Some questions:

If you have all Gold from first time: do several cars release = the all levels gold car, the passing the level car, maybe sometime a all levels silver car, ....
or should you fiddle = not come in above bronze to get the first car, improve to silver to get the next, improve to gold to get the final.

It's just like GT4, where if you get all gold at first, it gives you all 3.

Thank you Amar 👍
glad the winds are not whispering anymore and it is real stuff.

I'm not reading the spoilers, since I trust your judgment on this, thanks for leaving some surprise. I agree good to know all gold releases another car then when you have some bronze.

Still very mysterious to me:
1) The game imported automatically GT5p cars?
2) You have enough budget at the start to by a F40?
3) You can use any car in time trial, even the ones you did not buy for career mode?

Also very interested in the DLC.
My pre-order states I need to download the Chrome models, I guess the same is true for the Stealth ones. Let us know if you get to try downloading something like this.

I think he said it was arcade mode!

1&2&3: Arcade Mode :)

Amar: Can you take look about damage model? Thanks.

First of all, thanks a lot for the great review you are doing. It is answering many questions for us. Me myself am looking most forward to the rallying mode. Could you tell us more about the creation of point to point rally stages, the physics, sound and even car setup?

Thanks!

I'm looking forward to more details about the course maker, it's absolutely the most important new feature in GT, maybe and hopefully its brightest future. :)

2 questions regarding Karting and the Kart Track Generators:

1: Can you drive a Kart anywhere?
2: Can you drive a car on a Kart track?

Thanks.

guys follow everything look at what he posts and don't ask him so many questions give him time to live and enjoy his game also

I think Its just stupid that they did not include a damn hood cam and a clutch support.
More then 5 years and they can't do 2 simple things like that? (oh and no turbo sounds as usual right?) Just sad =(

Anyway, nice review man and thanks!

Any further info on headtracking.
does it only work for the premium cars and cockpit view or does headtracking work in bumper, chase view?

amar, there's been som controversy over the circuit list - is the one posted on the news page and the game website accurate, or are there more to be unlocked?

Update #4 is up, regards :)

Nice!
Thank you very much for addressing my obnoxious line of questions!

EDIT: Have you also read my post regarding brakes and brake fading? Yes you did, sorry for not reading your update fully.

EDIT2: I wrote about this matter here too. From Tekken90's GT5 videos it appeared that brakes couldn't be upgraded, and that worried me a bit about their fading behavior.

Tire-snap is now logical, you can feel the surface, suspension and weight on tires and you can perfectly determine what is going on with the tire-grip. I'm impressed with modeling of suspensions - feel of the road is phenomenal and in every moment you know what your car is doing through the force feedback effect delivered on the wheel.

You have a constant idea what your car is doing and you just know when you did something wrong. It is very difficult to explain by words, but all variables that determines the feel of the car on particular part of the track are linked perfectly. You just know when you're going over the top, when the line you've taken will not be good or when you've applied the wrong steer. Also, greatest improvement is done in realms of racing cars, where Kazunori finally reached the levels of his only inspiration, Yu Suzuki's masterpiece F355 Challenge. Sense of speed through corners is now perfect. The insane level of grip and power of race cars has been finally toned down, and feeling of having an ultimate driving machine now comes from ability to steer perfectly, to have control of throttle and brakes, to feel the suspension and to have time to prepare for next maneuver. Refinement in this area is the most important to me, because in all previous GT games I had problems with insanity of race cars. Now everything is in place as it should be, and I love that aspect most.

These are my favourite paragraphs. Good news, very good news.

Thanks for sharing all this.

Update #4 is up, regards :)

Thanks alot Amar, VERY in depth which will ease many peoples minds i'm sure. I believe this is the only review we'll see of the game that will go into this much detail. Overall impressions so far are through the roof in my eyes. Looking forward to the next update mate. Keep up the great work!

Really enjoy reading this!! :) Thanks Amar 👍 !!

Really making me excited even more, if that is even possible.. :P

Update #4 is up, regards :)

Thanks again Amar.
Could You answer my guestion in next update ?

Is there any hood view in standard cars like in some replays?
Or only roof, bumper and behind a car?
Maybe there's a posibility of changing the roof view just like interior view (options like: upper, lower cam etc.) ?
I will be really excited if You could answer my question.
Thanks again for the review

Have read it now, it's amazing, and you describe the game very well.

Looking forward to your next updates, thanks! :)

Brilliant update from Amar about the physics because it must be extremely difficult to explain with words because its something you have to experience yourself.

Another thing I will ask is did I read it right that come 24th Nov we shall have an update which means you actually download the online features of GT5 and these features don't come on the disc?

Thank you for keeping us updated Amar.
Just when i post a question regarding headtracking you update.
Eagerly awaiting the next update.

Cheers amar, keep em comin mate!

Read your part about the car sounds. That's excellent to hear. 👍
But do muscle cars (Chevrolet Camaro, Holden Monaro, Dodge Charger etc..) Sound like they should?
