Oh right. Thank you for clearing that up 👍 - thats 6pm GMT. Thats cool 👍

Also if TOCA is scheduled around same time as the NW season, i'll happily insert a gap week to allow running of the season opener 300 miler at Daytona, the 120 lapper 👍

Akmuq's going for the Triple Crown though.

The potential to be the only driver to win Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Trucks Titles would be a massive accolade.

Car specs:
473 hp
no ballast
Sports Soft, Racing Hard or Racing Medium tires (will be put to a drivers vote; each have their own pros and cons imo)

Schedule (haven't figured out dates yet, but preseason will be next weekend, followed by round 1 the next week):

Preseason: 60 laps at Daytona

Round 1: Daytona 300 (Triple Crown race 1)
120+1 laps/300 miles

Round 2: Old Spice 125 @ TR Motegi Superspeedway
84+1 laps/125 miles

Round 3: Jägermeister/Red Bull 110K @ Suzuka East
49+1 laps/110 kilometers/68 miles

Round 4: Clabber Girl 150 @ Indianapolis
60+1 laps/150 miles

Round 5: Verizon FiOS 100 @ High Speed Ring
42+1 laps/100 miles

Round 6: Rebel 200 @ TR Motegi Superspeedway (Triple Crown race 2)
133+1 laps/200 miles

Round 7: Aarons 188 @ Special Stage Route X**
2x5 laps/188 miles/300 kilometers

Round 8: TBD @ Laguna Seca/Spa/Apricot Hill
TBD

Round 9: Rolex 150 @ Daytona
60+1 laps/150 miles

Round 10: Indy 250 (Triple Crown race 3)
100 laps/250 miles

**The race at SSRX will be two 5 lap sprint races. Each race will give half points. There may be two winners, but all bonus points will be treated as if it was just 1 10 lap race. If you lead a lap in both races, you will only get one bonus point for a lap led. If you lead 6 laps in both races combined, you will get 1 point for most laps led.

Points:
Same as usual here,

1st place - 20 points
2nd place - 18 points
3rd place - 16 points
4th place - 14 points
5th place - 12 points
6th place - 11 points
7th place - 10 points
8th place - 9 points
9th place - 8 points
10th place - 7 points
11th place - 6 points
12th place - 5 points
13th place - 4 points
14th place - 3 points
15th place - 2 points
16th place - 1 point

Bonus points:

+1 for winning pole
+1 for leading a single lap
+1 for leading the most laps on an oval
+1 for the fastest lap on a road course (must be on track at the end of the race)
+5 for winning a triple crown race

2 dropped rounds. Round 10 cannot be dropped.

If someone actually manages to win all three triple crown races, I have no idea what prize to give out. If someone wins two, I'll give them 1 year of GTPremium. Perhaps we can pool stuff together in the case that someone does it.

Hopefully this can be a little more lighthearted than before. Give us all a chance to have fun, and recharge. :)

👍

Also, don't vote on tires now, please. I'll make a poll when I get the main thread up after work.

Just my opinion, I don't like the SSRX race idea. I want something with a pit stop. Mainly because I tend to always sweep the podium :sly:. But that's beside the point! But whatever I guess, no more single file fuel conserving. But there will be some wreck I'm afraid.

Typo in thread title Mule ;)

Right, I MIGHT be running part time in this in the 2011 #43. Chris car is TBC.
