My interpretation of this is:

Two wheels should stay outside the white line which indicates what is racing surface and what is not. By the outside wheel touching the curb means it has crossed the white line, therefore it is an infraction of the rules and subject to subsequent penalties.

I think MÜLE was fair to give 7 chances.

Overly fair in my opinion. Used to run a league where every corner cut (accidental or not) would add an additional 30 seconds to your finish time. You made sure that you ran a line that would be consistanly fast but not get an infraction which a few are complaining about. The point is too NOT CUT EVEN IF ITS A MM OR 1/16th of an inch.

i think ken you need to learn to have respect for the other peoples mistakes, as you said you are not a perfect driver either so i dont see why you are jumping on them with the "cheaters" and the general impression of undesireable people to race with, as you sir, are looking like a very undesireable person to be a part of the series with.

Crazy, shut up.

That's all for now. Will make a better reply when I'm on a computer.

Sounds good since it's pointless anyways. It was a race, guys were fast, others weren't. I was actually happy with my 11th place finish until I heard the top guys made some mistakes that were terms for penalties. I agree this is out of hand. I just wished penalties had stronger outcomes with them like I have seen before. Crazy has shut it. Cuz it's lunchtime.

I'm confused! Surely (in Spurgy's case) losing 7 points in the race from 23(?) is a severe enough punishment on the day, affecting his overall points total?

I appreciate Spurgy's is no longer a NW driver, using him as an example as the winner. Working out the final points on the day would mean he would not have finished first (in points).

Again, I support Mules take on punishments (and Drop's who I suspect will now have to follow suit), as it was made clear before the race, at the beginning if the Season.

Unless of course I have the wrong end if the stick!

I did the tables last night, but I never posted them, because I'm going to review as many drivers as I can today.

The link in the OP works if you want to see the tables as they are now.

Mule do penalty points also apply to team owner points in this case?

I made a ton of accidental "corner cuts", but still finished in last. I think that I deserve a severe infraction.

Yes. So that Cup drivers that come in still get penalized.

EDIT:

I am disappointed in the quality of racing in here. In past, droptop would drop cutters several positions and chqr would apply 30sec penalties. Where is that at? So, if you cheat in this league you can still finish first? Wow, I have about had enough of this! 2 Outside wheels inside the white line No Matter What, Inches or Not! My only penalty was a pit exit! Patience will teach you guys something. Mule, I wish more would be done about this. Idk what these infractions due. But they don't di what they used to in the past. 4 seasons worth of rule making in this series, comeon man.

I asked everybody before the season started if they had any disagreements with the penalty system. No one objected. I'm not changing it mid-season.

even though i'm one of the guilty one's i agree with you. I shouldn't have 3rd place. If you gave us time penalties it would probably be better. That way the clean drivers get rewarded by gaining more points.

I didn't want to interfere with the results of the race, post race. If it was possible to give drive-through penalties, I would do that, but we can't.

Spurgy keeps his win, you all keep your spots. Nothing was deliberate, so no reason to DQ anyone.

I believe Mules penalties are bang on. He has taken points away from those who have caused infractions (which is what I believe was stated from day 1?)

It will hurt more at the end of the season with the points lost, rather than a have a 'seconds penalty'. Example here would be Spurgy winning SC race by 30 seconds. He gets a 30 second penalty and still finishes joint first? That seems more unfair to other drivers to me, rather than to Spurgy.

Hope that all makes sense - tired today.

👍

The "Illegal pass" was on lap 2/3, get your facts right. You're just bitter that you were slow, the fact is, if I had run slightly wider, which if I had known you were so strict compared to other series I would have done, I would still have won, it wouldn't slow me down at all, just makes life a little harder trying to be more accurate on every lap. And you know for a fact, if you had "cheated for your standards" you wouldn't have come in the top 5, because you're way too slow, deal with it! Also the top 4 were in the top 4 because they've had more experience on tracks, not because they "cut corners", which they only did because they're used to it being legal to slightly trim corners.
So basically, deal with it this race, we'll make more of an effort next time now that we know you're so strict.

As out of line as what he was, going on about how anyone is "way too slow" is even worse. That stops now, and applies to everyone.

Stop using the word cheaters for accidental cutting at Monza, thats unfair :ouch:

This. I'm not trying to call anyone a cheat. Anyone who calls any of you guys cheaters is wrong. Cheaters get DQ'd.

I agree, nobody is saying that Alex or Sam would cheat knowingly, hence the 'accidental' part. It's simply that there is a rule and it should be upheld, irrespective of whether the drivers are known as generally clean or not.

👍

I am going to take pictures and videos after I eat something. Hopefully it will help clear everything up. After that, I will review other drivers.

Fair point, was a little harsh on Ken, I suppose what he said annoyed me. Sorry for what I said Ken.

No problem dude 👍 just didn't want any unfair advantage but that has all been explained. No hard feelings man.

Aggresive yet legal block, mistake by Mustard. Mustard really should have let off to avoid that from happening. In those situations, I'll always blame the guy underneath for causing a wreck as there is very little Trynor could've done. It looked liked Trynor saved it though but then the guy in 3rd finished him off =\

Well he didn't cut the chicane

Hate to say this against a team mate (sorry Troy) but it looked to me like he got himself into trouble.

Will watch again, but only seeing it on my phone.

EDIT : yep, it's like a few incidents I've had with Furi. Try lost his line and Mustard got the run underneath.

Lol and then clipped the grass putting himself into his team mate :(

I was not on such a good day, I also hit grinols earlier (no crash and unintentional but sloppy.) I felt warmed up for the race but I just dropped the ball big time. The retarded pit on lap 12 pretty much summed my day up.

I guess I'm neutral there on the public vid, I had my nose in there. I've watched my fair share of Nascar over the years and I guess I'd have to have DW weigh in. I actually did the same type of move on lap 1 during that race with someone, cant remember who it was.

I'll just say its 50/50. Racing incident.

BTW, Rich, for next week I'll need you to be in the Blue Red Bull car. According to what I think I have from RPH, that's the car you're in. Grinols in the Silver, and Dave using either.

The first block was fine... But when they did it the second time and ended up getting spun, that's their own fault.

I'd like to see the replay of Trynor(I think?) and Myself if you're in the uploading mood. Shoulda been in the first 10 laps, in the very last corner. I'm genuinely curious as to what happened and if it were my fault. I'm not complaining, or mad as Trynor slowed and waited for me after it happened.

Starting Trynors replay right now. Good timing. Will look for it.

EDIT: looks like he just tried to let off the gas early as he was in your draft and misjudged his braking. Looks accidental to me.

I know I don't race in the series, but here is my opinion on the incident:

NASCAR has said boys have at it, and they are driving faster cars in real life with less electronic aids, so rubbing in a GT5 race is no big deal.

Rest if the top 10:

mustard: 5
Fraiser: 4
Trynor: 2
D4LVY: 2
Grinols: 0

Can we move on to SSRX now? You guys still aren't mad at me? :(

I'm gonna drop the probation for this week as well. Disregard that.

I would say that block was illegal, he moved to the right, then straight back left, then right going into the corner cutting mustards nose off. If you swerve around like that you're going to be hit off.
