Same here, though I know at least with some companies it's 7500 miles. (technically speaking, so long as the car's not driven on public roads, it doesn't have to be insured) I pull the 7's insurance in winter & MX-3's in summer. Miata gets my love rain, snow or shine though.![]()

In the UK, to have a classic car it has to be over 25 years old at least. Then you can buy classic car insurance, pay no tax (at least I still think it's like that) etc.
