Normal - 1:49.322
Total - 3:26.812
44th in US


At best, I might have another half second to shave off both times but I feel close to my limit.

I've dropped from 8th down to 10th so far today. :crazy: I really need to work on the normal car's time, cause that's where I'm hurting the most.

Microscopic improvment in tuned car down to 1'36.220, although i did see a T1 of .893 which has got to be one of quickest.. shame i didnt hold it together because i wouldve most likely had a 1'35 lap.

regarding splits, is T1 a 24.893?? I've never beaten a 25.093 and that was a one off

Posted the total time elsewhere, thought I would update here. These are my final times and will not be updating again.

Normal - 1:48.881
Tuned - 1:36.442

Overall - 3:25.323 (8th....for now)

I managed to finally break into 1.36 for the tuned, this was a goal I set for myself some days ago.

That time was a one off to match or improve my current lap time i need to be a low 25.0xx or better overwise its to much to make up on the rest of the lap now im nearly in the 1'35s and low .3xx for T2 i think is my best. Watch Mooses lap inside the car... see which lines he takes and from that you should improve hes about 9th overall. Also what im doing is sticking to the same car for about 3-4 days running so you really get used to the car and geting your potential and then going on to the other car after that and doing the same, i did it on the normal car and was like 4th when i finished (in GB) and then went onto the tuned 370z and took 0.7 off in the last few days which im now not far off my best, tomorrow i will go back onto the normal car as im now 15th with it.
My target by the end is 3'23.9xx overall atleast, theres still 4 weeks left!
I expect to see Dan and Tak in the 3'22s to be honest.... MEGA alien times already.
 
^^^^ I wasn't very clear sorry, I meant what a decent T2 split is, i.e. you said .3xx but what comes before the .3xx... 47? 48? 49?

Brought the wheel home, and it's broken. It's actually not even anything new, not sure which Logitec wheel it is. But, Gamestop has the DFGT for $100 right now so I will probably pick one up tomorrow.
 
I improved my Tuned time a bit after watching Timeattack's brilliant lap. I've also experimented with FFB and am now on 2 simulation.
Tuned: 1'36.354
T1: 25.042
T2: 48.341
T3: 1'07.700
Normal: 1'48.851
Total: 3'25.205
Well I should get back to work on the Normal car now so I can get into the '24s. :dopey:

Good point, one of the most dissapointing aspects of the otherwise great little demo, oh well, I'm going to attempt a brief session with the Tuned vehicle, Learner_Driver, a French competitor, is a little too close to my liking with his impressive 1'35.539 lap time:tup:
 
Did a session early this morning, and got a satisfying lap with the red car and with that I will have a Christmas break on this. Happy to get into the 3'23.5's (barely :P ) ..I can see those laps Dan is already making, but luckily I have time still to get it together.. The competition is only starting :D (although I'm already pleased with the total time. I doubt I will dip into '22's like Dan & Take & Learner & Lars & Co. for sure 👍)

First post, hello everyone, I am here to stay :)

My time is 1:39:671, nothing to brag about, I am GT noob :) but I am slowly learning. I am playing with DFP, everything off of course...
 
I improved my Normal time a little.
Normal: 1'48.591
T1: 28.3xx
T2: 54.9xx
T3: 1'16.7xx
FFB 2 simulation
Tuned: 1'36.354
Total: 3'24.945
That's good enough so far for 4th in the USA behind TA, DK, and Carl. :)
 
Sitting on a 1'40.044 irritating i really wan't to break the 1'40 which i can do, just need to find a better and consistent way of tackling the 2 tight turns
