I went on wets aswell but didn't pit at the end of the formation lap as i thought it was against the rules as the race hasn't started really. I cannot do 1 stop on any race as i eat tyres no matter how i try and drive, i dont think the controller helps. I missed having a race long battle with Tissimo as he and I are very close and fair, if we touch each other we wait etc.

I will be a reserve for season 3 as i struggle for time in the summer tbh.

I might be able to do weekday races better than weekend depending what times we go for.

Congrats to Bombe and Audi . I'm not at home so I don't know how the rest of the points fall atm. I left I was so pissed about what happened in my race.

Provided it starts no later than 4pm EST if it is on the weekdays as I'm running by BST so when you guys are all racing at mid afternoon, its late night for me. During the week, I can only stay up so long.

The R10 is too slow, don't go with it. I would recommend it to be banned from the championship, it's not competitive, unfortunately.

Weekdays don't suit me either here in GMT. I think it should stay as it is on Saturday's. Depends on everyone else though.

I too don't like the weekday race, but an official race practice session on a weekday could be cool, so that we could get to race each other some more and compare lap times for Saturday's race.
 
The C60 Hybride is a good car, but those Peskies are hard to set-up, their suspension is weird :) But it's probably the 2nd fastest on a straight line, only beaten by the GT-one.
 
Does it understeer, oversteer... what does it do? I hope I can get the money, I'm always broke. Only have 800,000 at the moment.
 
So basically, me and Razor upon viewing the replay of today's race have made some disturbing discoveries.

Ayrtonschumacher as we know is generally the fastest driver in our series, and I believe that he is legitimately that. By a bit. But, however, it also appears that something is going on out of line.

During the first few laps of the race, he routinely ran 265 mph down ALL straights, with NO draft. He ran lap times of 3'18 (normal), 314 ( the fast edge of normal), then, inexplicably, he runs a 3'07 with NO draft. He gaps Razor, who was the second fastest driver in our race today, by 10 seconds in one lap, then immediately slows back to a fast but possible pace of 3'15's.

This is clear hacking. He didn't cut a single chicane, or even push the envelope as some of us do from time to time. Just went 10 seconds above pace with no draft, only straight line speed. I'm pretty annoyed at the idea of cheating in a game, which is done for fun by us, with no reward except pride for winning. It's stupid and defeats the purpose of gaming altogether.

I'd like to propose stripping points and the privilege of racing in this series from now on from AS, UNLESS he has a really good explanation for running 30 mph above what seems to be possible, and picking up 8 seconds over his normal pace out of the blue.

Just started the replay... 3.07 is impossible unless the chicanes are cut. Will get back to this in a moment, just needs to find the place where it happens.

I doubt that he's a cheater though, but no matter what, I want to see that lap.

Before you start throwing hacking accusations around, has there ever been a documented case in Gran Turismo 5 multiplayer of a driver being able to modify his car beyond the race server restrictions?
 
yup and im the star witness to the 265 mph, after he passes me and hockey around lap 5-7 i tried to stay with him on the straight but he was actually going way faster then my 787 while i was in his draft maxing out around 243 mph, and he simply gain 10 sec on me easily in one lap,, or i should say half of lap and if im not mistaken he did a 3.07.xxx that lap.................................. the second fastest time recorded was 3.14.100 which was set by me then jake with a 3.14.500 but to be 7 seconds faster than the top runners without cutting chicane is pretty impossible if u ask me

watch his lap 6 and tell me a possible way it's legit, if it was legit, he'd run that speed every lap
 
Now where is he at this moment. This needs some explaining. I'm neutral on this, it could just have the absolute best set-up and absolute best driving.

There was something weird going on today Bermuda couldn't hang onto my car even in the draft when i went past him, we are both in Bentleys and i was trying to let him get a tow. He says when he turned his mic off he instantly went faster and back on his normal pace.

yea, before we start accusing people. I have not ever even heard of people hacking GT5.

Something was wrong with my game or connection or w/e. My speed in the corners were fine but my lap times were way off. my first 5 laps all i could manage was a 3:35 razor As and even nashy all past me like i was standing still and i was unable to keep up in their draft. My time through each sector was off by 5 seconds :(
As soon as i turned my mic off i was able to do a 3:22 but it was too late, the damage had already been done and i just pulled into the pits.
 
Clearly, some bug is going on on lap 6. AS is reaching max speed almost instantly going out on the long-straights and he drives over 400 km/h all the way. However, as I know, his connection has never been the best and it must have something to do with a delay from his earlier laps.

Only way I can see that we can get the real lap time, is if AS himself saved the replay, from his version it is not lagging.

that could be explained by the damp track early in the race though. I know i was doing 3'20's early, which was about 5 seconds off of my fresh tire pace, and the Bentley or your particular setup (no TC etc) could have exascerbated the problem.

Turning off your mic can help? Mine was on the entire race. I guess this could depend on your connection type and such.

when has a bad connection ever picked somebody up by 8 seconds? hmmmm. I don't mean to throw around accusations. What I am trying to do is bring a problem to light so we have fair ground for everyone.
