What's up with BMW naming conventions? You always knew where you were before. You knew that a 318 had a 1.8, a 525 had a 2.5, 535 had a 3.5 etc. But now they are all over the place.
A BMW with a 2.7 engine should be a 327! The 320 now has a 2.2! The 545 has a 4.4! The 540 has a 4.4 too! What's going on there?
The 325, 325i, and 325is all have 2.5-liters. The 325e and 325es are the economy cars, so they have bigger motors, more torque, but way fewer rpm and less horsepower.
