Heres my Honda Integra Type R, imported. I recently sold my 1998 Acura Integra (With Type R conversion kit and a bunch of performance parts). Heres my Black Honda Integra Type R(and yes its a 4 door, i use this for convenience wise). It has C-west front bumper and side skirts, Mugen wing, Spoon Cat Back exhaust etc.

Could you just put a peice of paper on the hood that says "AznDrifter from GTP" or whatever your name is, on the hood.

Or else Im gonna call BS long and loud, for the moment.

I imported it from Hong Kong. I forgot to mention that the pics were taken from the cardomain page of the previous owner.

Conflict of terminology. There is NO SUCH THING as a 4-door Honda Integra Type-R - it's a 2 door coupe only.

That picture is of a 4-door Type-R wannabe.

Untrue - and I'm shocked to see such an error on your part! The 4-door Integra Type-R is rare as hell, but it does exist - every so often one pops up for sale on eBay or Autotrader here, and they tend to see about as much interest as the hatch. I've never seen one in person, but it competes with the current NSX with the automatic transmission for the title of 'rarest Acura ever,' though I think the Type-R sedan's got it wrapped up; I think someone (PunkRock?) quoted me a production figure of 100.

Acura - pffft!

Honda UK say there's no 4-door (5 door? It's a hatch after all) Integra Type-R, so I'm not likely to know any better than this.

Well, the dealership is putting it through as a warranty issue - pending SOA's approval. I'm still waiting. Here's hoping...it'd be really nice, since the bill looks to be ~$5,000 for the replacement. Getting a $5,900 tax return check this year, so it'd be covered - but it sure would be nice to spend that one something else.

Just an update for those who care - SOA is covering my transmission replacement under warranty! w00!

I dont think anyone did when you said that. BTW the 4 door wudnt be called a 5 door ITR, its called a 4 door hardtop, ur thinkin of ITR 3door coupe. Anyways lets go back to our topic ok?:)

Why, so we forget that you posted a lie, claiming to own a car that was not yours?

Not going to happen any time soon.

It was a conversion btw. Also I'm getting the ITR engine as my future plan
Why didn't we spot this earlier? He must've resprayed it too.

Anit it great when someone gets shown up for lying, it's not hard to prove you have a certain car, I only dive an old 97 Ibiza, I could do without the expense of a faster car right now, but my dream is to own a TVR Tuscan or Sagaris someday.

Really? I'm fairly sure ours was a true 4-door sedan for two generations:

1990-1993
92801011990103LRG.jpg

1994-2001
94801011990105LRG.jpg

We only got the 1994-2001 as a Type-R, obviously, and even then we only got the Type-R in 1997, 1998, 2000, and 2001 (supposedly). I still say the 94-01 GS-R sedan is the best-looking Acura (yes, Acura :P) yet.

The sedan shape has never been very popular in the UK. As far as I'm aware, we got a 1.6 Integra in 3-door/5-door hatch form from the late 80s to early 90s, and then the current shape Integra as a Type-R 3-door hatch from 1998-2002. We're still waiting on news of the new Integra Type-R shape...

The whole lying thing kind of reminds me of the whole "Turbo Speaker" item thats out there. For those who don't know, there's a speaker and some equipment that you install and it makes your car sound like it's a turbo. I mean, what do you say if you have your hood popped and someone asks,

Person A: "Whats that speaker?"
Person B: "Oh, it makes turbo noises."
Person A: *blank stare*
Person B: "See, I don't have enough cash to afford a turbo set up, so I figure it would be cool to make it sound like I have a turbo."
Person A: "I'm going to stab you now."
Person B: "Fair enough."

(The last two sentences were stolen from Penny-Arcade)

But, see, why lie about it? It'll only get you laughed at. Or stabbed.

Viper, could you warm up the car a little bit? Not too much, but just enough so I could have sex with the tail pipe without burning myself.

wont it be abit hard as the tail pipe is 5inch (tip) in diameter, or do you have special dimentions:D

Yup! I'm a biggins in ze pants! I wish.... But your car looks awsome.

The WRX is wonderful, all that I wanted to be and more. 2100 miles on it or so. It was awsome, I broke it in on the track. I managed to get a weekend off when an autocross was schedualed, and I hit 2000 miles the night before. It worked out perfectly and gives the car even more sentimental value. I still drive sane on the main roads. But on on-ramps.... It's all over. I'm typically going faster than the people on the highway. Going from a 104hp Hyundai Accent to the 165hp RS was great. Now to something that is putting down the same amount of horsepower as the RS was making at the flywheel... it's just... wow. I love the car.

Right now I'm looking at some Prodrive P1s and some tires. The tires are really giving me one hell of a time. I was thinking Kuhmo MXs. $120 a pop for one of the best performing summer tires. While it's probably more tire than I'll ever need, it's almost as cheap as going with some of the lesser performaning tires. So I'm almost saying what the hell.

PS. I was the fastest stock WRX at the autocross. Edged out a SRT-4 all of the other WRXs and a BMW. :sly:
