I was hoping Somebody FC was not going to win against Casio City, since somebody's latest win ruled out my chances to move up to 4th.

You'd have needed them to lose every remaining game though, that's not happening. Even if they did lose, they play Brackley next Weds, I can't see them losing that.

Talking about Brackley FC, I'm just glad I beat Brackley FC.

Well, the seasons pretty much over. I'm happy with my season, but I was given a good run for my money from Dunc, Casio and Brett, and once the season got going even Sagaris FC became a force worth noticing, notching up some good wins and draws. 3rd place isn't set yet though, so the last round is still a big one.

Well, I managed to lose to Brackley so that's pretty much finished it for the season - I can't really see myself beating the #1 team in the final round.

I may have lost, but I am still happy with the result more Live4speed, however I still wanted to win, but like I said I am mainly still happy with the result. Anyway before I head off, unlucky about the two injures in the latest game.

well, the season is over, we'll all get our season updates in 2 weeks. In the meantime if anyone else would like to join they can, if we got enough people we could have 2 divisions with say 10 teasm in each division.

Yay, I beat the best team in the league in the final match. Of course a few of my players have terrible average form so it may not be all good for me come update time.

Yep, I wanted to win that, but not at the expense of injuries and bookings so I toned the aggression down a little, and I then went on to pick my only red card of the season .

The season updates have arrived, I now have an 8 skilled player and all of my youngsters have gone up a skill level. which is nice. If anyone on this site wants to join the next season, now is the time to ask. The next season will carry on with the same format, two games a week, Saturdays and Wednesdays, unless anyone has a problem with Weds (I can't change Sat).

I'm in for the next season. My team is generally stronger but I had a couple go backwards. I need to handle my finances a whole lot better this season.

Agreed, I wasted a lot of money on evaluating players in the transfer market but not having enough funds to make a high enough bid to win. I think most purchases I make this season will be from direct offers.

Anyone have any objections to the new season starting a week tomorrow? We have no new entries unfortunately. What would you guys this to making the season a bit more open next season to get a few more teams in, perhaps open it up to a couple of other xpert eleven members. I'm not talking loads, just maybe if be can get 16 teams we can have a 2 division league going or something. Any thoughts?

Damn, 2-2 against George united. That's not a result I expected. congrats to you though, got your first taste of the top spot. I'll have to make sure I look at my tactics better for my next match I think, we played the exact same tactic, but my team has higher skill ratings. Technically, we should have won, but that bogey factor kicks in sometimes. Anyone can beat anyone on their day. Looking at the possesion and chances taen it does look like we were a ;ottle bit unlucky. Oh well, theres plenty of time left in the season.

Bet you are, first time you've taken points form me, and so far this season it seems like they're well deserved. I'm hoping for a big comeback though, my next game is against Somebody FC.

I'm just pushing your buttons George. That said, I do expect to win every match so any result that gives less than 3 points is a suprise in a bad way, I've had a few bad suprises this season .

Edit - Yay, I finally got a succsessful offer. I now have a Skilled 9 Goalkeeper.

I got a good win today over Somebody FC, I got manager of the round for the X11 team and 7 players in the X11 squad. needless to say, I'm happy with the way it went.
