Yeah I have no idea how that happened. Not one incident at all in the second half!

My usual packing of 5 defenders per game I think helped me get through 16 games with only 9 goals scored against me. Is a 5-2-3 formation common in football, or is it something I've just kinda invented?

Last games of the current season are today, so if joining is still locked tomorrow it'll be within 4 days I think.

On another note I got the best goalscorer and the most goals/assists which has neeted me 500,000 econ, which is nice considering I finished 4th.

I don't think you have to sign up again after each season in the same league, I didn't. Anywhoo I've challenged you to a friendly, get a couple of my players running about who were left out of my last game. If you do accept, I will be playing to win.

0-0 in that friendly, i do beleive that's the first time you've not beaten me . I challenge Bee next, you lost a pretty good player after the season, that seemed pretty harsh to me, he could have at least given you a second season with him having a skill rating of 7 and all.

You buy them in the transfer section, or you occasionally get the chance to bring a youth team player up into the first team. You can have upto 20 players.

His players did do the talking last season when he won the league. Mine all got food poisoning and ended my superb start to the season.

New season starts on Wednesday, so you got 4 days to wort out transfers and training, also we have some new teams! Hurrah!

Casio City is the reigning champs from Season 1.

A couple of the new teams had decent starts 👍. But be warned, I had a fantastic start last season, first 3 games I won 3-0, but I ended up in 4th thanks to a bad run mid season. I'm happy with my start, 4-1, and my most prolific goal scorer of last season wasn't on the sheet, but I'm not taking it for granted that I'm going to finish top three, not yet.

Oh and btw, a bit of info for the new guys, if you make a 250 character + press release each week, your sponsor will give you 200 econ, which is really handy for training players. The press releases have t be in the spirit of the game though, anything about your weekend, or leaving a message to another palyer will be delete by moderators and they'll penalise you.

How do you buy players, I can't because the 'Place Bid' button is unclickable.

The place bid button is unclickable if you don't have enough money to make the minimum required bid. You've just started not too long ago, so you can only bid on players that fall within your wealth. Note that just because you've made a bid, doesn't mean that your gaurenteed to get the player, even if no one else bids if you bid the minimum your bid might be refused.
