Like I said above man, it's more practical to just leave it out and continue with the season.

I like this decision. Works for me and I call myself free for HSR and the 500 - slot permitting.

Also means, the Brickyard 500 and the Nationwide Brickyard 400 are on the same-day so that will please Joe and entice him to perhaps not run in the Nationwide on that day. :sly:

Also, since i'm off school next week I can probably run some mid week races as preparation for everybody which is a plus.
 
Then there was no point changing the schedule of HSR then. I won’t be back until the 10th and will miss HSR, and that was why the race was swapped round.
 
Maybe a road course like Suzuka perhaps?!?! or we can just skip to HSR doesn't matter to me.

Akmuq- end of lap 3 incident causing engine damage to IndianWolf. -5 points.

Artmannn- gave cowboys and fraiser engine damage on the pace lap. Also gave fraiser engine damage on lap 34 (lap 35 for the leaders). -9 points

Neljack- gave IndianWolf engine damage on lap 32/33 restart. -5 points

FastFox- hits Knelly into ADR, giving both of them engine damage. Also gave gokartman engine damage when the field slowed for what would have been the lap 35/36 restart. -7 points.

Cowboys- Restarts and the lap before the restarts. Would drop far behind on the final caution lap and then get a massive run to pass cars as they were given the green. From his car, they happened at the end of laps 3, 31, 35, and 38. On 2 occasions he did this despite another car being beind him for the restart, and had attempts at his starts aborted to to delayed restarts on laps 33 and 34. The incident where the field slowed down before an attempted restart on lap 35 (34 from his car) was to let him catch up to the pack before the restart (Which wouldn't have happened since he was hanging back for each restart). -13 points.

*Cowboys penalty subject to change, final confirmation needed. Just though I'd get the rest out ASAP. Tables coming later.

You sent them to Joe like I told everyone to? If you did so, I'm sure they were considered.

EDIT: I've come to a decision, SSRX will be dropped this week and the season shortened by a round. We will still race tomorrow but at Daytona; the Twin 100's will be brought forward. Next week (8th June) will be the Indy 500 followed on the 15th by HSR.
 
There is maintenance in 11 hours time, hopefully fixing the bugs they created from fixing the bugs they already had.

If they fix SSRX pit lane, will we still race here for the full distance scheduled?

Since I've committed now, I'll probably reschedule it for after the 500.
 
Really doesn't change things that much, and I was all set for a weekend of SSRX (as SC are still running).
 
Welp.. Looks like I wont make either the SC or Indy race.. Going to Palm Beach Saturday after work.
 
As we are a lot faster here, how about setting the put speed limit to say, 100 mph?

Also, how is quali going to work tonight?

Just get a fast car.. Not exactly hard to lap on Comforts Hards around here like..

I was talking about pit entry speed, not pace car speed.

Speaking of pace cars, are we going to take full-lap cautions? Or, can we run sector cautions, where we can just go green when we all get back together and pass a certain line (IE, "Going back to green at the 8300 meter line")? The likelihood of being anywhere NEAR the pace car on an 18.82 mile track is almost zero.

Might this race run smoother with no cautions at all and light damage? I don't really want to try to drive 16 miles with heavy damage at speed, or under caution. I think a track this large can definitely receive an exception to some rules.
 
I agree, the way our cautions work we will need light damage here, but with that the cautions can work with lead car as pace car.

We'll do a 1 lap qualifying race like the Cup does.

As for pit speed entry I don't see many issues with the normal limit, it's not like these cars take long to slow down, you can pull up in a couple of seconds. I know we go 30-40mph slower at Daytona and Indy but we still slow down there.
