave the club and therefore loses some form.

He's just recovered from an injury and now he goes all David Beckham on me.

Indeed, it's a very high pressure match for me. I'm looking forwards to it, it's just a damn pity that the training cach had to go and piss Brett off, he's one of my key players and his form is on the up but because of that it's not up enough for him to go into the starting eleven.

Finally the lead may be better for the fans, because I don't like seeing the league being just a 2 horse race already. But you better wave good bye to Brett.

If I lose it will become 3 horse race, me, Dunc and Casio. If I win which is obviousely what I want then it will remain just me and Dunc up front. In a way, Dunc will probably be hoping I win, Casio is last seasons champion and he's on a role, Dunc has to play him twice in a row, a loss now could play in Duncs favour. That said, so would a draw, just not by quite as much.

But you better wave good bye to Brett.

Why when he's on his way back up, he just won't be in the starting eleven this game, he should be next, unless he gets hit on the head by another flying boot . There's a good two seasons left in him I think.

I just noticed the time, the matches have been played and I won 1-0, we both hit the posts once in the second half and there was more possesion from my team but more chances form Casio's. Close game from the look of it. This season could go to the last match, I play my game in hand over Dunc in the very last round. so if by the last round I'm 3 points behind Dunc, it's possibly going to be all down to goal difference, and with me only winning 1-0 today and Dunc winning 4-1, the goal difference gap has closed significantly.

Oh and TVRFan, congrats. Your the X11 team manager of the round 👍.

How do you know that, also I wonder how I pulled that off?

If you click the league tab on the left, there's a menu on the right. One of the options is "Xpert Eleven", click that and it tells you who's got into the X11 squad for that round.

You need to be careful squad wise, you've only got 15 players now, one of them is injured, so thats 14 available players. 2 of thoes are low skilled, but they are both younger so they have potential to improve. You need to think about buying though. As for the table, your bang in the middle of table now.

I know Live, but I am working on it. However people are trying to get more money out of me, when I am bargain hunting. Also I am waiting for my sponsor activity to come up, so I can invest in a new Goal Keeper.

That sounds really interesting, because not many people use it.

Yes but not much. If you make one press release per week over a certain nunmber of characters long (250 I think) you get 200 econ from your sponsor for the publicity. It only works for one press release, if you do two in one week over that lenth you still only get 00 econ.

I am still waiting for my next Striker bid to get accepted or not, I just hope my only injury free Striker does not get injured.

You've sold too many players imo, if your two players who are on a last yellow card warning get booked again you'll have zero subs on the bench until they're allowed back and your injured striker is fit. If I'm making a serious bid for a player I think I need, I'll bid at least twice the asking price. Even then most of the time I'm out-bid by someone in a nother league. Are any of your players adaptive and able to play in any position? Last game I played a defender in attack because he was able to play anywhere, he scored the winning goal.

How's this for gratitude!? I just put a player back in the line up to give him a go after some serious training, and he now goes and signs up for the UN so he can be sent to Bosnia for 2 weeks.

Luckily he's not that important; just a backup player.

Despite military duties interfering with my plans, I managed a win. But for only the second time this season my team has no representation in the xpert11.

That was the biggest thumping I've ever dealt out. Something ridiculous like 13 chances and a 6-0 whitewash.
