Ok, dont want this turning into TOCA, going to PM.

EDIT: It was definately FraiserCrane that gave him the damage at the 1st corner :(, I hit him just before the line but gave him no damage at all on the start :S

Im not having ago at anyone Im sure its a genuine mistake, and it is only a game, but Im not getting a penalty for something I didnt do, even if it is at the end of the day only 5 points on a game :P

Was about to come in and ask how fast these cars go around SSRX, but now suddenly I probably can't make it.

PM sent.

Yeah, probably about what Knelly said Mule. Shame you can't make it man.

Drivers championship is turning into a non competition it seems, I had a slim chance of catching Joe but to be honest, with a 50 point gap, I need him to DC or finish 11th 5 weeks in a row to challenge him

Tables up momentarily.

I'll check yours again neljack.

Yeah no worries if it says I hit him on your replay then no qualms about pen at all as thats what you see :P. Will be another replay mix up like we had with Smuffy's tyres, which is very annoying :ouch:

I checked it again neljack. When the field accelerated for the restart after you hit Indy, he accelerated very slowly despite being on full throttle. No damage showed up on my replay, but his acceleration matched that of other incidents of engine damage. There were one or two other engine damage penalties where the damage didn't show up on the replay either, despite the acceleration being clearly affected by it and the driver pitting to fix it.

Compare his acceleration to that of Fraiser on that restart. (see how long it takes both drivers to get from one speed to another, such as from 100 to 120mph)

EDIT: Neljack, you just reminded me that I forgot to check for tyre compounds on the replay.

Ya see this is the difference on mine, he has damage to his left rear on mine from laps ago :P

That wouldn't affect his acceleration though.

Damage is a little messed up on my replay anyway, but the performance of the cars tells me all I need. e.g on that restart my replay shows you as having engine damage and left rear damage.

Im not gonna lie, I think with any uncertainty for anyones penalty its harsh, I still disagree with it, to be honest.

It'd be like the stewards in F1 making a decsion with the toss of a coin :/

Like Cowboys said, no biggie its a game. But very disapointed if thats how the outcome is made, harsh in my opinion.

It wasnt just me that came to the decisions on penalties, and everyone involved decided on the same things. I put the entire penalty list up for checking and confirming, and we agreed on it all. One reason for me asking for confirmation etc was the damage being a bit off in my replay.

Cowboys: For the lap 35 thing, the field slowed down to allow you to catch up in time for the restart. when the field slowed down fastfox had an incident (and a penalty for it) with kartman and ragequit. If you had been caught up, the field wouldn't have slowed down for you and that incident would have been avoided.

I said "Don't wait for me, go"

And Fastfox was already being called out as "Careless" during the race wasn't he?

Fair enough Im not blaming Joe or anyone :P. Not that sort of person, I just disagree :P

Don't worry mate. Most of us have gone through the same at some point. Never nice when you race as fairly and cleanly as you can, then you get done.

Massive problem.

Myself and Joe were just testing SSRX for Indycar, and the pit entry is broken in the last update.

Whatever speed you go in at, even as low as 10 MPH, and even within the lines, you get a drive through every single time.

Therefore, the races this weekend are ruined.

Ouch.

How about splitting the races like we're doing at Daytona later in the season? How far can we go on fuel here?

This isn't for setup etc. Purposes, it's so I know how long to make the races.

I don't know if it's gonna be fun to run 200 miles at this track with tyre wear/fuel off; since there's no strategy it'll just be flooring it in a line for an hour.

How about a track change?

Maybe run a Daytona/Indy/HSR triple sprint for no points?

I want to run for points to be honest.

How about we just leave it and skip a week forward to HSR?

Or maybe pick a random track on the calender and make it a second race?

I'd prefer to move a week forward partly because currently the final race takes place 3 hours before I leave to go on holiday. Moving forward would make things easier for me to finalise all the results etc at the end.
